Do Americans Deserve this Rotten-to-the-Core Administration?

Trey Gowdy doesn't think so.

Liberals really do believe they are smarter than everyone else on the planet, especially those dumb conservatives who cling to their guns and their bibles. The Gruber scandal illustrates in spades exactly how these elitists think. Note that Gruber can't remember anyone taking issue with his outrageous statements when he spoke to his like-minded colleagues. He's not the only arrogant liberal in the sandbox.

To refresh your memory on the scandal ---
Ph.D. Jonathan Gruber, an MIT economist, was the architect of Obamacare. Over a year ago he spoke in a series of venues where he talked about the "stupid" voters who don't understand economics and need to be deceived about what's in the plan. Here's just one quote from his scandalous blather:
“Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage and basically, you know, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically, that was really, really critical to getting the thing to pass,”
Wow! Think about that statement. Because Americans are so stupid, he said, they would never figure out the lies the administration was using to get their horrible package passed -- one that only now is being felt as Americans see their health insurance costs skyrocketing while they lose the ability to select their own doctors.

Gruber during the Madison-Avenue-style promotion of Obamacare masqueraded as an impartial adviser on Obamacare, but he was really on the HHS payroll and received millions in consulting fees to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. Wow! Talk about government corruption!

There's a good summary of the Gruber scandal here.  And another article about the complicity of the liberal media in the scandal here.

Gruber's grovelling apology is nothing but Kabuki Theater to try to minimize the damage that the release of his statements caused. The Obama administration is rotten to the core and this short video shows how the rats run from a sinking ship.

  1. We don't deserve a rotten-to-the-core administration. Could you imagine an administration engaging in intrinsically evil acts, then going from denying that they were doing those acts to then justifying those acts.

  2. As a matter of fact....yes. Since Obama was elected I can imagine any evil under the sun coming out of the White House. His chutzpah is unlimited! And he thinks we're all too stupid to remember what he said because he changes his story and then changes that he changed his story. You know -- "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor." and "You'll be paying a lot less for insurance." Tell that to my daughter who has lost her insurance and can't get anything close to what she had for less than 50% more in premiums and, on top of that, none of her doctors take the only affordable insurance she can get. All thanks to this corrupt, lying administration. God help us!

  3. Or the previous administrations torturing people (an intrinsically evil act) and then lying about it, and when caught in that lie justifying it.
Or ignoring the please of the church (among others) and engaging in an unjust war.

Are you still at the same email address? Just checking. Sorry this is off topic.

  5. Do Americans deserve this rotten-to-the-core administration? Well..yes. There is a saying that we vote in the leaders we deserve. Where there might have been some room for error in 2008, there wasn't in 2012. And we, as a nation, still continue to slaughter babies by the thousands each day.
