The failure of the hierarchy to come clean and expose all the sexual corruption is despicable and scandalous. The idea that silence is appropriate is just one form of cover-up in the hopes that it will all blow over. The Laity needs to stand up and hold the hierarchy of the Church accountable. We expect honesty and virtue from our religious leaders not corruption, lying, cover-ups, and stone-walling silence.
