I'll just go ahead and admit a few things here so that Church Militant can get all their legal ducks in a row if they're thinking of suing me, dragging me into court, making me lose my job (hahaha), doxing me, searching my dark mysterious past, etc. So here goes....

I've never had a fundraiser on the Internet for myself or others, I own my own little home left to my brother and me by our mother when she died (I bought my brother's half since he already had a home). I live alone, I've been married twice, I have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. I'm poor, never lonely, converted to Catholicism 41 years ago, attended Novus Ordo parishes but now am a member of the SSPX. 

Church Militant needs an anatomy lesson

Anatomy 101:
(a) the neck is above the chest
(b) the neck is not the chest
(c) the chest is below the neck and therefore not the same thing

Each time Church Militant says "based on Church Militant investigators" I laugh. I laugh because even when the evidence was written on paper in black and white, and even when the victim/whistleblower, while being filmed in an interview, told and even demonstrated what happened, Church Militant in general, and Christine Niles in particular, told a lie an "inaccuracy"- you know, because a lie "specific error" is more sensational than the truth.

UPDATE: The statement is now linked on the home page. Christine Niles has also released a video about her own resignation. Michael Voris' has released a video on X. In the midst of all this, Simon Rafe has sent out a message asking for...guess what...more money. As long as Simon, author of the Darknight game, is involved with CM, I'm outta there. Keep everyone in prayer, but spend your money wisely on apostolates that are really saving souls.

Before I begin, let me say a word to Milo. Milo, run! Run away from Church Militant as fast as you can. They're using you, your name and your fame for their own personal and professional gain. Stop being used!

Now that I've gotten that off my chest let's delve into Christine Niles and Church Militant knowing the truth while willfully lying (or are they just incompetent?) in order to defame the SSPX. 

Remember back in July when Christine Niles excoriated me for not "doing simple fact-checking" by not calling Rebecca Carroll personally and asking if she knew Jassy and Hannah before posting my article on the Internet? Christine was so incensed at my apparent ineptness that she threatened me with a lawsuit! 

Therefore shouldn't Christine Niles do the same thing herself? Shouldn't she be doing simple fact-checking - or at least have her staff do it for her - before taping shows and posting false base premises (my base premise was true) on Church Militant, Facebook and Twitter? Why lie when easily obtained facts are in plain sight? Is Church Militant lying for (Opus Dei) money to "fabricate a pretext" against the SSPX or is incompetence their modus operandi?

Before we move on to the game of tetherball I'd like to address the (most recent) double standard practiced at Church Militant when they hosted a sedevacantist on their panel of 9 diocesan priests "who have been sidelined in varying capacities for being faithful". (Here)

One of those priests, Fr Stephen Lefort, after being dismissed by his bishop, became a sedevacantist and was conditionally re-ordained by a Thuc-line bishop.

What a double standard for Church Militant! Yet isn't this par for the course in Vorisland? Michael Voris and Christine Niles "constantly state that the SSPX are a bad group of untouchable schismatic victimizers, yet Fr Stephen Lefort, who has actually done schismatic acts and has put himself under a dubious bishop, is treated no differently than the good guys on the panel, nor are any of his schismatic acts disclosed by Church Militant."

Why would anyone believe the frenzied sensationalism and ranting screeds of Voris and Niles? We, as reasonable people, shouldn't believe them and the game of tetherball explains why. Tetherball is a game where two people strike a volleyball suspended from a stationary metal pole by a rope or tether. The pole is usually 10 feet high with the rope connecting the pole and tetherball being 8 feet long. The two players hit the ball clockwise or counterclockwise until one player manages to wind the ball all the way around the pole as far as it will go until it hits the pole. Of course the closer to the pole, the shorter the rope.

Michael Voris and Church Militant are like tetherball. The entity "Church Militant" and all its actions are the pole. Michael Voris is the ball, tethered to the pole. Connecting Church Militant (the pole) and Michael Voris (the ball) is the rope (MONEY).

Who Sounds More Like a Faithful Catholic? Michael Matt or Michael Voris?

Once there were two Michaels. Both were named after the warrior archangel and both used the media to promote their message. Both Michaels made videos and wrote articles to get their messages out and raise a Catholic army to fight for the faith. One Michael’s banner bore the cross of Christ the King and, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather (who founded the oldest Catholic newspaper in the county, The Wanderer), this Michael defended the faith of our fathers. He called on  his army to pick up their rosaries and rally round Scripture, Church doctrine, and Holy Tradition. He urged faithful Catholics to resist to the face the pope and those bishops undermining 2000 years of Church teaching and tradition.

The other Michael began well. He also urged his followers to fight for the faith. Many didn’t like his tone, but, frustrated with the infidelity of wolves in Roman collars, appreciated his spunk. His voice often spoke for them. But then something happened to this Michael. What exactly? Pride? Vanity? Too much love for the limelight? Desire for clicks by reporting ever more scandalous stories? Money interests?

Church Militant Hatred for SSPX part 4: Liars Will Lie! And if they lie about small things, they'll lie about greater.

My husband and I once told one of our teenage children whom we caught in a serious lie, that the worst thing about it was the loss of trust. We had never known that child to lie to us. It also put the child and a friend in an extremely dangerous situation. "Your word is who you are," we said, "How can we trust you now?"

The last gospel of the traditional Latin Mass says, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Our word is our sacred bond. And when we lie, we break that bond and can no longer be trusted.

Which brings me to the liars at Church Militant.

The negative reactions to Susan's post, Snow White and Priest Charming - A Modern Tale of Female Vindictiveness, are starting to appear in the combox moderation list. I haven't decided which ones, if any, I'm willing to post. Certainly not the one using the F-word and calling Susan a bitch.

extreme language Church Militant uses against those with whom they disagree. I would never call CM a “cult” if they did not throw out that accusation liberally against orthodox Catholics who embrace tradition, especially those who attend SSPX chapels. I will not, however, stoop to using their “pervert” and  “pedo enabler” language against them no matter how many same sex attracted men with crazy hair run their circus. But really, to call a rally by Michael and Milo “boot camp” makes me laugh! Remember Corporal Klinger in MASH? That immediately comes to mind. Looking at pictures of cult leaders it seems that hair is a significant magnet to draw followers to a particular cult leader, and Michael Voris certainly has a lot of hair. 

In addition to hair, here's an interesting list of how to recognize a cult. Church Militant seems to fit every one of the following ten descriptions so are they a cult? My comments are in red.

Dear Michael Voris,

I'm here to help you out in what seems to be a dilemma for you. I have the answer to Church Militant's problem. Whether or not you'll listen is up to you.

A) Recognize the problem

Church Militant's problem is that it's fighting a losing battle. You're constantly playing ecclesial Whac-A-Mole. No sooner does Church Militant whack down one priest, bishop or cardinal for sodomy, stealing or some other equally nefarious thing, than another worse problem jumps up and you then have to whack that problem down. It's never ending and will never be controlled. It's impossible because you're fighting against the Modernism that Vatican II placed within Christ's Church. It's everywhere in every crook and corner of every diocese in every parish in the entire world.

Church Militant's Hatred for the SSPX Explained: Part I

Looking at the past can often be the magnifying glass that explains the present. Since so many have wondered about the fanatical hatred Church Militant (CM) has for the SSPX, I decided to take a good hard look at the origins of Real Catholic TV/Church Militant/St. Michael's Media and their financial and personal connections to Opus Dei. What an eye-opening search. Michael Voris and his team have been liars from the very beginning, hiding their personal and financial connections to Opus Dei and others with a rabid hatred for the Society. The lying and hypocrisy are deep and wide. 

Will Ben Carter and Mundabor be the Next Targets for "Church Malevolent" Lawsuits?

Thanks to Mundabor's blog, I recently discovered Ben Carter's YouTube channel, the Garden Shed. Carter has a series of videos spoofing "Church Malevolent." Carter is an SSPX member living in Portugal and he considers Michael Voris a dangerous individual, the "enemy of tradition," who "insults and condemns every decent Catholic out there" and is "undermining the entire office of the episcopacy." Carter describes himself as a "nobody... just a layman...trying in [his] poor way to be a Christian." He describes Church Militant as a "horrible, gutter, tabloid, disgusting, lying, dissembling, wicked organization" whom he believes are "dangerous and doing a lot of damage" to the Church.

For the record, I've never heard of Rebecca Mavie Carroll. I confirmed she has never counseled Hannah, and she has never met or spoken with Jassy. The entire thesis of this piece crumbled in a matter of minutes - through simple fact checking.

I laughed when I saw this. I think Susan scored a hit which is why we got the threat. The thesis of the piece didn't "crumble" at all. As for Niles "fact checking" .... anyone who's seen her stories is familiar with how she uses half-truths to twist and spin. What makes her the filter for these three women? Is she their lawyer? Would they swear to these things in a deposition under oath? More to come.

Hilarious for lots of reasons including Mike's hair. Vanity is not a sign of holiness.

Are you tired of reading about Church Militant? What can I say? Mike Voris' Vortex is so hilarious today I couldn't resist writing about his little merry band yet again. The title of this Vortex episode is "Kinda Creepy" which I thought was "kinda" ironic coming from a group that excels at creepy.

For 25 years I have published a quarterly newsletter in the Diocese of Arlington. I use my personal home address for mailing rather than a P.O. Box. Anyone who noticed that the address for the newsletter and my home address are the same could reasonably conclude that I am deeply involved and committed to the work. In fact, it would be unreasonable to conclude that I had nothing to do with it. My name is actually on the newsletter, but let’s presume for my point, that I published anonymously. It wouldn’t take much of a Sherlock to figure out my connection. 

Which brings us back to the connections between Church Militant, Opus Dei, and Opus Dei supporters.

In my first post on the Resistance podcast by Dave Gordon and Joe Gallagher where they attacked the pro-life movement, I addressed their rabid vitriol against former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson. But condemning Abby was only the preamble to their misogynistic rant, one that reveals their lack of respect for women and our place in God's plan. [N.B. These two guys sound very much alike, so, in transcribing the podcast, I wasn't always certain who was speaking. Since their brains are cloned it probably doesn't matter, but I may have mis-labeled some of the conversation attributing it to the wrong speaker.]
