Ocasio-Cortez Calls For ‘Full Investigation’ Into Cuomo Nursing Home Scandal, Backs Calls To Strip Gov Of Emergency Powers
It's here! The time has come! After attempting to eat up Donald Trump with character assassination, hoaxes, and an illegitimate election, the left has moved on. The new menu item is one of their own, Andrew Cuomo. He is no doubt just the appetizer. And it couldn't happen to a more deserving and repulsive Catholic leftist (except perhaps Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi). Is that Cuomo in the hands of Saturn? Goya depicted the evil left when he painted Saturn Eating His Son. In Roman mythology the god, in fact, ate five of his six sons the minute they were born fearing the threat to his power. (Sound familiar?)
Saturn was the god of plenty and wealth, but also the god of dissolution. What a perfect icon for the Democrats in Washington many of whom have raped the taxpayers to accumulate their fortunes and are busy dismantling and dissolving all that is good and wholesome in their quest for absolute power (and donations from organizations like Planned Parenthood and the NEA).
No doubt Cuomo thought he was invincible and we haven't seen this played out yet.... maybe he is. Perhaps his Emmy can save him. But...maybe not. A number of New York lawmakers are asking the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to vacate the award.

Not only that, though. The FBI and Brooklyn's U.S. Attorney's office are investigating and with AOC hot on his trail...well, who knows. No charges yet and, perhaps, he can ride through the rough water to a safe harbor. The mainstream media is on his side. Last night NBC spent almost two minutes decrying Ted Cruz's trip during the devastating storm in Texas vs. ZERO on the Cuomo scandal. As the Babylon Bee headlined: Media Informs Ted Cruz You Can Only Travel During A Crisis If You're A Democrat. Killing thousands of nursing home residents is nothing compared to taking your children to a warm spot to escape the frigid temperatures! The Cruz trip to Cancun didn't kill anyone, but the left will use it to kill Cruz's reputation.
But even if Cuomo manages to make it through this crisis, he and others like him better remember the past and learn from the actions of other socialist governments. One sure thing about socialist leaders is they have no loyalty. You disagree or become a threat or a liability, watch your back. Remember Hitler's Night of the Long Knives, Stalin's Great Purge, Castro's political cleansing, and the purges of the worst mass murderer of them all, Mao Zedung. Socialist governments are all alike; only some of their tactics diverge. They are all socialists: The Nazis (National Socialist German Workers Party), the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), Fidel's Marxist/Leninist government, and Mao's Communist Cultural Revolution. They all bear striking similarities from the suppression of free speech, to book burning, to draconian control over the populace, to violence and murder.
So when you see the signs of socialism in your country, as we do today, get ready for misery and the opportunities that misery offers to do penance. But take comfort in the fact that socialism has a historical habit of eating up its own which is the beginning of the end. When you can only maintain your power with barbed wire and guns, that power is shaky indeed.
The purge of Andrew Cuomo's, if it happens, offers a sign of hope. Our elitist tyrants are walking a tightrope. One misstep and they fall from political power. Assassination is not yet the American way. But there's more than one way for a dictator to eliminate his competition. Cuomo was no doubt looking toward 2024 and the players are happy to eliminate a strong competitor. Cuomo has the hubris and chutzpa to try to muscle his way through this. But if he falls, be sure, he won't be the last! AOC's enemies' list, I'm sure, has room for members of her own party.
