First it was IRS Luxury Conferences; Now it's EPA "Man Caves"

One thing about Obama -- he's given an example of opulent  government living that seems to be having a trickle down effect. We've heard about the IRS lavish conferences ($49 millions worth from 2010-2012) that included luxury hotel suites, employee gifts, $17,000 for ONE speaker, free food and booze paid for with government credit cards, etc. ad nauseum. (Read more here including the IRS audit.)

Well, that was just a crazy aberration right? Wrong! Now we're hearing about an EPA contractor maintaining secret "man caves." (Hey, why shouldn't the contractors get to share in the taxpayers' largesse just like the bureaucrats?) Here's just a paragraph from the EPA Inspector General's report documenting the lack of oversight by EPA at a Landover, MD warehouse:
The warehouse contained multiple unauthorized and hidden personal spaces created by and for the workers that included televisions, refrigerators, radios, microwaves, chairs and couches. These spaces contained personal items, including photos, pin ups, calendars, clothing, books, magazines and videos. The unauthorized personal spaces were arranged so that they were out of sight of security cameras through the use of screens, partitions and piled-up boxes.
Since 2007, EPA has pumped over $5 million into maintaining this ONE warehouse. But, sheesh, how can anyone blame them? They were very, very, very busy, after all, measuring the influence of cow flatulence on the ozone layer.

One thing is pretty darn clear: nobody is minding the store! The executive branch is out of control and has been for decades. And it's only getting worse with the spender-in-chief at the help! It's time to eliminate a bunch of these federal agencies. Read the Constitution! Give the responsibilities back to the states where they belong!
