What Women Really Need

Melinda Gates says she wants to help women. Yeah...like Hugh Hefner of the Playboy Foundation. Give women contraceptives and partner with abortionists who recycle them so they can always be available as bunnies, playthings, tarts, and pacifiers for little boys who are happy to enjoy the benefits of the sexual revolution with none of the responsibilities of adulthood. How does that build a culture of respect for women. All it does is create disillusionment, despair and the question, "Where have all the good men gone?"

Visit HLI's Factsheet on Melinda Gates and pray for her conversion. Pumping women full of drugs with abortion as a backup is not helping build a culture of respect and justice for women. It's this kind of strategy that has trained men to be little boys drooling over their all day suckers.

  1. Thank all these lovely ladies for making a most accurate film. Help for the poor should not be tied to pumping women full of drugs and killing thier children by abortion. It seems the Gates got their money on the backs of the poor in many cases, and some day it will catch up with them.

  2. I find Gates' work very honorable. Have you ever visited these countries? Having more children than you can sustainably feed is a tragedy. You are looking at this issue from your own background, where you feel empowered to have a partnership with your spouse and have the resources to adequately nourish, clothe, and care for your family. We are speaking of a culture where women have few or no rights, are married off at young ages by their families, and watch many of their children starve. No one is saying that these women can not have as many children as they want. The issue is that now they might have a choice.

  3. Actually,Anon 2:43, I think you are one looking at the situation from your perspective as a first worlder with decent health care. Chemical contraceptives are devastating to women in developing countries who lack medical supervision. The pill has been shown to make women more susceptible to contracting the AIDS virus, for example. It also contributes to blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks. Have you ever read the insert that comes with a package of pills? There are more contraindications than with almost every other prescription drug on the market. There is also evidence that the pill affects the gut flora of the women who take it which can have serious adverse affects in many areas and also impacts her children. http://wholewomanwellness.com/the-importance-of-healthy-gut-flora

Giving the pill to women in the third world whose health is already compromised is irresponsible. It's easy for Melinda Gates who has the best medical care in the world to push the pill on the third world where the women don't have even basic medical access and may not see a doctor for years. But it really isn't about the women for these elitists -- it's about population control.

Instead of giving a woman a monthly pill packet, how about a monthly stipend to buy food for her children? Or give her some chickens and several goats or start a project in her village with treadle-operated sewing machines and teach her a skill.

And if you really believe "no one is saying these women can not have as many children as they want" you must not be paying attention. As I posted yesterday with a link to Henry Kissinger's 1974 report on population, there were plenty of allusions in that doc to coercion if voluntary measures don't work -- including linking food to contraception acceptance. I don't call that honorable -- I call it EVIL. And the Gates are up to their necks with the coercion crowd.
