I had the great pleasure of having lunch with Frank several years ago when I visited my blog partner, Susan, in Florida. What a dedicated Catholic. May God return him to us soon to continue his defense of the Catholic faith.
Our Lady, Health of the Sick, intercede for Frank.
Ok my world is rocked. Please God...return him to full health. Fr nix in your kindness give us updates. Prayers will go up. Oh Lord your power be revealed amen. We're heartsick.
ReplyDeleteThe homily today was upon the importance of keeping the future moment of our death firmly fixed in our mind. The only moment that matters in life is the final moment. And by then, amendment is almost certainly too late.
ReplyDeleteEverything we do in life is irrelevant, or worse, if it is not oriented toward lifting the soul toward God and laying aside “treasure for heaven where moth and dust do not corrupt …” (Matt 6:19-21; from the Sermon on the Mount). When the moment of passing comes, as it does for us all, all of our memories of activities, no matter how important we thought them at the time, are just shadows and dust - except that which will last forever in heaven.
I will certainly pray for Frank Walker, who I see as a happy warrior. And I will pray for his wife, that she is able to keep him safe until discharge. May his work be fruitful in leading souls to Christ in this world of sin and confusion.
So sorry - my prayers are w/him and his family.
ReplyDeleteGood point, Aqua. Pray for Franks wife that she can keep him safe, lest he go the way of George Neumayr.
ReplyDeleteSome would love to see him gone .
We will do a rosary pilgrimage tonight for his intentions.
ReplyDeleteGod bless
