My question is this: Who will be appointed to tell us if the Consecration that Francis is going to do on March 25 was accepted by Heaven? When John Paul II did the Consecration on March 25, 1984, Sister Lucy said on November 8, 1989, that the Consecration had been accepted by Heaven, yet no one but the Blue Army believed her. Please don't say that the answer to my question will be what happens with Russia afterwards, because spectacular things happened to Russia after the 1984 Consecration including the breakup of the Soviet Union and the fall of Communism in 1989. Additionally nuclear war was averted (that same nuclear war that the current leftist global elites, Obama, Soros, Biden, Trudeau, Macron, Klaus Schwab, Hilary Clinton, Zelensky, etc., seem to so eagerly want now) but no one wanted to believe any of that had anything to do with the 1984 Consecration.
This is a story about the world not believing what is before everyone's eyes. The following 4 people on the world stage were disbelieved by the powers that be. What would have happened if they had been believed?
Everyone knows the story of the Communist left murdering the Romanov family in the basement of the Ipatiev House in Ekaterinburg, Russia, on July 17, 1918, one year after Our Lady of Fatima appeared to Lucy dos Santos and Francisco and Jacinta Marto. The world wants to believe the narrative that all of Russia's royal family died that night, their bodies tossed down a mine shaft and burned to ash.
Then everybody knows of Anna Anderson saying that she was Anastasia. She always knew who she was but the world would not believe her. Even when the results of handwriting and ear print analyses proved she was Anastasia the world disbelieved. As a young girl Anastasia had a mole removed from her back so it would not show when she wore a ballgown. Anna Anderson had a scar in the same place. Anastasia also had deformed feet. Anna Anderson had deformed feet. Anna Anderson had a bayonet wound through one of her feet (the family was stabbed with bayonets after being shot to make sure they were dead). Anna Anderson knew things that only Anastasia would have known. The facial features of Anastasia as a young girl and the facial features of Anna Anderson as an old woman are identical, most especially the mouth. But proof after proof was tossed aside.
The Romanov fortune was said to have been in Switzerland and no Romanov family member left living after the war (the fortunate ones had escaped Russia before the Red Menace overtook everything) would say that Anna Anderson was their cousin because they wanted the MONEY. Anastasia/Anna Anderson was left to wander the world, ending up in Charlottesville, Virginia where I was living at the time riding racehorses.
I have an entire shelf of books written - from both sides of the coin - about the Romanovs, Russia, Anastasia, the Tsar and the entire Romanov royal family that I've read over the past 40 years. There is not a picture of any of them available to the public that I've not seen. I know all sides of each and every argument, but the one thing that proves Anna Anderson was Anastasia was what she told a biographer had happened to her father (Nicholas was a cousin of King George V) and mother (Alexandra was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria), her three beautiful sisters (Olga, Tatiana, Marie), to Alexei, the Tsarevich (who had hemophilia) and herself in the Ipatiev House the final three days before their murder.
The royal family stayed 78 days in the Ipatiev House before their murder. For almost all of that time, especially at the beginning of their stay, the guards were fairly respectful and friendly, but gradually they were replaced by ever increasingly evil men. After Lenin ordered the family's murder, the guards were changed for the last time to those evil hardened coarse men who would be their assassins.
Now please don't tell me that Anastasia/Anna Anderson made this up. We all know how wicked evil is. The definition of evil is the corruption of innocence. You don't for one instant think that those evil satanic men, knowing that their function in the Ipatiev House was solely for the purpose of killing the Romanovs and their retinue (lady in waiting, court physician, footman, and cook for a total of 11 people murdered that night) would let them go to their graves as chaste VIRGINS, do you?
Anastasia told the biographer that the Tsar and Tsarevich were repeatedly sodomized, the Tsarina and the 4 girls repeatedly gang raped. Once when the Tsarevich was summoned to be sodomized again, his father, the Tsar and Emperor of all Russia!, volunteered to go in his son's place. That family, who loved one another so dearly, went through unbelievable hell listening to and seeing their loved ones sodomized and raped while the filthy men laughed in their drunkenness.
The horror of it all for each of the family members must have been near like the Blessed Mother's sorrow at the Cross. The Tsar had to watch his beloved chaste wife, the Tsarina and Empress of all Russia, and their 4 virgin daughters being raped and his innocent hemophiliac son sodomized. In turn they had to watch him - their husband and father - and Alexei, their son/brother be sodomized and each other being raped. Is is any wonder that two years later Anastasia, after giving birth to an illegitimate son, tried to commit suicide in Berlin?
Today the Romanovs are Martyr Saints in the Russian Orthodox Church and thanks to Vladimir Putin, the Tsar's reputation has been rehabilitated during the Putin era.
"Since Nicholas and his family were sainted by the Russian Orthodox Church in Russia in 2000, churches, chapels and shrines dedicated to the Holy Imperial Martyrs have appeared across Russia....With Communism having withered, the contours of an older Russia have re-emerged...Putin doesn't want to be seen as merely continuing the USSR. He says that the Soviet Union failed and for him that indicates that there was something wrong with it.

But what if - just think - what if people had believed Anastasia/Anna Anderson in 1920 when she tried to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge in Berlin? What if the Pope had consecrated Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the late 1920s as requested by Heaven? Could it have been possible in the 1930s for the remaining Romanov members, using the Romanov fortune in Switzerland, to have united with the White Russian anti-Communist forces and defeated Communism then? If so would the Spanish Civil War have happened in the 1930s if the Russians had defeated Communism immediately? Would WWII have happened?
II - Sr Lucy dos Santos - March 28, 1907 - February 3, 2005
Again, everyone knows the story of Sister Lucy dos Santos and again I have read almost every Fatima book available over the past 40 years, studied her personality and every feature of her face at every age in every public photo available.
Someone once remarked that Lucia, Francesco and Jacinta looked too serious to have just seen the blessed Mother....that they should have been smiling and happy. I replied that they had just seen Hell. Someone else remarked that pictures of Sister Lucy smiling in later years meant that it really wasn't her because the 1917 pictures all depict a very serious unsmiling girl - as if Lucia must be frozen in time eternally frowning. I replied that Sr Lucy was known, even as a child, to be very happy and personable, so much so that all the other children in the village always wanted to be around her.
There have been various comments that "the real Sister Lucy" was killed around 1945 when she suddenly appeared in photos with "teeth that obviously showed the person pictured was a fake Sister Lucy." Sister Lucy had naturally very crooked teeth. As she grew older she had severe gum problems and in 1945 (?) all her remaining teeth were pulled and she got dentures. As dental procedures improved over the years she got better dentures. Then later better dentures again.
People say that some of her letters had to be from the "fake Sister Lucy" because they were typed. It's as if people think that for Sr Lucy time stood still and she never advanced after 1917. The very simple answer to the "letter being typed problem" is that she learned how to use an electric typewriter that was given to her as a gift.
And on and on it goes all because some people think the Consecration of Russia was not done and the PROOF is that the real and supposedly dead Sister Lucy would never have said that the Consecration was done in 1984 by JPII because overnight Russia didn't become the sparkly happy most wonderful country on the planet where everyone was a Catholic. That's the proof which is no proof at all.
"The 1984 consecration was done late – very late, which Our Lord foretold to Sister Lucia in 1936 when he said, “Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars, and persecutions of the Church; the Holy Father will have much to suffer.
"In another conversation with Sister Lucia, Our Lord said, “[The Holy Father] will do it, but it will be too late. Nevertheless, the Immaculate Heart of Mary will save Russia. It has been entrusted to her.” Sister Lucia revealed these conversations to her confessor, Rev. Jose Bernardo Gonçalves, in May of 1936.
"After the 1984 consecration was done, Sister Lucia confirmed that it was 'accepted by Heaven'. When asked what the sign would be, she responded, 'Look to the east'.
"What happened soon after in the Soviet Union can only be seen as the hand of Our Lady.
- On May 13, 1984 (feast of Our Lady of Fatima) an explosion destroys 80 percent of the Soviet Union’s main munitions storage depot for its largest fleet; two-thirds of its missiles are destroyed
- On Dec. 13, 1984, an explosion in Siberia destroys the Soviet Union’s largest ammunition base
- On April 26, 1986, the Chernobyl nuclear reactor accident occurs and we now know it staved off a planned nuclear strike on Europe in retaliation for the arrival of U.S. Pershing II nuclear missiles in Europe.
- May 12, 1988, an explosion wrecks the Soviet factory that made rocket motors for its deadly long-range missiles.
"The new president Mikhail Gorbachev had, in the meantime, instituted new freedoms, including freedom of religion. By 1991, atheistic communism was dead, the Soviet Union was no more and the world had reportedly avoided a nuclear war."
In this world of unbelief, even Lucia's own mother didn't believe her! She slapped Lucia and took her to the parish priest. Why won't people believe that there never was a fake Sr Lucy, but that she was the same person from 1907 to 2005? Were handwriting and ear analyses done? Were they refuted like Anastasia's? After all, today Russia is by far a more morally sound country than the United States. We've let the Red Menace advance here while Russia has moved away from atheistic Communism. Americans are bogged down in the mire of Marxist agendas of sodomy, abortion, persecution of religious rights, lying MSM news, a President put in place by a coup and controlled by Obama and the NWO Globalist elites and no one can so much as bake a cake without being sued for not having a glowing approval of sodomy. Are we blind not to see that we have become the home of the Red Menace while Russia has moved away from it since the 1984 Consecration?
What if we had believed that Sr Lucy was Sr Lucy all her life and not a doppelganger since 1945? What if we had understood that Vatican II was what the Blessed Mother warned about in the Third Secret? What if, by obeying the Blessed Mother, Vatican II had been averted and never happened? Why do we always put our own agendas before the Truth? Why do we have to make up our own truth because we don't like the real one?
III - General Francisco Franco - December 4, 1892 - November 20, 1975
The best book to read to learn the TRUTH about General Francisco Franco and the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) is Dr Warren Carroll's The Last Crusade. Franco was a Catholic and he and his wife prayed the Rosary every night yet he was always portrayed as an evil man. His place in history was difficult to understand because the information about him as being evil comes from the Left which is evil itself. Because the Left never got over the fact the Franco WON the war, they must always portray him as evil to make themselves look better. You know...since they LOST.
One year after the war ended, Hemmingway, a fan of the Communist left in Spain, wrote For Whom the Bell Tolls about the Spanish Civil War, taking sides with the anti-Christ forces against Catholic Spain. In 1955 Jose Maria Gironella wrote a more unbiased book - The Cypresses Believe in God about the 5 years leading up to the civil war.
After Communism murdered the Romanovs in 1918 and Russia became the Red Menace incarnate, the Left, after winning the Cristero War in Mexico in the late 1920s, tried to spread their errors to Catholic Spain in the 1930s. In the year of 1936 alone, 15 bishops and more than 6,000 priests, seminarians, monks and nuns were martyred in Spain by the enemies of Christianity. Tens of thousands of churches, chapels and shrines in Spain were pillaged or destroyed yet most people, thanks to the Leftist media, who have even heard of the Spanish Civil war, don't understand why it was fought or how it was really won. And 99% of them who have heard of General Franco say he was evil.
Francisco Franco - the Nationalist just like Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump - was defending Catholic Spain against the leftist forces of the anti-Christ and for this he was forever vilified and cast as an evil far right fascist. Franco was the first world figure to be cancelled, his memory smeared and forever void of any truth. Even in the movie You've Got Mail, in one scene Jean Stapleton's character smears Franco. Was that necessary? For the Left, yes, it was. They must forever deposit into our subconscious that Franco - and all like him, Putin being the current recipient, not to mention what they did to Trump - was a bad bad man. They cannot even let Franco lie in peace. In 2019 his body had to be exhumed and buried elsewhere. The current Spanish leftist government even said that the coffin could not be draped with the Spanish flag, however his grandson draped his grandfather's coffin with the Nationalist flag.
Without General Franco, Spain would have been a satellite of Russia in 1936 - 1975. After Franco's death in 1975 the Left swiftly moved in and took over. Today Spain, a member of the EU since 1986, is politically aligned with sodomy, abortion, and the "blessed open borders" where thousands of Islamic migrants cross daily. It took hundreds of years to drive Islam out of Spain. Queen Isabella finally succeeded in the reconquest of Spain in 1502 but today all that has been reversed with Muslims pouring over Spain's borders.
What if the left hadn't poisoned the minds of the Spanish against Franco? What if he had been hailed as a hero for preserving the Church there and saving Spain from the hands of atheistic Communism? What if the Consecration of Russia had been done before 1930? Would the Red Menace have even tried to annihilate Spain? Could the Spanish Civil War have been averted?
All I can say is thank God for General Franco, who stood up against the anti-Christ powers that be in his time and stopped them in their tracks until his death in 1975. He showed us that it can be done. After Franco died, the Red Menace advanced again but this time in an unbloody manner....just like here in the United States. It's everywhere. We're slowly being annihilated like the frog boiling in the pot. What would Franco think of a nation whose people elected far left legislators who passed a bill for infanticide up to 28 days after a child is born?
IV - Vladimir Putin - October 7, 1952 - current
Vladimir Putin was born in St Petersburg, the most beautiful city in Russia. Please believe me when I tell you that Russia isn't still like Fiddler on the Roof with sword-wielding Russian Cossacks galloping through peasant villages mowing down Jews and recalcitrant Russian peasants.
Putin loves his country. He loves Russia to the point where he won't glibly give over the reins to the EU, NWO, open borders, homo-sodomite global elites. Russia will remain Russia with her own culture, her own history, and her Russian Orthodox Church. With members of the Greek Orthodox Church publicly calling Francis a heretic, why would the Russian Orthodox Church want to become part of the Catholic Church under Francis? People say that Putin just pretends to be a Christian, but he isn't really so he's bad. I say look in the mirror. Also cast your gaze on Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi who pretend to be Catholic.
Vladimir Putin is in no way going to become a puppet of the puppet masters of the New World Order like Volodymyr Zelenski. One look at Zelensky dancing in high heels and the global elites thought, "Perfect!" They knew they had a new puppet to manipulate, weak and pliable. He would do anything including sacrificing Ukrainian citizens in a losing war, so after pouring tons of money into the Ukraine they placed him as President. Most of the time he wears a green T-shirt, especially when talking to the US Congress.
Meanwhile, Putin is a Nationalist - that type of person most hated by the Left. Hated like Franco. And Trump. Like the Canadian truckers. The Jan 6th crowd. You. Me. Putin is not going to let the EU, NWO, Kalergi Plan global elites flow into and take over his beloved Russia and since he won't play their political games he must be vilified as a KBG agent and a Communist. GASP!!! OMG! He's KGB!! He's a Communist!!! Well, no he isn't. The United States is more Communist than Vladimir Putin and there's proof of that fact - AOC, Soros, Hillary, Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Omar and all the rest of them whose only cry is for the downfall of America, the ashes of which are to be reconstructed into the Luciferian NWO.
So voila! America has become the former Communist Russia, and today's Russia has become the former America. My only question here is why there is no understanding that since individual people can change so can individual countries.
V - The Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Now we come to the crux of the matter. Suddenly there's a war. With Russia! OMG! The Blessed Mother at Fatima warned us about this!! (105 years ago) Quick! Someone do something! I know! Let's get that Consecration done! (105 years later? Seriously?) ...scramble, scramble, panic, panic....Francis! Francis! DO something! Do the Consecration!
So Francis is going to do THE Consecration. (105 years later, after disregarding the 1984 Consecration as nothing accomplished.) Do Catholics really think this will go over well in Heaven?
Not taking the 1984 Consecration into account, does the Church truly believe that after ignoring the Blessed Mother's request for 105 years then suddenly what they think of as her prophecy come true and a leftist Marxist Vatican II pope who has squashed the Latin Mass of the Ages will do an EMERGENCY Consecration when they've had 105 years - a CENTURY! - to do it, that it will be a true and valid Consecration?
Any Consecration to the Blessed Mother is a good thing, but frantically scrambling to finally do what Heaven asked a century ago is disingenuous.
That's not to mention the fact that the Third Secret of Fatima and the date it should have been revealed (1960) was clearly a warning about Vatican II and the disastrous results of that Communist infiltration and current destruction of the Catholic Church to the point where we have a Marxist pope who might not be the actual pope doing THE Consecration that the Blessed Mother asked to be done 105 years ago to avert Communism spreading in the world.
So we have a Communist asking Heaven to protect the totalitarian Luciferian New World Order globalists from a Christian country and we're supposed to think Heaven will bless it.
Again, my question is: Who will tell us if this current Consecration was accepted by Heaven?
Actually I'm thinking the Consecration to Russia done by Arbp. Lefebvre and the four newly consecrated bishops in 1988 brought about the break up of the Soviet Union etc. Just my opinion, but I believe it.

ReplyDeleteI agree;the chin and jaw do not match, dentures or no dentures. On 'original Lucy' the chin is full but receding back towards her neck. On 'fake Lucy' the chin juts forward and is quite prominent. I don't believe that any kind of dentures would affect the chin that much. And she changed her tune about the consecration, from not done to done...as whacky as a 'fake Lucy' theory might sound, I kind of believe it. If the 1984 consecration was legit, then why are they doing it again? Why isn't Rome saying, " No, it was already done!"

Fascinating post. I never knew the story of Anastasia but I was aware of the Czar's final moments when the Satanic socialists decapitated the bodies and threw them down the well. I have never had a problem with Putin. I have always seen him as a nationalist, Russia comes first. He reminds me a lot of Trump, strong moral compass and leader. One of Putin's first duties was to install Orthodox priests as chaplains back into the Russian military. Trump was the strongest pro life president this nation has ever had. Many good similarities. The covid scam has left a stain on peoples logical thinking so they will continue to follow the narrative, Putin bad, Orange man bad. They will throw at you that Putin is KGB. Historically I have read of some German officers during world war II that joined the SS. They were not political, they did not hate Jews. They joined because the SS battalions were given the best and most modern equipment especially the panzer divisions. I can think of one, a tank commander by the name of Michael Whittman. Mundabor has been putting out great insight about the conflict and for the most part the justification of Putin doing what he is doing. I try to use that in arguments with people about their concept of the "evil" Putin. "I see pictures on the news, Putin is scum" they say. I point out why do you still trust the news media, you know the lies they perpetrated about Covid? I tell them you can be watching pictures of anything at any time being passed off as happening now in Ukraine. I remember that picture in Iraq when we bombed a chemical weapons factory but the media had pictures of people running around with shirts that said, in English, "Baby food factory". As far as the consecration goes, it does need to be done as its a request from heaven but again casual Frank is putting his own slant on it ignoring what our Lady specifically said she wants. Remember these were the same modernists who changed the rosary, a gift from our Lady, by adding the Luminous mysteries which destroyed the entire purpose which was to pray the Psalter, the book of psalms of which there are 150, the same number of Hail Marys. So in their logic we got 5 more because the Mother of God got it all wrong in their minds. BTW I don't recall Francis even mentioning Our Lady much until the Consecration. The protestants hate our Lady apparently as much. What will they say when Christ ask them at the final judgement, "Why did you say all those horrible things about my Mother?". The Russian Orthodox Church is controlled by the KGB. (Patriarch Kirill is former KGB, as was the Patriarch before him.) This is not God’s Church. It is VERY late for the Pope to consecrate Russia; but better late than never. He is the true Pope, the Vicar of Christ, even if he has bad apples in the bin with him. He will realize and course correct when it’s too late. Let’s pray that Christ will strengthen Pope Francis to lead us on the road to Calvary which is before our Holy Church. The pivotal question: why does Providence allow such filth as Biden to achieve power that blatantly and openly harms His people? Christ said, "When you pray, say 'Our Father.'" You are absolutely correct in attributing the change in Lucia's appearance to dental intervention. Have we not observed this same change in loved ones who have undergone significant dental work? It is my understanding that it was commenced before her transfer to Carmel in order to preclude leaving the strict enclosure which prevailed in the pre-conciliar epoch.

Life in a Discalced Carmel with no more than 24 women constituting the community at any one time [let alone those who entered and departed between 1948 and 2005 which would be a not unsubstantial number of candidates] precludes the success of such an operation. Central casting can’t dig up a woman to pretend to be responsive to the call of Jesus Christ to deep intimacy with Him without those who lived with her perceiving within a relatively short span of time – if not immediately – costumed fraudulence. No amount of “science” or appeals to a misapplication of evangelical obedience can keep lips sealed. At the very least six individuals would have been required to pull off such a farce. Again the simple piety and transparency, the affection manifested to pilgrims. Does anyone honestly believe that such a secret could be concealed within any family? I know for sure there is no religious community or family where such deception could be maintained.
If the authentic Lucia required some sort of “elimination” and thus a “body double” the far easiest route would have been to subject her to calumny, debase her, rob her of her credibility and be done with her. Label her an unfortunate “wacko” who slipped into poor emotional and cognitive function.
Russia clearly has NOT converted to the Faith, therefore, either the consecration has NOT been done or our understanding of Our Lady's message is faulty.

I think there will be graces come from it, nonetheless. And with the Church imploding and the world on the brink of greater wars, we certainly need all the grace we can get. Yes, Putin is being demonized like Trump and Franco, etc. Poor innocent people in Ukraine caught in the crossfire. Yet all of this is part of the'reset' and the globalists want death because they follow their father, the father of lies who kills, steals, and destroys.

Anonymous, seeing as how Francis has not exactly converted to the Faith either and he's supposedly the Pope, how can we blame the Russian Orthodox for not doing what the Catholic Church's own Pope has not done?
This event kind of mimics what happened to France, when St Margaret Mary asked the King of France in 1689 to consecrate his country to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Nothing was done and 100 years later in 1789, France would begin to fall. Why can't religious/secular leaders just follow the instructions given from heaven through Jesus, Mary and the saints? It drives me nuts as a priest, because we have specific forms for every rite in the Church, but if Our Lord or Our Lady gives us a directive, it should be followed without one's own personal additions or subtractions. I do agree with the premise of this article which was well presented and well researched. Regardless, we should all follow the basic teachings of the Church, repentance and conversion no matter what happens in the world.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of not believing what’s before our eyes, it boggles sane minds that so many continue to believe that Jorge Bergoglio—the most public heretic in the history of the world—is an actual pope. Actual Popes must be actually Catholic. But Bergoglio has made it crystal clear that he hates actual Catholicism with the white-hot hatred of a thousand burning suns. Yet even though it takes absolutely no legal authority to simply recognize reality, the stark reality of this vile man spitting in our faces daily, most continue to refuse to accept this reality that this demonic man cannot possibly be an actual pope. They resolutely refuse to accept the inexorable logic that one cannot be the head of a body of which one is not a member. Amazing.

In short, most people prefer comfortable lies over uncomfortable truths. An ancient story.
Many good points Ms. Mathiessen with which I concur. However, the consensus is that Anna Anderson's claims were without factual basis. Weren't bodies of all the children in the Royal family accounted for in the 1990s and wasn't the DNA test done on Ms. Anderson's remains negative for a relation to the royal family?

On the other hand, I disagree that Sister Lucy prior to 1960 and the one after 1960 are the same person. There is a site called Sister Lucy Truth that has reports by world-renowned experts in physiognomy, dentistry, and graphology who say they are two different people. Sister Lucy was secluded in a convent in Portugal and not allowed visitors. On the rare occasions that her siblings visited, they could only see her through a barrier, so they could have been easily misled.

ReplyDeleteI've never bought the "Two Sr. Lucias" theory, but likewise I've never believed that the 1984 consecration of the world by JPII fulfilled the requirements. Like the other botched attempts, I believe that it was an imperfect act that mitigated some of the problems of the modern world in a limited way. As much as it would be nice to think that Russia is converted, it begs one question: If Russia is truly converted as our Lady wishes, why is the Catholic Church the one religion that has so many restrictions placed upon it?

This war is a lot more complicated than most of the media is willing to tell us. Vladimir Putin is no saint, but he's no monster either. I've long suspected that he has a positive vision for Russia and admire his holding the line against the LGBTQ pressures of the perverted west.
We must all pray for and end to war, but also for the revelation of the truth.

2) I note that in the lengthy prayer composed for March 25, 2022, there is much use of the collective “we,” rather than the personal. Collective, not personal, sins are highlighted. I may stand to be corrected, but does it not seem that the collective “we” extends into the consecratory part of the prayer? We do not read, “I, Pope Francis, in union with bishops around the world, consecrate …” Rather, the collective “we” is employed, as if all together - bishops, priests, laity - consecrate.
I have NOT read all the books on the czar and his family's passion, but this story inspired me to do some more reading online. I was surprised that DNA testing proved Anna Anderson was NOT Anastasia.

Her DNA didn't show a close relation to that of the Romanov bodies that were found or to the living Romanov relatives. A private investigator in 1927 identified her as Franziska Schanzkowska, a Polish factory worker with a history of mental illness. Later DNA testing showed that her DNA showed a close relationship to an uncle of Franziska Schanzkowska.
Anna Anderson's DNA was tested posthumously from an old tissue sample supposedly left behind at a hospital in Charlottesville, VA. DNA testing was in its infancy when this was done about 25 years ago, and the royal family was also involved. It would have been their ancestors/relatives who would have profited by Anna being proven an impostor, due to the Romanov inheritance, so I would not put any credence in that DNA test result.

Anastasia/Anna Anderson's DNA was MAILED to London for analysis. Anywhere along the line that DNA sample could have been exchanged, "lost" or destroyed. The lab person could have lied if given enough money or threatened if he/she did not lie.
