Plea to the Pope from Sixteen Catholic Leaders: Short Version and Full Length

We plead, Holy Father!

Pay close attention to Bishop Athanasius Schneider. He tells us there is a "deep crisis in the Church." It is "very urgent" that the pope "may state more clearly" the issues of family and marriage and especially the admittance of those in invalid marriages to Holy Communion. We need "a precise, unambiguous declaration" affirming marriage and the necessity of couples in invalid marriages to practice continence in order to return to Holy Communion. Pray and fast for the Holy Father.
