Remember the Lunch Counter Sit-Ins During the Civil Rights Movement?
Sarah Sanders booted from Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington
Maybe it's time to revive the lunch-counter sit-ins now that the liberal haters are refusing to serve us! During the Civil Rights Movement people were refused service because of the color of their skin. Now restaurants are refusing and persecuting patrons because of the color of their beliefs. If you're blue you can stay; if you're red and support Trump, you leave. The restaurant owner wasn't being forced to serve a cake that said, "I love Trump." The restaurant was simply being asked to serve the same food and provide the same service to a Trump supporter who happens to be a member of the administration. This is a civil rights issue and the restaurant should be sued because this is starting to escalate. Trump supporters are the "niggers" of the new age. These same folks who want to force bakers and florists and wedding photographers to violate their consciences by enhancing the celebration of same-sex weddings, think it's okay to deny food service. How about grocery stores and gas stations and dry cleaners and cab drivers and....well, you get the idea. What do you think? Is it okay to deny service to people wearing "Make America Great Again" t-shirts and hats?
Maybe the Dems and the Left are the Beast of Revelation where if we don't have the mark of the beast we cannot buy and sell... nor eat at their restaurants.
ReplyDeleteThe fomenting of hatred against Trump--ALL the time!--and those who support his efforts as well as the movements against Christians is growing. You cannot watch any news program without the trashing of Trump. Even our "conservative" archdiocese paper has an article about immigration and "pro-life" democrats which is to say that a Catholic can be voting for those things that are intrinsic evils.
ReplyDeleteThis building of hate precluded the persecution and murder of Jews, of the genocide in Rwanda, of the Spanish civil war and the Cristero time in Mexico. First you build up hatred with constant lies that many will go along with to get along and they the fireball of violence is let lose. The young people, long indoctrinated, are one step below violence now.
And our Church leaders are almost all complicit and are going along too or are silent about the Truth.
Look for the cross burnings and swastika graffiti next. We are all Nazis for daring to defend the Constitution. The hate-filled liberal left is fomenting the mob just like the liberal elite did in Paris before the storming of the bastille. I remember at the pro-life rescues when the pro-aborts screamed to feed us to the lions. Once I was surrounded by a group of about fifty all screaming in my face while I just stood there holding up a model of a 12-week baby. And that was 25 years ago. We are close to the killing fields now. Cardinal George had it right when he said we would be facing bloody martyrdom. I think it is coming sooner than he thought.
ReplyDeleteIt is pent up guilt from abortion. The sod priests are making it much harder to reconcile in the church than it used to be. So the guilt gets stuffed inside till a trigger explodes it.
ReplyDeleteI've heard it said that liberalism, that is, radical leftism, is for its followers literally a religion. They themselves don't call it a religion, but they defend and live it as if it is a religion. So in their minds, without actually claiming their rights to religious freedom granted in the First Amendment, that's precisely why they believe they can deny service, harass, and commit even worse offenses.. The moral obligation they believe they have a right to is to hate anyone who supports their enemy, Trump.
ReplyDeleteActually leftists generally embrace secular humanism which has been defined as a religion in the courts. And they've been busy as little termites for centuries. (Think the enlightenment!)
ReplyDeleteThe Humanist Manifesto defined its beliefs as a religion in 1933, despite being atheistic. Among their beliefs is this:
"SEVENTH: Religion consists of those actions, purposes, and experiences which are humanly significant. Nothing human is alien to the religious. It includes labor, art, science, philosophy, love, friendship, recreation–all that is in its degree expressive of intelligently satisfying human living. The distinction between the sacred and the secular can no longer be maintained."
The manifesto is atheistic and relativistic. What for example is an experience that is "humanly significant?" It's totally subjective. There are no firm and objective principles in humanism other than the individual right to self affirmation which is exactly why we're in the mess we're in. Humanism has no god but the individual who creates his own truth and significance (his own reality). The motto of the American Humanist Association is "Good without a God" and they are, as you would expect, complete leftists who claim to adopt rigorous science while they ridicule scientific facts about life in the womb. They favor embryonic stem cell research, are climate change and evolution extremists and, of course, they oppose Trump's immigration policies. No surprises there.
We need to pray for these elitist leftists who are going to remake the world in their own ugly image. They remind me of Danton and Robespierre.
