Good News for Notre Dame, Bad News for Georgetown

A respected government professor is leaving Georgetown for Notre Dame primarily because of Georgetown's abandonment of its Catholic identity. Well, we all know what Georgetown has become: a politically correct secular institution. This is just one more indication. Sad, but good news for Notre Dame.

Why I Am Leaving Georgetown

  1. From Georgetown to Notre Dame:
"From the frying pan into the fire"?

  2. Do you really think Notre Dame is any better? Have you forgotten the Obama debacle? I wish the professor luck, but frankly I think he is changing one pigsty for another,

  3. I'm afraid Dr Deneen is exchanging "tweedle-dee" for "tweedle-dum".

  4. Ah...hope springs eternal....And there was significant opposition to the Obama debacle that included some faculty members. So perhaps Prof. Deneen can help to bring about a revival at Our Lady's university. Shall we pray for that outcome?

  5. Our Lady abandoned “her” university the day the baby-killer-in-chief set foot on the campus. Good and Evil cannot coexist in the same place And she won’t come back until they get rid of the disgrace to the priesthood, Jenkins, who invited the Evil onto the campus. Georgetown has never been a Catholic University—as long as I remember it took pride in its being “Jesuit.” You never heard them say CATHOLIC. And at least it is named after its location, but Notre Dame has made its name a very blasphemy against the Blessed Mother time after time with John Meier who doesn’t believe the Blessed Mother was a Virgin, Nathan Mitchell who doesn’t believe we should adore Jesus in the Eucharist, Richard McBrien as if I need to tell anyone about him. I could go on an on but don’t forget the V***** Monologues. They’ll need an exorcist before Our Lady comes back to the campus. Thank you Cardinal Newman Society for helping us see the sins against our Lady at “her” university.
