Two of Michelle Obama's "senior staffers" on her trip to Africa. |
Are the president and his family really above the law? If the GAO can't hold extravagant parties with clowns and hot tubs, how can Sasha and Malia accompany the first lady on travel as "senior staffers?" I guess when you are the emperor, you can do whatever you please. The rest of us hoi polloi are supposed to tighten our belts, but not the Obamas.
On the other hand, the little girls might well be the only intelligent members of that entourage.
ReplyDeleteAnd you were outraged as well when the Bush daughters and the Clinton daughter traveled with their parents, right? The "senior staff" designation is meant as a play on words. The Obamas have often made it clear that their children come first. Having your father as President must come with so many disadvantages (like being the target of bloggers) but travel is a perk. Shame on you for targeting children with your hate of anything that has to do with the President. And I do not understand your vile toward Mrs. Obama at all. The President's wife and children are not elected. Where is your charity?
ReplyDeleteThe Obama are constantly telling the taxpayers they will have to suck it up and do with less while they give an example of incredible excess.
ReplyDeleteAnd are you serious about Michelle designating her daughters as "senior staff" on the flight manifest being a play on words?
I don't hate the president or his family. I hate hypocrisy and political positions that include advocating the murder of children both before and after birth.
Here are a few examples of the super excess of the president who is constantly engaging in class warfare. Funny how he never includes himself among those evil rich folk.

To "Mary Ann".
ReplyDeleteOne, none of those sites are trusted news reporting sites. If you had been writing a paper about how much you hate Obama for no reason, your professor would have laughed your works cited page down to a D. A D may be passing, but it's still not a good thing.
Secondly. Go look up how many presidents have taken vacations with presidential money, and how many of them left their families to do it alone. Obama deserves a break from idiots like yourself and the poster of this blog and hey, let's be honest, if you had been given an allotted amount of money from the government for a once-ever-so-often vacation - would you not take it? Yes, the government is aware of how much THEY paid Obama(just as any president before him) for his annual President Vacation. Like paid vacation days at work. Duh.
Now, "poster".
You are disgraceful. The fact that you use Obama's children as a reason to try and turn his name sour is disgraceful. Those are children. Do you have no concept of what's right or wrong to do? Because, last time I checked... singling out kids was pretty fucked up.
Also, the term "senior staff" has been used to bring many presidential children along for a trip with their fathers. It's happened several times in the past and given that Obama has some of the youngest children to be in the Presidential family in a long time(if not ever) why should he have to leave them behind? Because you don't like the tag their given to have clearance during their travel? Hahahaha.
He's a good dad and it's clear he fought to make sure his daughters would be safe with him and their mother. You must be a poor parent if you think that's a decision composed from 'pulling rank' over someone. That's called parental instinct.
What do you define as "trusted news sites?" The New York Times? The Washington Post? PBS? LOL!
ReplyDeleteApparently the president considered Mediaite a legitimate source since he invited the reporter to the White House.
Give some examples with citations of other presidents who took family members along as "senior staff." Frankly, I don't consider you, "Anonymous", a reliable source.
The picture you posted is from the inauguration in 2008...it's purposefully misleading.
ReplyDeleteActually, I had no idea it was an old picture when I posted it. Frankly, I don't follow the Obama kiddies. I just thought they looked cute. But I don't see that it makes any difference. They are no more "senior staff" now than they were then. Are you trying to make the case that an 11 and 14 year old are senior advisers to the Obamas? Give me a break.
