The Gun Control Faction Uses Charlie Kirk Murder to Push Their Agenda!

I fully expected it. 

The House Democrats hardly waited for a moment of silence to end honoring murder victim Turning Point USA president Charlie Kirk before they started hollering for gun control. That was after they shouted, "NO!" when Rep. Lauren Boebert called for a spoken prayer. How many leftists ridiculed prayer just days ago after the children were murdered in Minnesota? Remember when they nixed mentioning God in their party platform? Like columnist Joe Sobran always said, Democrats are the "evil party." They own that distinction more today than ever!

Their mantra is gun control. As if would-be murderers would respect gun laws and can't get access to guns... or knives like the Charlotte subway killer, DeCarlos Brown. 

Conservative economics and history professor and columnist Thomas Sowell stopped speaking on college campuses years ago because of the increasing intolerance and violence toward conservatives. Remember when they shouted down Ann Coulter at Berkeley. No free speech for the folks leftists don't want to hear including their own students. College campuses have become ivory towers of leftist discrimination and mind control where conservatives, both professors and students, are persecuted and gagged. Thomas Sowell's essays are well worth reading, especially one called The Fatal Fallacy of Gun Control.

The New York Times can be credited — if that is the word — with performing this public service in a recent editorial against proposals to allow law-abiding citizens to carry concealed guns. They refer to what they call the National Rifle Association’s “fantasy that citizens can stand up to gunmen by shooting it out.”

Nobody has suggested any such thing. Data collected over many years — but almost never seeing the light of day in the New York Times or the rest of the mainstream media — show many thousands of examples of people defending themselves with a gun each year, without having to pull the trigger.

If someone comes at you with a knife and you pull out a gun, chances are they will stop. The only time I ever pointed a gun at a human being, it was when someone was sneaking up toward me from behind a shed in the middle of the night. I never fired a shot. I just pointed the gun at him and told him to stop. He stopped.

Actually having to shoot someone is the exception, not the rule. Yet the New York Times conjures up a vision of something like the gunfight at the OK Corral.

Concealed guns protect not only those who carry them but also those who do not. If concealed guns become widespread, then a mugger or a car jacker has no way of knowing who has one and who does not. It makes being a mugger or a car jacker a less safe occupation. Gun control laws are in effect occupational safety laws — OSHA for burglars, muggers, car jackers and others. [Read the rest.]

Yup! Well said, Professor Sowell. 

Frankly, I hope that every Christian church in the country has armed parishioners in the pews. Christians are more and more the target of violence. Military or police with guns could stop a would-be killer from amassing a massive body count during religious services.

And what is fueling the increase in violence? Hateful rhetoric calling for confrontation and physically and verbally assaulting conservatives. We hear it from Democrat politicians frequently. "We're coming for you." "We know where you live." The shooting at the ball field? The Butler assassination attempt on Trump? No one who disagrees with the liberal establishment is safe from their hate.

Don't get me wrong. Not all liberals are so extreme they call for and celebrate violence, but a significant number in positions of influence in the media, in politics, in business....aim the most inflammatory rhetoric at people with whom they disagree. Democrats and their unhinged allies in the media constantly beat the drum that all conservatives are fascists like Adolph Hitler. What's the presumption from that? Killing them is a service "to save democracy." Yeah, right! Even now, leftists are celebrating Charlie Kirk's assassination.

And don't forget the hatred fomented against whites who are labeled as recipients of white privilege and all racists. The killer in Charlotte walked around the subway car with blood dripping from his knife saying, "I got that white girl; I got that white girl."

We are clearly living in the age of diabolical disorientation. The answer is to double up on prayer and sacrifice while the left screams "No prayer!" They can't stop us.

I never entertained the thought that I might actually see martyrdom until recently. With all the attacks on churches, I think it is a real possibility. Will I stop going to church out of fear. No! I will never be intimidated by the demons. The worst they can do is kill you. In that event I will stand before the judgment seat of God and say, "You died first, Jesus. I followed in your footsteps." Pray for peace and for all those who are either mentally ill, possessed, or just plain evil. Pray that they will be touched by the grace of God and repent before it's too late. Eternity in hell is a very long time.
