California Pursues Euthanasia in Stealth Move

WILL SACRAMENTO ENACT THIS BAD END-OF-LIFE BILL?

California is one of the first in line at the death cafe. The state legalized abortion in 1970, three years before Roe, and have been champions of death ever since.

Now as the death peddlers are shifting their target (or rather expanding it) from the beginning of life to the vulnerable at the end of life, California is eager to be the trend setter.
Earlier this year legislatures attempted to pass an end of life bill but didn't have the votes. Fearing a ballot measure, they have put the same language in a special session funding bill. That's how it's done, folks. If you can't get you want in the normal process of formulating your bill, defending it, and then voting -- hey! no problemo -- just put it into a special appropriations bill. These "death with dignity" bills are not about creating more and better health care options for people; they are about rationing and cutting costs. And who will suffer the most when these decisions are made? Certainly not the wealthy, but those who are already marginalized and have limited options.

The Chinese General Sun Tzu gave some very practical advice that we need to take to heart:
Know thy enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles, you will never be defeated. When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and of yourself, you are sure to be defeated in every battle.
Pro-life activists are pretty good about knowing themselves, but how well do they know the enemy? These end of life bills aren't just popping up by accident and coincidence. Think about it. The pro-aborts developed their strategy to make abortion on demand the law of the land by using the Catholic Church as a bogey man, manipulating language, lying about the number of deaths from illegal abortions, and beating the drum for women's rights. The same approach is taking place now to eliminate the vulnerable at the end of life. It's an orchestrated effort and a major leader in the battle is C-TAC. I bet you never heard of them.
Death express lane

C-TAC stands for Coalition to Transform Advance Care and that's exactly the goal: to transform health care from focusing on treating the patient's illness as long as he benefits to limiting and rationing care from diagnosis forward. Hospice/palliative care used to be true end of life care; now the goal is to get the patient enrolled as early as possible and moved into the shortest check-out line. I urge you to read C-TAC's Advanced Illness Policy Review. Hey, the red flag went up for me when I read their definition of "advanced illness:"
Advanced illness occurs when one or more conditions become serious enough that health and functioning begin to decline, active treatment may no longer lead to outcomes that patients choose, and care oriented toward comfort may take precedence over attempts to cure.
That definition could be applied to a person with no other "condition" than aging.  I'm 68 and can testify to the fact that my health and functioning is "begin(ing) to decline." And there is no "cure" for it either. Check out C-TAC's partners many of whom are pro-abortion. They are also promoting sessions using religious community organizing groups to train chaplains in their approach to end of life care. It's outlined in their Community Action Project. Think of the chaplains groups back in the early days of abortions that promoted child-killing and you'll see where this is going.

We've come full circle. The bureaucracy of death has expanded from the beginning of life to the end. Remember in 1984 when Governor Richard Lamm of Colorado said the elderly ill have "a duty to die and get out of the way." That's what "Transform(ing) Advanced Care" is all about. It's a big bureaucratic initiative for unnatural and early death. And I'll give you a hint. The head of the board of directors is Lucifer.
