ReplyDeleteThe fact that most of this persecution with the eroding of the True Faith has been in full throttle since Our Lady's 1918 warnings has been nagging at me. The world and most Catholics completely disregard this greatest of mercy asking mankind to repent and return to God. Jesus's Divine Mercy Revelations to Bd. Josefa are confirmed with these two pictures: the two choices. 1. Satan's wrath against God manifesting through a world dominated by force. Or 2. God the Father and Creator's true Creation based upon Eternal Love. The Father's sorrow at so many of His own indifferent to love and goodness has only been increased since then. The people of the Body of Christ have consistently preferred to continue in the ways of the world: lust of the eyes, lusts of the flesh and worldly pride. They have stood by as the Ten Commandments are mocked and ignored eroding community respect and safeguards thus destroying civilization. They ignore and attack warnings against mortal sins to their immortal deaths. I have watched men and women in t-shirts and short shorts chewing gum playing games in their cell phone during Mass. I have no idea why they even get up to receive the Body of Christ. They do not kneel to pray nor stand to praise. They talk or ignore the Holy Word. This is not a recent thing. The preference for stars over saints. The preference for the pornography of tv and movies to real love. The preference for prostitution, masturbation, all forms of fornication for marriage commitments of love and respect in family life. The preference for selfish desires of the moment over love for God, parents, children, the sick, the elderly, our neighbors has led the world into its present satanic frothing state.
ReplyDeleteOur world has been handed by us to the five demons of satan: adultery, fornication,homosexuality,abortion, and pedophilia. Now we are persecuted by lawlessness because we scorn law, by violent rape, human bondages in abuse and sex trafficking because we scorn and mock love and family. We are tormented by the accuser in addictions because we have revelled in idolatries-the worst being our acting like we are our own god. The only answer is accepting conviction of soul, begging for repentance and running in the ways of loving reparation to return to the Cross and His Merciful Heart. There is no other way or answer except the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is and was Her Message at Fatima. She has never stopped helping each of us with great tenderness. We owe her respect and unfailing love. We are still offending Him and each other grievously and must stop. That's the bottom line. May He grant us the Grace of true repentance and Salvation and Redemption. Our Lady of Fatima pray for us.
In June of 1978 I visited Fatima with a Diocesan tour group comprised of adults of all ages and was forever changed from the overall experience! So powerful a place of healing, spiritual renewal, devotion,and prayer. The numerous priests (and several Bishop's) performing spiritual and corporal works of mercy was a sight to behold. I had the honor of doing the first reading during Mass on one of the days of our visit and the ambo was placed directly under the image of Our Lady which included the altar also prominently placed within the Grotto. Thousands and thousands of people from all over the world on pilgrimage.

It is less funny, perhaps, the more it becomes the rule rather than the exception.
Our Lady of Fatima is, let us not forget, the same Our Lady who appeared at Lourdes, God's only human creature conceived without sin. She stipulated that the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart should be done before 1960. Why was it not done and why would she say that God wished to establish devotion to her Immaculate Heart? Blessed be her Immaculate Conception and Blessed be her Glorious Assumption.
ReplyDeleteAnd praise and thanks to Our Lord Jesus Christ who knows all things, past, present and future for giving us his infallible dogma of The Immaculate Conception through Pope Pius IX and the dogma of her Assumption by Pope Pius XII. God knew then what we needed and still knows what we need now - the infallible faith of his Mother without which it is impossible to please him.
Yes, he who knows the day he will come to judge the living and the dead gave us these last two dogmas before he allowed his Kremlinist enemies to take over his Church in October 1958. They have "spread their errors" everywhere now exactly as she told Sister Lucia before she was murdered by the same communists.
If someone playing with God's sun in the heavens could not wake up the Catholics guilty of "all the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which he was offended" in 1916 according to the angel of Portugal (Saint Michael) then what will shake the faithless in 2020? Covid19?
