Where Did the "Gentle Giant" Come From?

...gentle roots, of course!

Michael Brown's Stepfather Tells Protesters to "Burn This Bitch Down!"

"[Brown's stepfather] is an ex-convict whose rap sheet includes two felony narcotics convictions, according to state records. He pleaded guilty in 1997 to a marijuana distribution charge and was put in a shock incarceration program and placed on probation for five years. After violating probation, Head’s release was revoked and he was remanded to state prison.
"In mid-2003, Head was charged with narcotics trafficking, a felony count to which he later pleaded guilty. The St. Louis native was sentenced to seven years in prison. He was released in June 2008 after serving about five years in custody.
"Along with McSpadden, Head is at the center of an ongoing Feguson Police Department investigation of an incident last month during which three vendors selling commemorative Michael Brown merchandise were assaulted. One of the victims, Michael Brown, Sr.'s mother-in-law, identified McSpadden and Head as among the 'attackers' who ransacked her stands and stole $400 in cash and merchandise valued at $1500." (See police report here.)
Poor Michael Brown was apparently the product of violent and lawless examples. Head married Brown's mother earlier this year, but how long was he in the picture before that? Last night, he incited the crowd to violence. Was he really encouraging Brown to be "gentle" and peaceful?

Children learn what they live and poor Michael Brown apparently learned the lessons well. He was on drugs (provided by step dad perhaps?), when he attacked Darren Wilson, a criminal felony. He was on his way from a convenience store where he stole and then assaulted the cashier. This was no innocent, halo-headed school boy! Did he deserve to die? Of course not, but he very deliberately put himself in danger's way and then acted in an agressive, self-destructive way that lead to the shooting.

Brown's mother and stepfather have been blaming everybody in sight for the young man's death. Maybe they need to look in the mirror! Michael Brown could have been a Ben Carson or a Clarence Thomas if he'd had the mom and grandparents those two men had.
