Fellow Trinity Alumna, Kathleen Sebelius, Holds a Pity Party for her "Painful" State

Catholic HHS Secretary Sebelius Says Being Prohibited from Communion "Painful" - Archbishop Naumann Responds

Actions have consequences. Perhaps Kathleen's mommy never taught her that. Kathleen would have been a freshman at Trinity College in Washington, D.C. when I was a senior. I would like to say that Kathleen got a solid Catholic education there, but Trinity was already sinking into the slough of moral relativism and pop Catholicism in the late 60s. I left Trinity scandalized and, to my shame, stopped practicing the faith for a time because of it and my own bad decisions.

Today Trinity, with its gay pride club and Halleluia Chorus for Kathleen, Nancy Pelosi, and other high profile pro-abort alumnae, rings the death knell for any true faith on campus. Oh, they may still have Mass, but the real agenda is girl-power and they have a track record of producing high-profile, pro-abortion democrats. (Hillary Clinton's chief of staff, Maggie Williams, was also a Trinity grad.)

Kathleen Sebelius postures as the poor little "victim" of the big bad archbishop. In doing so she merely reflects the result of scandal combined with ambition and rationalization. Archbishop Naumanm is a doctor of the soul who has administered the bad-tasting medicine that offers a cure. Will she take it? Or will Kathleen listen to the quacks and ear-ticklers trying to convince her the growing cancer won't kill in the end.

Pray for Kathleen Sebelius and for her spiritual father, Archbishop Naumann. Thank God for a bishop who speaks the truth in charity for the salvation of souls.

  1. Marymount in Arlington is another cesspool.

  2. The mystery here is, why doesn't Kathleen Sebelius change her religion? I don't understand why she WANTS to be a member of the Catholic Church.

  3. I see your membership in the Catholic Church has made you a more intelligent, compassionate person.

  4. Do I detect a note of sarcasm? Or did you write this like the Walrus and Carpenter with your handkerchief out?

What exactly is compassion? Does it encompass tearing babies limb from limb?

Is it charity toward Kathleen and Nancy to cheer them on as they commit sinful scandals that can send them to hell? Strange compassion indeed.
