Catholic High School Gags and Suspends Teacher for Speaking the Truth about Homosexuality

If Jannuzzi's comment were still up what would Jesus do?

Defending Catholic truth is intolerable if it goes against the homosexual zeitgeist!

CATHOLIC TEACHER SUSPENDED OVER COMMENTS ON HOMOSEXUALITY

This teacher has worked in the parish for over thirty years in various apostolates, but daring to criticize the gay agenda got her the jackboot treatment and she will probably be fired or forced to resign.

Here's what happened according to Breitbart news:
Patricia Jannuzzi teaches at the Immaculata School, the parish school of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville, New Jersey. Her trouble started when she responded to something LGBT provocateur Dan Savage said to Dr. Ben Carson: “Being gay is a choice. Prove it. Suck my dick,” after Dr. Carson said being gay was a choice.
Jannuzzi linked to the story on her personal Facebook page and wrote:
See this is the agenda…one minute they argue that hey (sic) are born this way and it is not a choice to get 14th amendment rights equal protection…bologna…which was carved for permanent characteristics..unchangeable characteristics such as race and disability..but once they in (sic) the 14th amendment they will argue everyone should be able to choose being they (sic) gay or lesbian lifestyle…in other words they want to reengineer western civ into a slow extinction We need healthy families with a mother and a father for the sake of children and humanity!!!!
This teacher has it exactly right. All you have to do is read what gay activists say about themselves. Read the agenda from their 1972 Gay Platform. And read this admission that gays recruit -- so much for the "born that way" lie.

Jannuzzi's pastor, Msgr. Seamus Brennan wrote this deplorable letter to parents and alumni calling her statements, completely inconsistent with our policy and position as a Catholic Christian community." They described Immaculata as "a community that follows the example of Jesus Christ in welcoming all people," (except, of course, those who speak a politically incorrect truth). The letter goes on saying, "We will do everything we can in this trying time to make clear that the philosophy of Immaculata High School is one of inclusion rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ,"

Actually, Jannuzzi's statements were completely consistent with Catholic teaching which describes the homosexual inclination as "disordered" which it is and Scripture which calls homosexual activity a sin that cries to heaven for vengeance. The teacher didn't condemn anyone personally or imply that students with same-sex attraction are "unwelcome," she merely spoke the truth about the immoral homosexual agenda. Considering that homosexuals are eager to recruit students, it is Jannuzzi who is concerned about the young people she teaches. Fr. Brennan, on the other hand, is an enabler of evil.

Professor Robert George, well known Princeton professor and defender of the faith said this to Breitbart about the situation:
As Matthew Franck [a graduate of Immaculata] has noted, Pope Benedict has said that undermining marriage as the union of Man and woman harms human dignity and “threatens humanity itself.”
Pope Francis has said that same-sex marriage cones from “the father of lies”– the devil.
Are they disqualified from teaching or preaching at Immaculata?
What an irony’–and disgrace—that in the name of inclusion a faithful Catholic woman is being thrown by Catholic school officials to a mob led by Susan Sarandon and an actor on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Disgrace is exactly right. Pray for this courageous teacher who is the latest victim of Catholic dissenters who proudly join those who hate the Church. Nine thousand have signed a petition against the teacher throwing their bit of incense to the gods of homosexual sodomy and political correctness. Like the teachers in San Francisco Catholic High Schools attacking Archbishop Cordileone for daring to defend orthodoxy in his Catholic schools, these petitioners display their hatred and intolerance for the Catholic faith. Priests like Fr. Brennan who encourage and join them are like the priests in every age who, for whatever reason, choose the world rather than the city of God.

Why not give the pastor your opinion of his disgraceful actions. Here's the contact information for the parish. Please keep your phone calls and emails charitable.

  1. Thank you Ms. Kreitzer for using your blog as a witness to our Catholic faith. In THE WANDERER, a Minnesota based publication, I read about the administrative leave for Ms. Jannuzzi and was heartbroken that Msgr. Brennan and local Bishop Bootkoski equivocated in the face of celebrity reactions to her Facebook posting. The truth of God's word deserves stronger defense from our Church leaders. We are living in topsy turvy times. I for one rely on the church for guidance, direction and hope for God's mission on Earth. Thanks again for your blog. I will most surely follow it more often.

  2. Thank you, Mr. O'Toole. I couldn't agree more that we are living in "topsy turvy times." And it is so disheartening when our shepherds betray us. Sadly, we seem to have many Judases among the disciples of Christ.
