‘Manufactured’ Media Lies Can End Democracy: Tucker Carlson Makes First In-Person Speech After Departing From Fox
During his hour-long speech, Tucker didn’t directly address the situation with Fox News but spoke about America’s political and social issues that he believes can lead to the “end of democracy” and the “enslavement” of the American people....“I’m starting to really believe that the divisions that we see in our society are pretty much manufactured,” Carlson said, adding that one example of this is the idea of racism.
“Obama’s first term was how we were going to get past race. I didn’t vote for the guy, but everybody I knew was excited, and so was I,” Carlson said. “We elect some guy I disagree with, but we get to the point where we stop picking at the scab and move forward as one country. Why wouldn’t I be for that? As a Christian, I was totally for that.”
But that changed in Obama’s second term, he said: “Oh no, we’re not post-racial. All we’re going to talk about is race and make each other hate each other on the basis of race.”
“I don’t think most Americans hate each other on the basis of their ethnic differences,” he added. “I think a lot of that is just a lie, actually, designed to distract people.”...
“I just think that’s at some point, you have to call it what it is—which is lying,” he said. “And lying with a very specific purpose, which is to avert your gaze, to pull your attention away from the things that matter. That’s not news coverage. That’s just classic propaganda.”
Tucker is blowing the warning trumpet like the Old Testament prophets. We'd better listen for the sake of our children and grandchildren. One of the ways each of us can help is to encourage companies to cancel their advertising at sites like HuffPost. I just responded to an email from the Florida Family Association by sending an email to Ortho Feet, where I'm a regular customer. I will not buy another thing from them until they stop advertising at HuffPo. Let them drink Bud!
Christians are like the Tower of Babel. There is no communication or understanding.
ReplyDeleteChristians and people of general goodwill do not comprehend the power of numbers.
There are no leaders, so no one to organize the people to act as one, something the other side does par excellence.
Anhauser Busch got a bit of this with the Bud Light fiasco.
If Christians ever are blessed to work together as one, what could not be accomplished.
Instead they flail and peck at things, and complain a lot.
May God send great leaders.
Christians are like the Tower of Babel because they are not united in the one Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Christianity as a universal entity was split up by men who wished not to obey God’s laws but to pick and choose and to make their own churches. Until the straying lambs return to the flock,we will neither act nor think as the True Body of Christ was meant to do.
ReplyDeleteIs this the speech you are talking about?

That's a different speech, Aqua. He hadn't left FOX yet when he spoke at Heritage. But I'll enjoy watching that too.

I will pay more than I would normally be willing to pay for his new channel. I will even sign up for and use a Twitter account for the first time ever to follow this patriot.
