Nabi Sayeth: All That Glisters Is Not Gold! Will ANOTHER Program Really Solve the Problem?

Protecting children begins in the womb!
Nabi Sayeth: In light of the horrible scandal facing our beloved Catholic Church, many of the laity will receive a recent announcement from a Catholic institution in Rome with optimism if not relief:
ROME — The Center for Child Protection (CCP), part of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, has started the first semester in the new two-year licentiate master’s degree to combat and prevent child abuse.
“We need to spell out that the center of attention of the Church needs to be the protection of the most vulnerable, and among them are children,” Jesuit Father Hans Zollner, president of the Center for Child Protection and a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors, told the Register. “This is not an add-on. … This is an essential part of the Church’s ministry.”
“What we want to do is train trainers, that they pass on a dissemination of what they have received here [at CCP] on the ground in the local churches,” Father Zollner added.
The licentiate program was designed to build upon the five-month intensive “diploma” course that was launched in 2016, to practically explore and master the central elements in “safeguarding” through specializations in either education, canon law, theology and formation, or psychology and psychotherapy.
CCP has also initiated an e-learning program in six languages for those who are unable to travel to Rome; the online curriculum, completed in a group setting, has currently reached more than 1,500 people, with 50 partners in 30 countries.
The need is great. (by Rachel Lanz of the National Catholic Register)
Nabi Sayeth: My Friends before you get too excited, it is important to examine closely what this really means for the Catholic Church’s efforts to deal with the sexual abuse crisis.

Certainly, any effort to combat child sexual abuse can only help the Church. Right? YES and NO…

Yes, there is no question that we must all treasure and protect the most vulnerable members of the human family, children born and unborn. Jesus commands this of us:
Mark 10:13-16
13
And people were bringing children to him that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.
14
When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15
Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child* will not enter it.”
16
Then he embraced them and blessed them, placing his hands on them.

Mark 9:36-37
36
Taking a child he placed it in their midst, and putting his arms around it he said to them,
37 “Whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but the One who sent me.”
However, the answer is a resounding NO if “little children” are our exclusive focus.

We must remember that the vast majority of acts of sexual abuse against our young are HOMOSEXUAL acts committed against teen-aged and post-teen males….just over 86 percent!

In fact, for years the bishops of the U.S. have been misleading us by telling us that the problem is pedaphilia, pedaphilia, pediphila when they and their disgraced leader, former cardinal Theodore MCCarrick knew better!

Nabi Sayeth: We must deal with the facts. The sexual abuse of our young committed by clergymen of all stripes is primarily a HOMOSEXUAL problem that must be dealt with by using radical measures:
Eliminating homosexuals from ministry, period. No seminary can accept candidates who are homosexual, period.
Seminarians and young, priests need protection too -- from superiors
exercising their clerical muscle who have power over them! Remember what Bishop
Paul Loverde said to Fr. James Haley, "You have no idea what I can do to you!"
Educators must no longer fall into the contemporary trap of using, exclusively, COGNITIVE approaches to education as we have for the past 50 years.

Yes, we are creatures with brains/intellect, but we also possess a WILL.

A Ph.D, MA, BA OR ANY TYPE OF TRAINING CERTIFICATE DOES NOT A HOLY, FAITHFUL AND VIRTUOUS PERSON MAKE!

Nabi Sayeth: To defeat the enemy one must know the enemy….and if the vast majority of sins against our young are committed against older boys/young adults we had better devote significant resources in that direction. CONVERSION is the way to holiness and that means that clergymen must live the virtuous life, avoid the vices and depend less on a degree and more on God’s Grace.
