When You Abort a Baby You Don't Just Abort a Baby...

...you abort "generations of children."

Nightmares After My Abortions Drove Me to Become a Pro-Life Activist

My mom was adopted. She never knew anything about her birth parents. In fact, she didn't find out she was adopted until after she was married and having a family of her own. But I sometimes think about what would have happened if my mother's birth mother had aborted her. Who would be missing on this planet? Me and my nine brothers and sisters, my five children and 21 grandchildren and all the children and grandchildren of my siblings. (I've lost count of the accumulated total of nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews, but it's a lot!)

Abortion doesn't just murder a child; it murders a family. Who knows how many people would have descended from that one individual? If he were Abraham, his killer would have been responsible for the annihilation of offspring like the sand on the seashore or the stars in the sky.

We will never know the toll of abortion until we stand before God at the end of time and learn all things. But it's sobering to reflect on the loss. Each of those children was important in God's plan and so were their descendants. The death knell reverberates down through the generations!

Pray that couples who killed their babies by abortion and all the family members involved in the decision come to repentance so they can have peace. The only place that peace can occur is in the endless mercy of God's love and forgiveness. "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do." Abortion is a horror and a tragedy. Pray and work for its end!
