Nabi Sayeth: Which Way is Up?

Nabi Sayeth: We have entered the national week of Thanksgiving. And while many people are traveling to be with family members sprinkled throughout our great nation, many more will be involved with food and clothing distribution efforts closer to home. I was deeply moved by a posting on Facebook which described one man’s experience of an incredible outpouring of love:
“Today a little boy's eyes lit up when he had brand new shoes given to him. A little girl twirled with glee, showing off her new pink winter coat. A Grandma teared up as she received food to feed her family. A Sheriff's deputy helped an aged man by carrying a big box of food out to his paint faded car. Strangers held hands in a circle and prayed with Pastor Darrell Darrell W. Cummings for all who are in need. Members of the Wheeling community, (young children and adults) handed out vegetables, fruit, breads, meats, fish, cheese, shoes and clothing.
These volunteers, (from all walks of life,) who were strangers left friends, with a special feeling that they had helped their fellow man today. Three hundred individuals will have food on their table, children with be warmer and know someone cares.
I was glad to be a part of the Thanksgiving food and clothing giveaway again this year.
Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity and ability to help others. Please continue to help these Your Children and all who need healed and their daily bread. Thank you for our shelter and comforts.
In Jesus name we pray, amen.” (Chap Holbert)
Nabi Sayeth: While reading this posting and looking at the long line of hungry and poor children, women and men, this is but one of many prophetic signs that our Lord is giving the hierarchy of the Catholic Church. But will they see and heed this sign?
I am sure that many of the bishops left their fall meeting wondering how they were going to get out of the pickle into which they have gotten themselves. I am sure that they will convene numerous meetings with their Public Relations spokespersons, Diocesan attorneys, chancery Monsignors and fellow hierarchy members all in an attempt to plan strategies that might lead to solutions for their huge problem.

But God is calling them to a “different” kind of answer and has been doing so for thousands of years but they didn’t truly listen….

Isaiah 55:6-7: Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. {7} Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

Isaiah 58:6-8: “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard."

Hosea 6:6: For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
An Irish Sister once told her parish priest: “Father, you must tell the people that it is the poor who will welcome them into Heaven, not St. Peter!” And if Matthew 25:31-46 is to be trusted, as it should be, then Sister is absolutely right:

31
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne,
32
and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33
He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34
Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,
36
naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’
37
Then the righteous will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’
40
And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’
41
Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42
For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
43
a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’
44
Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’
45
He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’
46
l And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Nabi Sayeth unto the “higher ups” of Our Lord’s Church: Humble yourselves. Stop courting the mayor, governor, senators and your wealthy benefactors. As Our Lord instructed in Luke 14:
12
Then he said to the host who invited him, “When you hold a lunch or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or your wealthy neighbors, in case they may invite you back and you have repayment.
13
Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind;
14
blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

For those clergymen who are willing to listen...Turn to the poor and lowly....Rub shoulders with them, have “their smell” and they will show you the way to true freedom.….
