Joe Biden and his Democrat Brethren, Reeds Shaken in the Wind

Joe Biden calls himself a faithful and devout Catholic, as do Nancy Pelosi, Tim Kaine and other renegade Catholic politicians. He's not, of course, and neither are the others. You can't thumb your nose at God by violating his commandments and committing grievous evils while calling yourself faithful. The game of "let's pretend" doesn't work with Almighty God as the history of Ahaz in the Old Testament shows. 

Remember Ahaz? He was the rightful king of Israel from around 744-728 BC. When two enemy nations plotted to attack Israel and destroy her, God told Ahaz to chill. They would fail because He would protect the nation. He sent Isaiah with a message for Ahaz to put his absolute trust in Him and His power. Isaiah told Ahaz, by God's instruction, to ask for a sign that God's promise was true. Not a little sign either. "Ask the LORD, your God, for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights."

But what did Ahaz do after he received the best news possible from God Himself? Did He believe and obey? Not a bit of it! He put on a pious face and told Isaiah, "I will not ask; I will not put the LORD to the test." 

Wow! Sounds really holy and faithful, doesn't he? Kind of like old rosary-carrying, faith-on-his-sleeve Joe Biden and self-proclaimed "devout Catholic" Nancy Pelosi. But the truth of the matter is that Ahaz (like our modern Catholic Democrats) had already decided what he wanted to do -- solicit help from Assyria, a mighty and warlike pagan nation. Ahaz trusted their power and might instead of God's. Because of Ahaz's infidelity, Israel became a vassal of Assyria. The Assyrians drained the temple treasury and Ahaz introduced many pagan practices to Israel, abominations against God. He himself did not come to a good end.

Sound familiar? Like Ahaz, Joe Biden wears the mask of piety and, in the name of his bogus faith, he champions abominations against God. As do most (if not all) of the faux Catholic Democrats.

In an article at the FSSP website, Fr. Gerard Saguto discusses Shaken Reeds, those Catholic politicians who abandon their faith in exchange for this world's honors. Catholics need to take his insights seriously:

If a Catholic candidate is on record in support of evil laws and organizations, either personally or by affiliation with a political party whose official platform supports these, he has a moral obligation to recant, abandon the party if he cannot immediately change it, and do whatever is within his power to correct any damage he has caused.

This begins with the most fundamental of rights, the right to life, and that right being safeguarded in all times and circumstances to the weakest and most vulnerable – the unborn. To say that there are more pressing moral and social issues that plague our country is to completely miss the point; poisoning the river at its source poisons the lake into which it flows.

There is a hierarchy of moral issues, and so a grave error on the fundamental right to life poisons how all life is regarded and demands correction, especially from a Catholic who has been given the power or influence from God, the source of all authority, to attempt to do so.

Amen. As Fr. James Altman said previously, you cannot be a Catholic and a Democrat. The party is so corrupt at this point and so committed to diabolical evil, that it is pretty much beyond help. In 2012, the party platform failed to include God. When an amendment was introduced at the Democrat convention to include God in the platform, as well as recognizing Jerusalem as the capitol of Israel, anyone listening could tell the voice vote was evenly split. The party heads clearly wanted the amendments passed and, despite the necessity of a 2/3rds vote, the chair declared the ayes had it. They did not! At that point many delegates booed. A meagre reference to "God-given potential" was unwelcome by about half the delegates. Including the amendment in the platform was pious posturing opposed by many in the hall. 

If the Democrats have a god, it's the god Moloch to whom pagan nations, and even the Israelites (including Ahaz) fed their children. Biden and the Democrats worship that same god every time they promote the murder of babies in the womb. Fr. Saguto warns Catholics not to cooperate with evil, a serious sin:

[Biden] publicly claims that abortion is the law of the land and that he will do all he can to make sure it stays that way; therefore, any Catholic who supports him, or aligns oneself with a political party that supports him, would be in proximate cooperation with evil and would commit a grave sin, regardless if someone says he or she is “personally opposed to it” also.

The stance on life is not a disagreement in perspective or approach between political parties.

It is a moral absolute that admits no compromise, and is the issue that must rise to the top on election day. Abortion, which is the ugly daughter of a contraceptive and divorce-happy culture, must be eradicated, along with its own ugly daughters of pornography, prostitution, sex trafficking, and child exploitation.

Catholics, how many of our shepherds have to tell you the truth like Isaiah told Ahaz before you listen? Will you play pious games to justify an evil vote for a man committed to sins that cry to heaven for vengeance? If you don't like Trump, consider this email I received from a priest friend earlier today:

That moment when someone says, "I can't believe you would vote for Trump." I simply reply “I'm not voting for Trump.”

I'm voting for the First Amendment and freedom of speech.

I'm voting for the Second Amendment and my right to defend my life and my family.

I'm voting for the next Supreme Court Justice to protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I’m voting for the continued growth of my retirement 401K and the stock market.

I’m voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America’s involvement in foreign conflicts.

I'm voting for the Electoral College & the Republic in which we live.

I'm voting for the Police to be respected and to ensure Law & Order.

I’m voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I’m voting for our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over again to China, Mexico and other foreign countries.

I’m voting for secure borders and legal immigration.

I'm voting for the Military & the Veterans who fought for this Country who gave the American people their freedoms.

I'm voting for the unborn babies that have a right to live.

I’m voting for continued peace progress in the middle east and in support of Israel.

I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.

I’m voting for Freedom of Religion.

I'm voting for the American Flag that is disrespected by the Democratic Party.

I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion & not be censored.

I'm not just voting for one person, I'm voting for the future of my Country.

I'm voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms and their future.
