Will Ben Carter and Mundabor be the Next Targets for "Church Malevolent" Lawsuits?

Thanks to Mundabor's blog, I recently discovered Ben Carter's YouTube channel, the Garden Shed. Carter has a series of videos spoofing "Church Malevolent." Carter is an SSPX member living in Portugal and he considers Michael Voris a dangerous individual, the "enemy of tradition," who "insults and condemns every decent Catholic out there" and is "undermining the entire office of the episcopacy." Carter describes himself as a "nobody... just a layman...trying in [his] poor way to be a Christian." He describes Church Militant as a "horrible, gutter, tabloid, disgusting, lying, dissembling, wicked organization" whom he believes are "dangerous and doing a lot of damage" to the Church.

Mundabor's blog today really pegged the administration freak show whose iconic image is transgender Rachel Levine, a man playing dress-up in his mommy's clothes. (Pray for all those so confused about the birds and the bees they can't tell the difference between girls and boys.)

Mundabor's blog pointed me to an article at Gloria TV this morning quoting Cardinal Roche, 
head of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments. Roche laments those pesky bloggers, "keyboard warriors" he calls us, who defend the traditional Latin Mass and are having an effect on seminarians and others.

What a compliment!

You would have been forgiven for wondering why, of all places, Trump chose the Madison Square Garden for one of the most important appearances in these last days of campaign.

I would have thought – if you had asked me – that Trump was, like every good candidate, devoting some attention to down ballot races, which is important if the Republicans hope to make inroads in NYS. I think this is certainly one of the reasons for the decision.

However, a couple of days later another, much smarter rationale emerged. The Trump campaign is better aware than even most of us of the extreme affection his supporters have for Trump. They did not want a rally. They wanted a media sensation, they wanted to show to the entire Country the rock star status of the man. [Read the rest here.]

Mundabor wrote today about the pope's illness in a post titled Pope Francis: the Clock is Ticking Faster. As a seventy-something old lady, I relate to that metaphor since the pendulum on my own clock is moving faster these days.

You don't have to be pro-Putin to realize we are getting plenty of propaganda from both sides. Hello! That's what happens in war. Both sides want to make demons out of the enemy and justify any atrocity committed against them. Can we have a little balance? I think the invasion was morally unjustifiable. At the same time, being invaded doesn't make a leader either a hero or a saint. Zelensky is neither. As a matter of fact, I think he is a creation of the elites like AOC, a puppet for the globalists. They don't care about either the people of Ukraine or the people of Russia. They care about money and power. Check out Mundabor's blog. Sins against the eighth commandment are legion. Slander and detraction are serious issues. Which brings me to Church Militant (CM) and its reporting on the SSPX -- again. 

Michael Voris recently reviled the SSPX as a "cult" on a CM Twitter thread implying that  anyone who attends or defends the SSPX is a "cult" member.  He used two examples to support his statement -- Let me repeat that. He mentioned TWO!!! comments left on the Twitter feed and went on to cast aspersions on every single member of the SSPX. But not only the SSPX, the entire Latin Mass community. He implied, based on TWO comments, that everyone who attends the Latin Mass is self-righteous and thinks they are "superior and Holy." And of course, many of CM's followers piled on. Omigosh, those TLM supporters are evil and "spiritually diseased."

"Gaslighting Central" - The Propaganda Game over Ukraine

I always learn a lot by reading Mundabor's blog. Today he used a term that struck a chord when he called the pages on Reddit where folks claim Ukraine is winning the war "Gaslighting Central:" Here's a bit of what he wrote:

The method used by the propagandists is very simple: a lot of videos of unclear source, plus repeating all the obvious lies of the Ukrainian Government, plus belittling every loss. Russia’s downfall is always a

I read this Chesterton quote on Mundabor's blog and found it interesting and thought provoking:

This was always about November. George Floyd's killing was a gift to these thugs. Read Mundabor's take. Today is Sunday. Go to church and pray the rosary! Keep the Lord's day holy. And then work to elect moral men and women to government. We need honor and integrity in our political leaders! 

It's happened before and I pray that many Americans are taking note.

Signs of a Bad Bishop? He Treats Jesus Like a Frisbee and Denies that Mass is about "Worshiping Jesus."

This cartoon illustrates Bishop Richard Stika's instruction on how his flock must receive Communion. No Communion on the tongue and if any of you self-righteous, overly pious Catholics dare to defy his non-canonical order, you will be ejected into the outer darkness. (Hat tip to Mundabor.) Really! He will ban from the Church indefinitely anyone who dares to quibble with his order!

The Smoke of Confusion Fills the Sanctuary!

I haven't written anything about the recent wedding ceremony at the Vatican that included co-habiting couples. I've been too mystified to comment. But I read the article linked below today and can't disagree. I also didn't realize that the cohabiting couples did not apply, but were "handpicked" to participate. Huh?

Incompetence? Or was it Complicity? Trump Assassination Attempt Failed....For Now.

Remember Benghazi! During the Jihadist attack, special forces were told to "stand down." And so the ambassador and other Americans died, including several agents who defied the stand down order. Their courage is described in the book and movie, 13 Hours. While Obama went to bed for his beauty sleep before a fundraiser, real Americans responded to the threat with courage and selfless love.
