What's Wrong with this Picture?

Bishop Kevin Boland of Savannah recently participated in the installation of Scott Benhase as bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia. This appalling decision illustrates once more that Bishop Boland is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Like the Catholic bishops of 16th century England, he betrays the faith in favor of "ecumenical dialogue" with material heretics who choose secular relativism over biblical truth. For more about Bishop Boland's scandal affirming the election and insallation of a bishop who blesses same-sex relationships and approves the ordination of active gays like Gene Robinson, go here. Don't miss the outlandish photo of the presiding female bishop who looks like she stepped off the movie set of Alice in Wonderland. And note the rainbow stole on the priestess below. The liberal Episcopalians are so delightfully tolerant and diverse. Take your pick: fornication, adultery, sodomy, homosexuality, lesbianism, etc. ad nauseum. Bishop Boland's participation in this event makes Jesus' teachings a mockery.

  1. I know you picked it up from your source, but Bishop Boland is the Bishop of Savannah, GA.

  2. Ecumenism covers a multitude of sins (Cf. 1 Peter 4:8).

  3. Thanks for the correction, Ray. I can't blame my sources (I received the original Examiner article and photo multiple times in my email box.) Whenever I see Bishop Boland pop up in a new scandal, I think of my friend Robert Kumpel who lives in Valdosta and has been so vindictively treated by the bishop and his cronies.

  4. i don't know. isn't there something in canon law that prohibits Catholics from participating in Protestant ceremonies like this? I don't think that Pope Benedict or John Paul the Great would have participated in Protestant or "Ecumenical" Worship, would they?

  5. Mary Ann, although you are certainly right about it being wrong for a Catholic bishop to be at an installation of a "woman priestess or bishop", I do not think the stole on the woman is a rainbow stole. I believe it is just a multi-colored stole as the same or another woman is wearing in the article called "Bishop Loverde, where is Fr. James Haley?" I do not know if that particular stole has any meaning. You might want to check it out and make any corrections if there needs to be any. You do not need to post this if you do not want to do so.

  6. After looking at the stole in the other picture, I believe you are right. It looks like a colorful stole of the kind you see in South and Central America. I stand corrected. On the other hand if you check out the url below, you will see the lesbian priestess also wearing a multi-colored stole although not as bright. http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/archive/ldn/2010/may/10052008
