Open Letter to Clergy about Masks and the Vax: Stick to the Faith, Father!

My nephew wrote a letter to his pastor
(printed below) after a sermon on September 12th excoriating parishioners for not wearing masks and not taking the "vaccine." The priest started out well comparing an attitude of selfishness to self-denial. But then he segued into the woke propaganda about COVID making mask-wearing and vaxing a moral imperative. He basically labeled those who don't mask and take the jab as enemies of the common good: selfish, only caring about themselves, unChristian, even evil. He told a story about bubonic plague where most of the citizens of a town stayed put rather than carry the plague to other regions and died.

Really! He compared a disease from which most recover, especially when they receive effective treatment, to the Black Death. He promoted irrational fear and condemned those who refuse useless masks or refuse to be part of a global experiment by taking a "vaccine" developed and/or tested by murdering babies!

Not one word criticizing government agents and the pharmaceutical firms which denied prophylactic and early treatment for the disease. Presumably they are the heroes who "care" and are absolved of any responsibility for adverse effects as they rake in millions from the COVID goldmine. Nope, no judgment for them -- just condemnation and labeling of those trying to protect themselves and their families from a global experiment devised by modern Dr. Mengeles.

Please pray for clergy who judge and condemn the faithful for daring to use their brains and be their own health advocates. This priest scandalized his parishioners under the guise of morality. He's no doubt sincere, but he's sincerely wrong! My mom always said the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Amen! If you want to listen to his sermon, go here. The homily begins around 29:00 and the segment on COVID begins around 36:00.

I congratulate my nephew on his beautiful, kind, and well-documented letter. As his godmother, I am edified and thank him for writing it. I'm afraid his message fell on deaf ears, and I won't embarrass the priest by printing his non-responsive reply, what I call a "John Warner" political letter. You may remember Warner as Elizabeth Taylor's husband who clearly married her to boost his name recognition and his letters were fit for nothing but the circular file! Please, Fathers, stop claiming prudential matters are intrinsic moral issues and stop already with the public shaming of the flock. That is certainly immoral and violates the common good of your parish!

Dear Father,

Saint Jean Marie Vianney cared for many souls during his time as the Cure d’Ars. He has many miracles of healing attributed to him. I believe in his humility, he, himself, refused recognition while he lived and credited Saint Philomena; whom he called his dear little saint. At one point, he asked her to stop, but then when the miracles stopped, he asked her again to help so that the people would believe. The story goes something like that. His concern for souls was vast. The health of the body is important, but like faith and works, without the health of the soul, the body seems lost.

Another story as told by Saint Jean Marie Vianney goes like this...
A child lay bedridden - one open sore from head to foot - with no moment of rest - no hope on this earth. “You are in great suffering, my poor child?” asked the cure, bending over him.
“No”, he answered; “today I do not feel yesterday’s pain, tomorrow I shall not feel today’s” “You would very much like to be cured?” “No; I was sinful before I fell ill; I might fall back into that. I am safer as I am.” And M. Vianney added: “Children so indwelt by the Holy Spirit put us to shame…”

“The cross is a ladder to heaven…” he said another time. “He who does not love the cross, may possibly be saved, but with great difficulty; he will be but a small star in the firmament. He who has suffered and fought for God will shine like a sun in beauty.”

Oh how we could all be like this child.

The reason for my letter today is in response to your homily delivered September 12, 2021, at the 9:30 am Mass. Like other homilies I’ve heard related to this group of readings, faith and works were central. But then you took a turn toward Covid, masks, and the “vaccines.” Some might call these the hot button issues of the day.

I suppose I am the kind of person you were talking about; angry and selfish, only concerned with my freedom and everyone else can fend for themselves. I don’t believe I am any of these things and your words concern me as they sound a bit like rash judgement. I can assure you that I am in no way angry. People can absolutely value their freedom and love their neighbors at the same time. In fact, I believe it is an act of charity to point out the truth to someone even when it might be difficult to do so and possibly not well received.

When it comes to the masks, we could debate for hours the efficacy, but here are my thoughts.

Masks are generally ineffective. Nobody is wearing the same one, they all fit differently, and they leak. All viruses are spread by aerosol particles that go right through these masks or bypass them altogether. The reason why the military won't let soldiers wear a beard is because their gas masks can't seal. That means certain death in the case of a chemical weapons attack.

Even in the air filter world, a HEPA filter only remains a HEPA filter if it is sealed in the application; whereby all the air goes through the filter. While wearing masks gives us a constant reminder that we are in a pandemic, it is not at all indicative of how much a person loves their neighbor. I’ve become concerned that all this turns into vain-glory.

Check out these statements from NIH-sponsored studies. There are lots of others and you can find evidence in both directions as far as I can tell. These are only some, but there is a list of 47 studies related to the ineffectiveness of masks and 32 more citing negative health effects. I’ve included the link at the end of this letter.

Jacobs, J. L. et al. (2009)

Conclusion: Face mask use in health care workers has not been demonstrated to provide benefit in terms of cold symptoms or getting colds. A larger study is needed to definitively establish noninferiority of no mask use.

Cowling, B. et al. (2010)

“In conclusion there remains a substantial gap in the scientific literature on the effectiveness of face masks to reduce transmission of influenza virus infection. While there is some experimental evidence that masks should be able to reduce infectiousness under controlled conditions [7], there is less evidence on whether this translates to effectiveness in natural settings.”

F bin-Reza et al. (2012)

“The review concluded that there was a limited evidence base to support the use of masks and/or respirators in healthcare or community settings as protection against influenza infection. The review was generally well conducted, and although the evidence was limited and of poor quality, the authors' conclusions were appropriately cautious and can be considered reliable.”

Smith, J.D. et al. (2016)

“No significant difference in risk of laboratory-confirmed respiratory infection was detected between health care workers using N95 respirators and those using surgical masks in the meta-analysis of the RCTs (Randomized controlled trials)”

Long, Y. et al. (2020)

In Long’s study they found:

“A total of six RCTs (randomized controlled trial) involving 9,171 participants were included. There were no statistically significant differences in preventing laboratory-confirmed influenza, laboratory-confirmed respiratory viral infections, laboratory-confirmed respiratory infection, and influenza-like illness using N95 respirators and surgical masks. The use of N95 respirators compared with surgical masks is not associated with a lower risk of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”

By your tone, you seem disappointed in and ashamed of people who haven’t and don’t want the Covid vaccine. I was left wondering if I was supposed to feel like I wasn’t truly a follower of Christ if I didn’t take it. I think we could both benefit from Ecclus xi.7 and John vii.24. (Lord help us with your grace.)

There are many reasons for not participating with these pharmaceutical companies, governments, and apparently churches pushing the shots on a universal level. Here are three reasons other than a pre-existing medical condition (which a lot of these are being dismissed too, sadly) that someone may not want the shot.

Covid has a very high survivability rate; 98-99% (age dependent). And recovered people have natural immunity.

These vaccines all were developed or tested utilizing portions of the bodies of children killed by abortion, kept alive against their will to be continually used in experimentation.

There are an incredible amount of side effects, adverse reactions, and deaths being counted during a short period of time after the shots are administered.

I’ll touch on each of these…

First, after over 18 months of this pandemic, we’ve learned that the virus is very comparable to the influenza viruses that inflict mankind every year. Of course, nobody wants anyone else to be sick. And nobody wants to be sick themselves. The information being spread about the virus seems rooted in spreading fear and discontent. A lot of the data being shared is suspect. There are countless examples of case counts being inflated and deaths being attributed to Covid when, in fact, they were likely not connected at all.

The most recent example of egregious fear mongering I can think of happens to be a video meeting taking place at a hospital in North Carolina. A discussion is being had about how to increase fear among the public in order to increase vaccination rates, and how to keep Covid hospitalization counts high by continuing to count people who’ve recovered from covid but remain in the hospital for other reasons. The woman in the video can be heard suggesting that they begin telling people that if they don’t get the vaccine they will surely die. How awful.

That being said, the treatments available for Covid are being largely ignored. Early treatment used to be the rule, but with Covid, the opposite has been put into practice and they call it protocol. I learned this first hand when I was sent home from the hospital without treatment. They told me to return if I had trouble breathing. Really. Nonetheless, I went home and treated myself and my wife concurrently. Even our two daughters became sick.

Hospitals continue to wait until people are critical and put them on ventilators and many of them die. Is it the disease or the ventilator? The survivability is very low once you are put on the ventilator. But, there are treatments that work. Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, high-dose intravenous vitamin-C (to name a few), are all proven treatments. We even have monoclonal antibody treatments as well, but this has been ignored by most doctors and hospitals. We don’t need a vaccine for something that is treatable.

A little known detail about the emergency use authorization for the vaccine... if a treatment exists for the disease, the EUA may not be issued. Well that would have been a huge blow to the wallets of Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson wouldn’t it? We’ve been deceived so much; it’s no doubt that people don’t trust. But that’s ok, we need to turn to God and put our trust there instead.

Second, the practice of abortion is objective evil, abhorrent, and citation of the common good becomes an excuse to participate in and cooperate with pure evil. It doesn’t matter if it's one child or many. Every child murdered by abortion is a poor soul robbed of valuable time with their body. A Catholic should not take these shots once they learn of the connection to abortion. All of the three shots available within the United States are tainted.

Johnson & Johnson/Janssen: Fetal cell cultures are used to produce and manufacture the J&J COVID-19 vaccine and the final formulation of this vaccine includes residual amounts of the fetal host cell proteins (≤0.15 mcg) and/or host cell DNA (≤3 ng)

Pfizer/BioNTech: The HEK-293 abortion-related cell line was used in research related to the development of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. [The CDC admits this.]

The specific cell line used in the Covid vaccine is HEK-293. That stands for Human Embryonic Kidney. The number stands for the number of experiments the researcher used to create the cell line. That number of experiments certainly required more than "one" aborted child according to the doctor in the video. Please watch the video in the footnote. 1

Furthermore, in order to gather cells for use in experimentation, they need to be living cells; “harvested” from living children against their will and kept alive. That means that the bodies of these children are repeatedly abused over and over and over again. We are not to murder. We are not to promote the cult of the body and sacrifice everything

for its sake. Promoting the use of this vaccine is a direct contradiction to the Catechism in paragraphs 2270-2273, paragraph 2289, and paragraph 2296. 2, 3

Moderna/NIAID: Aborted fetal cell lines were used in both the development and testing of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine.

See also, “Note on the morality of using some anti-Covid-19 vaccines,” CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH, December 21, 2020:https://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20201221_nota-vaccini-anticovid_en.html

While this document implies that the vaccines may be used without moral endorsement of the practice of aborting children, it points out that vaccination is not, as a rule, a moral obligation and, therefore, must be voluntary. This document dates back to December 2020 and we are now fully aware of working treatments for the disease, so we must not participate. The Vatican really needs to release an updated statement by my assessment. Souls are at stake.

Also see https://www.livefatima.io/: “The crime of abortion is so monstrous that any kind of concatenation with this crime, even a very remote one, is immoral and cannot be accepted under any circumstances by a Catholic once he has become fully aware of it. One who uses these vaccines must realize that his body is benefitting from the “fruits” (although steps removed through a series of chemical processes) of one of mankind’s greatest crimes. Any link to the abortion process, even the most remote and implicit, will cast a shadow over the Church’s duty to bear unwavering witness to the truth that abortion must be utterly rejected. The ends cannot justify the means.”

All of these vaccines are laced with immorality and we should turn our backs on them else the atrocity of abortion continues forever. Abortion is the gravest of sins. I dare say that it IS the gravest of mortal sins to take the life of the most innocent among us! If taking this vaccine is morally acceptable, how about we Americans wait to receive our vaccine or booster until all those in less fortunate countries get theirs first? That would align with the corporal works of mercy I think.

Third, the number of deaths and adverse effects that have been reported after the use of these shots is unprecedented in our country's history. According to some doctors, based on the number of reports, the vaccines should have already been pulled from the market.

The database I’m referring to is called the VAERS database. It is administrated by the CDC and, as I understand it, is supposed to flag issues for further investigation. As far as I know, it seems to be being ignored as I am only aware of one investigation related to the Moderna vaccine related to this data.

As of September 3, 2021, there have been 675,591 reports entered into the database. These include deaths and adverse reactions following a Covid vaccine alone. Of these entries, 14,506 deaths, 58,440 hospitalizations, 77,919 urgent care, 106,184 doctor’s office visits, 5,783 cases of anaphylaxis, 7,911 cases of bell's palsy, 6,422 heart attacks, 5,371 myocarditis/pericarditis, 1,757 miscarriages, 2,910 thrombocytopenia/low platelet count… the list goes on.

The risk of contracting Covid depends largely on your exposure to other people. Since people are the source of the illness, the idea of distancing is sound, except the 6 foot rule which isn’t based on anything substantial as far as I can tell. We know that a sneeze can travel 30+ feet, so we’re to believe that simply breathing exhibits substantial risk. I think not. Earlier in the pandemic a meme was
circulating that stated something like, “assume everyone has it.” How irrational can we be? Clearly not everyone has it. In fact, most people don’t. I moved about freely without a mask for 17 months before I got it. And by a stroke of luck (if we can call it that) I know exactly who I caught it from. Clearly I wasn’t sick during the time leading up to my infection so the idea that I could have been a super spreader becomes ridiculous.

Pushing this shot is dangerous to people. They need to be informed of the risks and they are not. They need to know the risk to their souls and they don’t.

Finally, the diocesan website is promoting the vaccine based upon public safety and an act of charity toward your neighbor. There is far from compelling evidence that this vaccine is even necessary, let alone that not taking it is an act of indifference or negligence toward your neighbor. It is not necessary to vaccinate against diseases that are treatable. This vaccine is akin to vaccinating against chickenpox (another tainted vaccine). Some people are now saying that the Covid vaccines were never meant to prevent the disease. That is a lie. Both the Moderna and the Pfizer fact sheets both say “prevent.” Verbatim, Moderna’s fact sheet says, “...for active immunization to prevent Covid-19 in individuals…” The message changed once it became obvious that the vaccines aren’t working as intended. Or maybe they are. How many booster shots are we willing to take? As of about 4 days ago, there are even scientists working for the FDA coming out now saying that there is insufficient evidence to support boosters and they shouldn't be given to the general public yet.

I pray for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Saints. I pray for all those led astray by lukewarm Catholics. I pray for my children who must endure the evil running rampant in our world today and those who choose to ignore it. I continue to pray and hope and love. I am praying for you too. Please do not send people down this very dangerous road. Many souls will be lost to the fires of hell. Saint Michael, defend us!

Sincerely,

Steve Schneider

  1. Great letter. But probably will not even be read by the 'woke' priest, sadly.

  3. Beautiful letter by your god-son. God keep him and his family.

Mary Ann, one point needs to be made and that is monoclonal antibodies are manufactured using fetal body parts. As I understand it the cannibalization of those children is not even that remote. Your nephew must research and not encourage the use of those products.

  4. Red Feather, I wasn't aware of that. Thank you. I'll do my research.

  5. Echoing comment on monoclonal antibodies, I even see Dr Mangat affiliating with truth for health alliance to distribute monoclonal antibodies *through churches*. We must get the straight story right away.
