Are We Living in the Matrix? The Con in the Conservative Movement

Conservative or Conman?
Some days I wake up feeling like we're all living in the Matrix. How much of what we read in the press is real? How much is manipulation? Who are the movers and shakers doing their best to exercise mind control over the masses? How many of the violent protesters on campus these days are really students at the universities and how many are paid puppets recruited by mob organizers. Who can we trust to tell us the truth? What is the truth anyway, like Pilate asked?

This morning I read an article about William Buckley at Lew Rockwell.

The Phony Legacy of William F. Buckley, Jr.

I never liked Buckley. He always came across to me as a pompous blowhard. We took National Review for awhile, but it became obvious it was run by neocons whose conservatism was as phony as the red nose on a clown. Many of its writers are warmongering elitists. No regrets over cancelling that rag.

The Charles Burris article at Rockwell accuses Buckley of creating a fake conservative movement instigated by the CIA. In fact, he alleges that National Review from the beginning was controlled by the CIA. In view of our own experiences these days with the CIA and FBI as well as many of the other alphabet soup organization run by Big Brother, manipulation certainly appears to be the name of the game.

Burris closes his article with a question:

Why not come clean about National Review?...
Buckley was outed as a CIA operative by former CIA agent William Sloane Coffin (Skull and Bones 1949). Coffin was a long-time colleague of George H. W. Bush (Skull and Bones 1948) when they both attended Phillips Andover Academy and later Yale together.

Former CIA Director Bush later presented Buckley the Presidential Medal of Freedom....Buckley subsequently created his famous fictional character of CIA agent Blackford Oakes....

Buckley’s entire life as America’s premier “conservative” public intellectual was sheer fiction based on lies and deception. And so has been the Frankenstein movement he created for his intelligence community masters.

I can't call reading this article a red pill moment for me since I was never a fan of William F. Buckley and never trusted him. Just because someone wears the veneer of being conservative or orthodox, doesn't mean he is. We've seen enough betrayal even from the pope to shatter that illusion.

Makes you wonder, though. How much of the current unrest around the world is being manipulated to lead us to the reality of the U.N.'s Agenda 30 global plan. While I haven't read the entire document...yet...even its beginning sets alarm bells clanging. Here's just one of their "determinations" as godlike masters over us:

We are determined to mobilize the means required to implement this Agenda through a revitalized  Global  Partnership for Sustainable Development, based on a spirit of strengthened global solidarity, focused in particular on the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable and with the participation of all countries, all stakeholders and all people.

The interlinkages and integrated nature of the Sustainable Development Goals are of crucial importance in ensuring that the purpose of the new Agenda is realized. If we realize our ambitions across the full extent of the Agenda, the lives of all will be profoundly improved and our world will be+ ransformed for the better.

What a joke! The U.N. cares about the "poorest and most vulnerable?" Right! Like the babies in the womb targeted by their policies.

Lucifer speaks through this document with the same pride he used to tempt Adam and Eve. You will be like gods. We will make of the globe a heaven created in our image and likeness. In reality, they are working toward creating a hell where the masses will serve their masters. If you want to understand the U.N. read That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis. The U.N. is the real-life evil bureaucracy of that book.

But we must never lose hope and the fact is that the evil institution crumbles. The grace of God can never be defeated by Lucifer and his angels of darkness. Pray the rosary, keep the faith, defend the truth and never lose hope. God wins!

  1. What about Rush Limbaugh? He was enamoured with Buckley as I recall.

There was always something about Buckley that bothered me and it seemed odd that lots of conservatives paid continuous homage to Buckley when I couldn't see why he deserved it. But there they were always holding him out as the great conservative example. It was like saying "safe and effective" over and over. Say it enough and people believe it.

I think a lot of people used "conservative " politics to form their religious views or even to substitute for their faith. It seems to me faith and the Church's teachings come first.

  2. I can remember my parents discussing their thourough dislike of Buckley and his friend Bush. That was thirty years ago. I never liked him, probably because of those conversations my parents had. And I agree that we really don't know who is stirring the various pots that our political system and the WEF are inventing for our 'betterment'. I just try to ignore them for the most part.

  3. Buckley revealed what kind of "conservative", and Catholic he was by his treatment of Joe Sobran. He was a deep state shill, and "defined conservatism" for people who didn't know better and rely on the media to tell them who to listen to and what to think. I never learned anything about the "Old Right" conservatives until I was in my 40's, shamefully.

  6. Once the public realizes that we do not truly have two opposing parties, but instead two that pretend to be opposed, we will then have change.
Think of our state of politics like a Harlem Globetrotters game. It sure looks like a game between two teams, each truing to win.
    Republicans are the Washington Generals!

  7. A quote from Vladimir Lenin, “The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”. E. Michael Jones has been talking about Buckley being a CIA plant to steer the old America first movement into the new “C”onservative movement for sometime. I quote the “C” to distinguish a political movement rather than people with conservative values. And the results are a multitude of foreign wars, foreign entanglements, and big profits to the military industrial complex (who are all indirecty owned based on stock shares by the same big 3 investment companies; go to yahoo finance and search for the largest institutional owners for all the MIC, heck for the fun of it check out Coca Cola vs Pepsi Cola who are supposed to be competitors). The National Review shaped America’s thought and it was a CIA operation from the start. It’s no different than The Daily Wire; ask Candace Owens. Or Breitbart for that matter. These operations will give the meat and potatoes of everyday conservatism seemingly following The Natural Law or Christian morality with their faithful readership in tow until certain events come into play that are really neoconservative in nature. Then “bam” they go off the rails propagandizing in sync saying America must attack because they have “weapons of mass destruction” or “we have to fight them there so we don’t have to fight them here”, etc. so then it’s ok innocent women and children have been killed en mass because the word smiths of these operations who have endeared themselves to us all this time gave a coherent “homily”as to why such and such must be done. The National Review, The Daily Wire, Breitbart and many others are just controlled opposition. And like what the earlier poster wrote, they define for us what is “conservative” and what is not. What do we do? Follow Christ and the traditional teachings of the one true Church he founded on the rock of Peter, The Catholic Church. (I say traditional teachings because I am sorry to say that Christ does not will the plurality of all religions, or allows for other mortal sins to now be ok including those that cry out for vengeance, etc). Only then will one be able to see through the muck and fog that the diabolical has put upon us. Trust in Him, not man. KevinInFL
