Sunday Meditation: Worship Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar

Catholics, we need to take to the streets all over this country to witness to our Lord and Savior. Thanks be to God for this beautiful example of faith. May it be repeated everywhere!

Photos of the Eucharistic Procession through the streets of New York City on October 10th

Eucharistic Processions are often part of the celebration of the feast of Corpus Christi. Here's a video of Eucharistic Processions in 2022 on the feast. They represent countries all over the world.

To me, Jesus in the Eucharist is his real body at the second cell division. Most hosts have a cross which separates the host into four section This looks very much like the fertilized ovum which explodes into life. Jesus in the host has united Himself to the littlest and weakest of us, the babe in the womb. May we all love and honor Him!

May Jesus Christ be praised now and forever!

  1. Worshiping Jesus or using the blessed sacrament to parade the power of opus dei? Or as Frank Walker puts it "Creepy Americamag promotes the neocon Napa Inst NYC Eucharistic procession"

  2. Mr Anonymous:

Were there any banners or signs proclaiming this to be an Opus Dei or Napa procession?

Even if Opus Dei or Napa promoted this effort is not the procession in itself a good thing?

    God bless

  3. Mary Ann,

What is the actual purpose of this parade? Are people on the (heathen, mostly) streets of New York inspired to learn more about Catholicism after experiencing the parade?

Not trying to be a smart-aleck here, just interested. And your site was the first mention I have seen.

  4. I'm presuming you are not Catholic, Milton. A Eucharistic Procession is to give praise and honor to God. Think of a ticker tape parade for a war hero or a parade honoring the leader of a country. Just as we honor men with parades, the Eucharistic Procession takes Jesus Christ, who is really present in the Holy Eucharist, into the public square acknowledging Him as the Lord of all creation and the King of Kings. He came for all of us and gave every drop of His blood to redeem us, but how many don't know Him?

When I was a little girl, Eucharistic Processions were common. It is a powerful witness to take Jesus into the streets. He is not just for Catholics, but is for everyone and loves everyone, but how can people know Him if they never see Him?

I've added to the post. Thanks for your question.

  5. If it was an Opus Dei march, it was a magnificent failure--I doubt anyone but Frank Walker has come up with that idea as the motive

  6. From the Napa Institute - Future Christ Cathedral (watch this and see if you understand why Napa approached the bishop about buying this monstrosity B4 it went on sale)

Schuller died peacefully, early on the morning of April 2, 2015 at a nursing facility in Artesia, California, aged 88. His funeral was held at Christ Cathedral, the former campus of the Crystal Cathedral. He is interred next to his wife at the Christ Cathedral Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Garden Grove, California.[38][39][40]

"We’re in the business of business, and we should stay that way. While the teams I co-own don’t always steer clear of politics, my message to the Dodgers and every sports team and business is still simple: This is a losing game that will cost you dearly for decades to come…" [See the important thing here is it "will cost you dearly" or money not morality. Francis is costing opus dei money and power so they are pretending they want to get rid of him for "traditional" reasons. But their 'tradition' only goes back to Benedict XVI--TWO forms of the Latin rite, modernism and tradition side by side (do your own thing). They are modernists (or liars/hypocrites) just like Francis and the pharisees of old. Like Fr. Z always directs: they say the black (profess one thing) and do the red.]
