The Dark Side of Same Sex "Families"

Breaking the Silence: Redefining Marriage Hurts Women Like Me - and Our Children

This article is heartbreaking -- from the divorce, to the judge granting custody of the children to the gay father, to the daily psychological abuse of the children in this disordered situation. These two paragraphs alone reveal the evil of the judge who awarded custody of the children to their gay father:
Both of my children face identity issues, just like other children. Yet there are certain deep and unique problems that they will face as a direct result of my former husband’s actions. My son is now a maturing teen, and he is very interested in girls. But how will he learn how to deal with that interest when he is surrounded by men who seek sexual gratification from other men? How will he learn to treat girls with care and respect when his father has rejected them and devalues them? How will he embrace his developing masculinity without seeing his father live out authentic manhood by treating his wife and family with love, honoring his marriage vows even when it's hard?
My daughter suffers too. She needs a dad who will encourage her to embrace her femininity and beauty, but these qualities are parodied and distorted in her father's world. Her dad wears make-up and sex bondage straps for Halloween. She is often exposed to men dressing as women. The walls in his condo are adorned with large framed pictures of women in provocative positions. What is my little girl to believe about her own femininity and beauty? Her father should be protecting her sexuality. Instead, he is warping it.
Betrayal, manipulation and exploitation and psychological abuse -- they are all part of the dark reality of same sex relationships especially when children are involved. And the law favors the dark side. This is the reality of the culture of death where political correctness trumps the good of the children. Pray for Janna Darnelle and her children -- and for the repentance of her husband and his lover. May God protect the children from the horrendous scandal being inflicted on them.

May Jesus, who welcomed little children, protect them.

  1. I just saw the most heart breaking photo on another blog writing about Fr. Rosica's comment on how the Holy Family was the prototype of an irregular family. The photo depicted two naked men walking in a parade? in France? with two toddlers, one on the shoulders of one guy, the other holding hands between them. It is a horrible abuse of children.

  2. I saw that too, Terry. Poor babies. And to think judges are favoring these disordered and abusive situations for innocent children. And I use abusive deliberately, not in the sense of physical abuse, but mental and psychological. How can these children grow up with a healthy view of the REAL world?

  3. I agree, it's abuse! I remember this story awhile back; it's not easy one to read. What scares me: it's only a matter of time before someone views the kids as "fair game" and takes advantage them.

  4. Just being in that environment is psychological "grooming." It's hard to believe our culture has gone from Father Knows Best to Watch Out for Daddy's Guest in only a little over fifty years.
