Stupid Is As Stupid Does: Analysis of the Bud Light Debacle!

Kevin O'Leary explains how the Bud Light brand has been decimated! "Bud Light has become the poster boy for brand mismanagement."

What now? "It's a beer with a sordid past....How do you reestablish that brand?" Will they recover? Probably in time. After all, Pampers recovered from supporting Planned Parenthood decades ago. Today they don't, although their parent company, Proctor and Gamble does indirectly. [Source]

Let's hope the idiot CEOs across the board learn from the Bud Light debacle and just stay out of politics. What made Dylan Mulvaney a sensible spokesman for Bud Light? How about for Nike or Maybelline? All these stupid CEOs choose to alienate a large portion of their base. Heads rolled over the Bud Light disaster. Let's hope other companies take the example and learn from it.

According to Kevin O'Leary, "The lesson learned and what everybody should think about in every consumer product category, when you take polarized positions on any narrative, you are going to alienate 50% percent of your consumers 100% of the time."

Yup! I never drank a Bud Light, but I'll never buy another Maybelline product or buy anything from Nike.

One positive result from the Bud Light fiasco is that trans "influencers," i.e., propagandists are getting fewer offers to stut their stuff. [Source] Let's celebrate that and pray that all people with an ounce of intelligence join the boycotts. They're after our kids and every ad promoting their sick lifestyle threatens our kids by making it look normal, exciting, and good. Let's not support their sick advertising! Make the woke companies that engage in trans propaganda feel the pain!

  2. The lesson that should be learned here is that the people running these companies hate you. They hate normal people. And no matter how many flags they slap on their beer bottles or commercials they make with white people square dancing they're just doing it to manipulate you, they still hate you. Do not consume their product. Which means you have to be discerning because inbev controls a wide swath of the industry including a lot of microbrews. Perhaps it's a good time to think about being sober.

    1. Probably it's time to homenade beer, and to return to a barter economy. These companies make that, checking the boxes for the upcoming wefagenda, You own nothing and be happy.

  3. There is some interest or group of interests trying to kill American future. It's been happening for the longest time. The way to understand what I am trying to say is to look at China. After 40 years of skyrocketing growth China is about to acquire the proverbial six footer plot of land. By 2030 China will be a country of old people without enough young ones to work in the manufacturing base. Their population most likely peaked 10 years ago. By the end of this decade it will be reduced to less than 700 million. Mao and Malthus did it. The one child policy was their poison of choice.
It would be nice if our Bishops could present the case for family, flag, mom, apple pie and lots of kids. The data does not suggest, it screams: "Overpopulation is a myth, Malthus was wrong, Marx was a fool, and Mao shot China dead with his simplistic ideas." If there is one Liberal walking this planet 10 years from now that poor chap is going to be the last of his species.
Growing population = growing economy = growing families. The rest is sales, no marketing really needed. Learn that, Bud.

  4. For 10 years, ever since Ellen DeGeneres was their spokesperson, I never bought Cover Girl products and never will again. Same now with Maybelline. Proctor & Gamble (Cover Girl) and L'Oreal (Maybelline) don't care about my few dollars but I care.

  5. see LA Dodgers. My dad was a lifelong fan from their Brooklyn days and passed that along to me. Now they can have that grotesque satanic group of demon "men" ( I won't mention their disgusting, perverse group name) take my place. What would the former owner O'Malleys, Tommy Lasorda, Vin Scully think? So long Dodgers. I had to flee your state, now I have to flee you!!

  6. As a child of the 1970s and early 1980s I am old enough to remember girls that were "tomboyish" in grade school that would play sports with us. By the time senior year of high school rolled around (okay I am a guy - wasn't dead) some of them were the most beautiful (and feminine) girls in high school. While I don't have a daughter I have heard (particularly from a buddy of mine who has three daughters) that within the past few years several younger women (even grade school
age like 7, 8 or 9) are afraid to show a "tomboyish" spirit, even if they are athletic, or they just like football. The girls are afraid to get "labeled".
