Shades of Commie Propaganda: The Obama Shutdown Campaign

Barack Obama and his Communist mentor, Frank Davis
Obama's mentor Frank Marshall Davis was a commie propaganda maestro and his apprentice learned his lessons well. "Obama's Shutdown Campaign echoes an old Communist party tactic."
Obama’s exploitation of the government shutdown (never let a good crisis go to waste) is a classic old method mastered by the likes of CPUSA [Communist Party USA]. It’s standard operating procedure. What you’re witnessing is Barack Obama’s “shutdown campaign” — and with the liberal media dutifully on his side to amplify the effort.
Here today, in our new America, our own federal government has gotten into the propaganda business full throttle. Its exploitation of the shutdown is shameless. Sure, we expect congressional Democrats to accuse Republicans of starving children, old people, kittens, puppies, fish, and birds; of wanting to kill your grandmother; of gleefully polluting the atmosphere; of hating black people, gays, Latinos, women; of hoping no child gets an education or a school lunch. You know the drill. Democrats do this regardless of whether they have the White House. It’s the air they breathe. When they have the White House, the cacophony is even shriller. Recall the shutdown follies during the Clinton years, when Commandants Clinton and Gore joined the ugly performance. Al Gore was superb at demonizing Republicans; he had a remarkable talent for doing so.
But the performance has reached a higher, uglier decibel level under the Obama administration....As has been reported, and is unmistakably evident to all but the most naïve, federal employees have been ordered to exploit this crisis, to make the government shutdown as uncomfortable as they can....One infamous culmination is the despicable display at the World War II Memorial at the Mall, which has been blocked off, wired off, and barricaded so no visitors can get near it. I’ve been to that memorial. No government employee is needed for you to stroll up and look at it.
But for the churner of propaganda, the agitprop artist, the spectacle of elderly, crying, dying, heart-aching, wheelchair-bound WWII vets travelling hundreds to thousands of miles to honor their fallen brothers, perhaps for a final earthly time, only to be denied by cruel, intransigent Republicans, is just too delicious to pass up.  [Read full article here....]
It's an old commie tactic used by a new generation of lying manipulators. And it's working to destroy this once great country thanks to the "useful idiots" employed by the tyrants. Don't just watch and weep. Fight!

  1. Reading Chomsky, Sontag et al one cannot miss the semiotic pretensions of Liberalism. Not content with having usurped by force the royal right to rule, they charge against authority itself, and then they appoint themselves (let me use capitals here) Most High Interpreters of Reality. Yeah: “Believe not thine own eyes for ye art blind and thy sin remaineth” they say. The Liberals finally ascend to those heights where the Word resides. In their Genesis the Liberal man does not merely give names to the animals, he pretends to give the entire cosmos its proper meaning.

Yet the new gods when descending among us mortals, get all entangled in a semantic form of Puritan ablutions of language, abounding in euphemisms much like the common American way of calling the loo a “bathroom,” in spite of any of the acts there performed involve no bath at all. Reality is not semiotically de-constructed to find its pure meaning but semantically re-constructed to exorcise it from those elements the Liberal mind abhors.

In their religious system they also have defined blasphemy. It is called hate speech, politically incorrect talk, or worse: failed ideas from the past. “Living in the past” is one of the most despicable sins in their book, akin to sinning against the Holy Spirit in Christian terms.
All that semantic hall of mirrors ends up fooling the very ones who built it. We have reached a point in history where Liberals don’t even deign to argue a point, they simply invoke the Great Liberal Spirit in the Sky to dispel the reasoning of the despised Conservative, Traditionalist, Medieval, Obscurantist by calling it passé, something devoid of meaning or importance because it comes from yesterday.

The flea has climbed Olympus and changed its name to Zeus but it is still a flea (while the mountain of today is the same one of yesterday, and shall remain Olympus for ages to come.)

  2. Couldn't agree more. The liberal is caught up in the symbols of his pagan religion: the peace sign, the green globe, the raised clenched fist, the rainbow flag, and, as conservatives constantly experience, obscene gestures. Liberals glory in accusing their opponents of the very sins they themselves commit: hate, incivility, intolerance, misogyny, racism, etc. Once man adopts the philosophy of liberalism that worships man instead of God, he slips into every error. Try to argue (in the classical sense of argument) with a liberal. Gradually, he/she will be calling you every name in the book without ever responding to your facts.

  3. Mary Ann,

There you have one word that has been assigned a new meaning: argument. Once in the House of Commons one of the Members slapped his opponent who had just finished a short speech. After that the Member responded calmly: "Sir, that's a digression. I will now hear your argument." These days "argument" is used to describe a quarrel instead.

Along with "argument" other words have changed: queer, gay, are two examples of nice words being assigned a new meaning. Nothing is sacred, all can be turned into something profane. The inversion of meaning is quite evident in the French word bien-pensant a legacy of the French Revolution to current Liberalism. Now when I read bien-pensant I think mal-pensant. The world has been finally turned upside down by those liberal devils.

  4. And isn't that Biblical? "A time will come when good will be called evil and evil will be called good."

Killing children is "freedom" to choose, sodomy is "love," etc. It is surely a time to embrace the cross and pray.

  5. This is a slow motion Americanized version of what the government of Rwanda did round the clock before the Hutus slaughtered millions of Tutsi people. The 24-hour-a-day state broadcasts sent reasonable people into a murderous rage leaving quite literally rivers of blood. Ours is a political Rwanda. Are we civilized enough to get it? I doubt it. The President is a sick, sick man who takes pleasure in demonic business. I pray that Our Lady will crush him like the snake that he is.
