The Wages of Pandemic Panic Are Death! And That's a Fact.

Be scared, be very scared or
 the pandemic will get you!
I recently subscribed to the Epoch Times. I'm a puzzle lover and it has a great puzzle page, but that's not why I subscribed.

After watching some of their ads and checking out their website I decided it was a paper worth reading (unlike the Washington Post, the New York Times, and, sadly, even the Wall Street Journal).

Here's an article I read this morning from the May 21st issue that puts the "pandemic panic" in perspective.

I'm not sure you can read the article without a subscription so I'll provide some highlights. First this:

Pretending that we faced a choice between the economy, on the one hand, and human lives, on the other, was always a bogus distinction. “Economy” may sound abstract—it comes from a Greek word meaning “management of the house”—but actually, it is in many ways synonymous with life.

Do you care about human lives? Then what about the prediction that—as John Hinderaker noted—“hundreds of thousands of children worldwide may die because of governments’ overreaction to the COVID-19 virus.” Hundreds of thousands. And that’s not just his opinion. It’s part of a prediction made by the United Nations.
“Economic hardship experienced by families as a result of the global economic downturn could result in hundreds of thousands of additional child deaths in 2020.” Moreover, “an estimated 42 million to 66 million children could fall into extreme poverty as a result of the coronavirus crisis this year.”
Note that all this suffering and death is a result not of the virus but of our insane, hysterical, and antiscientific reaction to the virus. As I have written several times, this whole episode belongs in an addendum to Charles Mackay’s classic, “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds.”
I'm no fan of the U.N., but their scenario is sadly all too possible:
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Hundreds of thousands of children could die this year due to the global economic downturn sparked by the coronavirus pandemic and tens of millions more could fall into extreme poverty as a result of the crisis, the United Nations warned on Thursday.

The world body also said in a risk report that nearly 369 million children across 143 countries who normally rely on school meals for a reliable source of daily nutrition have now been forced to look elsewhere....the U.N. report warned that “economic hardship experienced by families as a result of the global economic downturn could result in an(sic) hundreds of thousands of additional child deaths in 2020, reversing the last 2 to 3 years of progress in reducing infant mortality within a single year."
Do those lives matter to all the hysteria hounds defending and cheering the draconian lockdowns, justifying the millions thrown out of work, etc.? Or do those children, mostly in the Third World matter? Out of sight, out of mind is the thought that comes to mind. Let them eat cake if they have not bread.

With the latest crisis ginned up by the radical left using the tragic killing of George Floyd as justification, we face further chaos and financial disaster. Is there anyone so naive as to believe this violence is random? It's straight out of the Communist playbook.

We see these looters and rioters pretending to care about Floyd while they engage in violent attacks against decent citizens like the young woman who was brutally beaten in Rochester. This is demonic plain and simple and the first weapon against the demonic is prayer and fasting. Next, we need to demand accountability. Arrest and prosecute!

Today on this feast of Mary, Mother of the Church, let's pray the entire rosary for peace and a restoration of order.

Our Lady, Mother of Jesus, intercede with your Son for our poor country. Bind Satan and his servants. Bring us to our knees in repentance and help us to remain a people of hope in these dark and evil times. Send your legion of angels to protect and watch over us. Amen

  1. The added deaths of innocents are just a bonus to the globalists who want to reduce the world's population.
