Conservative columnist Joe Sobran used to call the Democrats the "evil party" and the Republicans the "stupid party." If you know the policies of the Democrats, it's hard to claim they aren't evil as a party. Their policies and strategies make me think of the Bolsheviks of the 1917 Russian revolution and the Committee of Public Safety during the French Revolution. Both parties engaged in a reign of terror and murdered millions of people. But their murderous activities began by instigating mob violence. Isn't that what we are seeing from the Democrat party? They encouraged and enabled the 2020 riots. Their violent rhetoric continues to encourage attacks on law enforcement personnel and MAGA supporters. It's not surprising because they have for decades championed murder of the innocent. If you can kill the baby in the womb, you can justify any evil!

Here's their agenda today, fought for on the House and Senate floors and in their media press conferences aided and abetted by the mainstream media:

• killing babies in the womb for any reason or no reason
• castrating and giving puberty blockers to children even before they hit double digits in age
• celebrating sodomy and participating in Pride parades where nudity and public sex acts take place 
• working to make sure biological men can compete against women in sports denying them scholarship opportunities and awards
• defending criminals and working for their release with no bail legislation [Remember the revolving door for Minnesota rioters in 2020 enabled by Kamala Harris.]
• booing God at their convention and opposing and even ridiculing prayer
• demanding all their members walk in lockstep supporting the agenda [Remember how Governor of Pennsylvania Bob Casey was not allowed to speak at the 1992 DNC convention because he was pro-life.]

I could go on. There is ample evidence that the Democrat Party fits in the same category as other genocidal and violent regimes throughout history. That does not mean that every Democrat is a murderous tyrant who wants to guillotine people. But the party's tactics are evil. Instructing their followers to harass their political opponents whenever they see them: at restaurants, movie theaters, and any other venue where they find them. Those are mob tactics reminiscent of other tyrannical regimes. 

So that's the evil part of the Democrat party. 

But Democrats are increasingly demonstrating rank stupidity as well. The latest idiocy is shown by Kamala Harris and her book. I doubt I'll read it, but I've seen the media reports with quotes about her attacks on many of her Democrat allies. Can she possibly think that will win her a place on any Democrat ticket? Of course, she's only one Democrat, but think of the deliberate undermining of Bernie Sanders during the 2016 primary campaign. The Clinton brigade made sure he would never make it to the election. That's a great way to trigger internecine warfare. And there are plenty of signs that party unity is slipping.

Then there is the relentless attack on Charlie Kirk and the celebration of his death. Have we ever seen that when Democrats are attacked? Were Republicans dancing in the streets when Gabby Giffords was shot? Did they rejoice when Melissa Hortman and her husband were brutally murdered a few months ago? The fact is that celebrating the assassination of a political opponent is stupid. It cannot win any friends; rather it alienates every decent-minded citizen. And in the case of Charlie Kirk, who was beloved by millions as demonstrated by the worldwide rallies celebrating his life, the only thing their jubilation can do is antagonize and outrage. Over 50,000 people have contacted Turning Point USA asking how to start a chapter in their schools or how to join one. The future belongs to the young and young people are rallying to Charlie Kirk like never before. 

The Democrats in the past few decades have depended on lies and hate-filled rhetoric to defeat their adversaries. They've been successful at spreading lies because they owned the drive-by media. But even that is changing. Rush Limbaugh had a tremendous impact. Some described him as the "mouth that roared." He never ran from a fight and ignored the Left when they called him a divisive hate-monger. As one commentator said, "He made conservatism fun." And he urged his listeners to fight the Left. Charlie Kirk was another conservative powerhouse. He had to be silenced.

One of the dumbest thing I've heard from the Left is Jasmine Crocket saying committing a crime doesn't make you a criminal. I guess that explains how the Left can turn career criminals, including rapists and murderers, into heroes. Crocket also enraged the mother of Kayla Hamilton when she criticized Republicans and referred to them using "a random dead person," for political gain. 

The irony is that Democrats use every death of a black criminal killed by a white officer and exploit it and in some cases even call black officers racists. They ignore whites killed by blacks and black on black crime because it doesn't advance their agenda. That's what they did with George Floyd and Michael Brown. They also ignore and even champion criminal illegal aliens whom they've welcomed into the country through open borders. Victims of their crimes are ignored.

Think about these Democrats: AOC, Jasmine Crocket, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, Gavin Newsom. Do any of them bring a smile to your face? They are angry liberals whose mantra is that all their adversaries are racists, sexists, terrorists, misogynists, homophobes, fascists, and enemies of democracy. The truth is that the Democrats are guilty of every accusation they make against others. 

We may not imitate them!

Our response must be to fight - yes!, to speak the truth without animosity, and to pray for their conversion. I know of so many abortionists and pro-abortion individuals who converted. I worked with other pro-lifers sidewalk counseling and at crisis pregnancy centers who helped women get abortions, repented, and joined the ranks of baby savers instead of baby killers. Abby Johnson, Dr. Bernard Nathanson, Carol Everett, Dr. John Bruchalski, and many others -- they all abandoned the culture of death and became witnesses for life.

 Everyone can be saved. Let us never hate our adversaries but do good to those who hate us. The best good we can do is to pray and sacrifice for them. Let's do it!
