The Most Powerful (and shortest) Response to the Pope's Exhortation...

....is at Dymphna's blog. It brought tears to my eyes and a stab to my heart because I know some of these women. And then read this one. Thanks for your wisdom, Dymphna!

  1. HUH?
The Pope is most like a communist freemason non religious Jew?

  2. I agree. More and more we have to rely on our own ability to teach out children the Truth's of the Faith.

I keep reading about how this must be resisted but I ask how? Should I send a note to the Pope and my bishop?

  3. I think a letter to the editor would have more value or an article posted on FB addressing the scandal. If it can be humorous all the better which just gave me an idea for a post. Watch the blog.

  4. CMtv comments from last night were mainly very negative citing various paragraphs in in the document and some condemned Voris for not pointing out how downright misleading it is. This morning they appear to have vanished and there is nothing against Church teaching in this, imho, wonderful piece of apostasy.
Now as far as writing letters.......good luck.
As far as FB is concerned ...One very Catholic lady called me in tears today. She was told by another 'Katholic' that she needs a mental health evaluation for being opposed to the ambiguity and downright watered down suggestions of what the Faith means when deciphering the words of this Pope. She was so upset she got in a car accident on her way to work. but rest assured according to what I read by this Pope , had she been killed she would have gone straight to heaven because no matter what, no one goes to hell.....and M Voris coined the term the Church of Nice?

  6. I'm glad she called you, Anonymous 3:53. This is when faithful Catholics really need to support each other and develop the hide of elephants. Liberals have always been experts at name-calling, but one thing they really hate is ridicule. So we need to develop a sense of humor that ridicules, not the person, but their ridiculous and often heretical ideas. That why Susan and I love doing Topsy and Tuptim. Rather than rage at the heathens, let's poke fun at them. When I was fighting our local Call to Action in the early days of Les Femmes, they practically foamed at the mouth when I ridiculed what they were doing in my newsletter. You can see some of the early ones at www.lesfemmes-thetruth.org in the archives.

  7. Thanks for the ideas. I don't do FB. Letters to the local paper might do. I'll have to remember not to read the comments. That is often a near occasion of sin for me.
I wonder if the time of discussion is past. Folks don't want to talk, they want to fling poo and screech just like monkeys in the zoo.

  8. I think newguy40 nailed it in his last sentence. But i would also add that many have passed by the time of discussion having spent s good part of their lives fighting the good fight with errant priests and Bishops.
There comes a point when you just take up the rosary and head for the hills because everything else has apparently failed. Life is short , eternity is forever and honestly I would just like to work towards my eternal home without the evil of personal anger over what the clergy is doing.
In the New Testament a millstone is mentioned twice relating to damnation. First when Jesus tell His Apostles that anyone harming a child and keeping that child from knowing Him would be better off dead and secondly, when an Angel of the Apocalypse heaves the city that sits on seven hills into the sea as if it was bound to a giant millstone. A millstone is a pretty heavy allusion for those who truly Believe.
Has Roma lost the Faith? From my vantage point I have to say, yes.
Our Lady of LaSalette ,Pray for us!
