So now let's see...which do I choose?

 THIS

and THIS

or THIS

Here's my answer written on July 16th.

Dear Fr B,

It is with clear insight as to what I'm doing that I now wish to withdraw my membership from St Mary's. For many weeks now I have known that I cannot ever go back to the Novus Ordo, no matter how reverently celebrated, because the Mass of the Ages does something to a soul that the Novus Ordo never could, for me at least. I cannot remember the last time I teared up at a Novus Ordo Mass, but it happens almost every time I'm at St Thomas More. The beauty and joy of it all is ...well...otherworldly and is, frankly, what I converted for all those years ago.

With Bergoglio's Motu Proprio today against the Mass of All Time I know now is the time I must make this decision. I can no longer be a member of both St Mary of the Lakes and St Thomas More. If Bergoglio excommunicates the SSPX then I shall die excommunicated. So be it. But then that clearly brings into question the validity of such an act by a Marxist globalist who people think is the pope when in fact he possibly isn't. (Just FYI - the SSPX thinks he is and prays for him in every Mass, but I don't necessarily think that way.)

I want to thank you for all your kindness to me over the past several years. I never felt anything but pastoral love from you and your presence at St Mary's and for that I sincerely thank you.

May God be with you,
Susan

  3. There comes a time to end a co-dependent relationship, which is what it feels like in the church now. They imagine there is nothing Catholics won't take, so they are using fear as their rationale, we are so fearful of leaving the mainstream church that we will tolerate anything. Clearly the last 8 years have been torment from him. But God loves us beyond even the church, and we are prepared to do without the Mass if we have to, as tough as that would be. No more co-dependency.
Bergoglio and his minions intend to take away the TLM. He is just going to enjoy dangling it over our heads for the next year or so. Don't we all know who's in charge NOW. Sick.
What kind of abusive person abuses another and then anticipates they will stay and worse, have "unity"??

  4. Welcome to being full-time at STM. Although we haven't yet met I hope to do sometime soon. In the meantime your letter was excellently written. It perfectly expresses the feelings we all share.

  5. Dear Susan

You CANNOT be excommunicated for attending the TM even when you attend it when offered by the SSPX.

    God Bless

  6. Not the Church, Evangeline, but wicked men. We can NEVER separate ourselves from the Bride of Christ. I will never stop attending Mass even if I have to attend a reverent Novus Ordo which I do for daily Mass most of the time since the TLM is not offered every day in my area and is a distance to those parishes that offer it once or twice a week.

Jesus promised not to leave us orphans. The NO is valid and we receive the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ in the Eucharist when we attend. The TLM will go on. I am blessed to have an SSPX chapel nearby and will continue to attend there since ALL the sacraments are available in the ancient form.

Let us pray the pope will be unsuccessful in imposing his tyrannical decree. I think it is a bridge too far that many clergy will oppose. Is what he did canonically legal? Some canonists say no. The battle for the soul of the Church is on. That is not a bad thing. I have already seen people embrace the TLM who said they never would. God is bringing good out of the crisis.

  7. Traditionis Custodes (sick joke) is the exact equivalent of a "papal" decree that the four Gospels are no longer part of the New Testament.

  8. I have to do the same . . . I can never go back to the NO.
