Absolutely a 'witch hunt'. I have said this from the very get go. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Yes, Pell leans toward tradition, but that's just cake icing for these apostates. The REAL issue is the 'financial reform'. They're killing two birds with one stone. And.....we will now have the Council for Finances 'taking over' the 'reform' that's headed up by none other than..............wait for it.............Cardinal MARX. We can be SURE that he will 'follow through' with what Cardinal Pell put in place, now can't we??!! (sarcasm) Yes indeedy, he will set things straight with the new reform!!
I wouldn't bet the farm on Pell's innocence.....at the very least he was an enabler who sought to buy the silence of victims.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajWT4BERoHc
The practice of covering up abuse is well-documented and he is one of the perpetrators. If the Church won't discipline its own, then it is up to civil courts. Whatever other duties he performed admirably, he is a massive failure as a church leader.
