Nabi Sayeth: Beware a House Built on Sand!

Nabi’s post today hits very close to home. My husband’s childhood parish was Corpus Christi in the Warwood suburb of Wheeling. He attended the elementary school there. We both knew Fr. Myles well. He celebrated the weddings of several of Larry’s siblings and the 50th wedding anniversary Mass of his parents. I always looked forward to a brief chat with Father whenever we visited Warwood. Please pray for the repose of Fr. Myles’ soul and for all the faithful shepherds who are among the victims of evil bishops!

Nabi presents unto Thee the words of Jesus which went unheeded by those who lusted for high places….

24
“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.
25
The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house.s But it did not collapse; it had been set solidly on rock.
26
And everyone who listens to these words of mine but does not act on them will be like a fool who built his house on sand.
27
The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. And it collapsed and was completely ruined.”

Climbers are to be found everywhere in our beloved Catholic Church. The Vatican is polluted with them and the chancery of the diocese in WV has been overrun by them.
By why? Did they never pay attention to the words of our Blessed Lord and His Holy Mother? Time and time again they tell us to be humble, lowly, to seek the last place at table and banquets….to put others, especially the poor ALWAYS before themselves. Why did they not listen to and heed the words of many great Saints throughout history…

“The King of Glory does not reward His servants according to the dignity of their office, but according to the humility and love with which they have exercised it.”
― St. Francis de Sales

“The more humble and obedient to God a man is, the more wise and at peace he will be in all that he does.”
― Thomas à Kempis, The Inner Life

God’s Justice is raining down and in abundance on those who were wolves to His sheep...who put self before His people. They have built their lives and priesthood on a pitiful pile of sand…..but they had been warned by the great Nabi of old….

Jeremiah 23:

1
Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the flock of my pasture—
2
Therefore, thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, against the shepherds who shepherd my people: You have scattered my sheep and driven them away. You have not cared for them, but I will take care to punish your evil deeds.
3
I myself will gather the remnant of my flock from all the lands to which I have banished them and bring them back to their folds; there they shall be fruitful and multiply.
4
I will raise up shepherds for them who will shepherd them so that they need no longer fear or be terrified; none shall be missing—oracle of the LORD.
5
See, days are coming—
when I will raise up a righteous branch for David;
As king he shall reign and govern wisely,
he shall do what is just and right in the land.
6
In his days Judah shall be saved,
Israel shall dwell in security.

This is the name to be given him:
Did the bad chancery shepherds and their Kapo’s of the lay staff who propped them up never think that God’s words applied to them and their lustful behavior?

Years ago Nabi had a long conversation with a clergyman of happy memory who was deeply troubled about something he had just witnessed. This clergyman, Father James Myles, had been through hell and back due to an alcohol addiction. But with the Grace of God and a resolute will be fought the good fight and won. He was rugged and quite rough around the edges but he had an unconditional and sacrificial love for God’s poor. And the poor and broken of society adored him!

He was assigned to be the vicar of the Wheeling deanery, as they were known at that time. And from his perch at his beloved Corpus Christi parish, he watched over the portion of the flock entrusted to his care.

One morning he had been out and about making his vicar’s observations at the various parishes when he went to the old Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on Wheeling Island.  After ringing the doorbell, a young man answered the door wearing only a bathrobe. The vicar was furious at what he saw. Why? Because the pastor should have answered the door. But instead, the pastor was out swimming for his morning exercise. The pastor, Father Myles knew, was a known ephebophile [Editor’s note: a homosexual who prefers post pubescent young males as sexual partners]  who had already been sent off for treatment for his insatiable lust for teen and young adult males.

And while Father Myles did not want to jump to conclusions, his gut led him to believe that something terribly sinful and unhealthy was going on in that rectory. He lamented the boy’s involvement with the very sick clergyman. The boy would go on in time to acquire a very prominent position in the chancery thanks to the support of another clergyman, his former pastor,  who himself had climbed to a very significant position in the chancery. It was all just one big luv ladder. Climbers, climbers everywhere but no caring priests to be found. So why the lust to climb??? Stay tuned….
