History as Judge?? Castro's Real Fate

Fidel Castro hand in hand
with Russian communist

Barack Obama, gave this public statement upon the recent death of communist dictator, Fidel Castro:
“We know that this moment fills Cubans - in Cuba and in the United States - with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation.  History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him.”

How Predator Priests Groom Their Victims: A Lesson for Parents!

Many Catholics believe the sex abuse scandals are a thing of the past. They aren't. A number of dioceses continue to coddle homosexual priests who maintain same-sex relationships, enjoy pornography, embezzle parish funds and are a real threat to the young. As recently as last Spring, a group of laity in Miami at St. Rose of Lima put together a dossier on their pastor, Fr. Pedro Corces, who was cavorting with his gay boyfriend and making changes at the school that concerned parents. He gave his boyfriend who had an extensive criminal background a maintenance job at the parish.

When they took their information to Bishop Thomas Wenski did he thank the parents? No, it was deja vu: attack the messengers! He excoriated the laity, conducted his own investigation, and exonerated the priest in early July although he asked him to resign as pastor. Interestingly, Corces was also vocations director from 1996-2006. Now who exactly do you think he was bringing into the seminaries? More about Fr. Corces here. I bring this up because the case below is an old one. But what happened to the family and the "grooming" techniques used to molest the children is as typical today as it was then. Find a vulnerable family, befriend them especially the young boys, take them on outings alone, and when the timing is right molest them. Sometimes the children are threatened not to tell and the abuse can go on for years. This case is heartbreaking, but things like this are still going on. And Wenski's behavior in Miami shows that the Child Protection Programs are, in many cases, a farce!

In Memory of Fr. Constantine Belisarius who entered into Eternal Life on November 27, 2016

I only met Fr. Belisarius a few times, but I was impressed and humbled when he encouraged me in my little writing apostolate. It was a personal blessing! Forgive me if I describe him as "well-rounded" which, with his long white beard and cheerful smile always made me think of St. Nicholas. How appropriate that this dear man went to the Lord on the first Sunday of Advent. I can imagine him on Christmas day filling our stockings with prayers and blessings as we muddle on in the Valley of Tears. The article after the break was sent as an email by one of my readers. I reprint it here with her permission and with gratitude. As I read it I was reminded of Yeats famous quotation, "The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity." How many of the dissenters in our Church bubble over with zeal as they undermine the faith? How many of those in the hierarchy, called to promote the faith "lack all conviction" having traded it for the Almighty tax exemption. How many failed to protect the little lambs in the flock and allowed the sodomite wolves to prey on them without interference? Fr. Belisarius was not one of them. He was a simple, humble priest who truly loved children and God's people. May the Lord bless us with many more like him.

Fr. Constantine, pray for us.

Sunday Meditation: First Sunday of Advent

Our Advent began with Mass and a big brunch celebrated with our youngest and her family and my oldest brother and his wife. But before brunch the three oldest children (eight, five, and three) helped me cut greens for the advent wreath off our pine trees and red berries off the nandina bushes.

What fun it was to have them poking the greens into the pine cone wreath (a gift from my sister Laura many moons ago!) and then adding the berries. Since I didn't have any new advent candles we scoured the candle drawer for three already used purples and one pink.

Theodore McCarrick says an "influential Italian gentleman" asked him to "talk up Bergoglio."

Did the "mafia" puppet masters
influence the election of Pope Francis?
The first video clip after the break is taken from a 2013 speech at Villanova (starts at about 18:55 in the second video at the bottom of the page which is the complete talk at Villanova).

Keep in mind that the Cardinals in a papal conclave are strictly prohibited from lobbying for a pope. And yet, there's plenty of evidence that lobbying for Cardinal Bergoglio was organized and came from an anti-Benedict wing of cardinals calling themselves the "mafia club" under the name "St. Gallen" or "St. Gall." (They met at St. Gallen's in Switzerland.)

The "mafia" included Cardinal DanneelsCardinal Kasper, Cardinal Martini (deceased), Cardinal Lehmann, Cardinal Silvestrini and Dutch Bishop Van Luyn. In an authorized biography of Cardinal Danneels, he was open about the secret meetings of the "mafia club" (Progressives love to brag!) although he later tried to backtrack. Why try to backtrack? Because lobbying for a pope can make his election illegitimate.

Guest Post: What do you think? Do the Prophecies of St. Francis Explain It All?

Take a look at this and see what you think, but please don't be alarmed. Church history is filled with challenging periods when corrupt popes ruled and anti-popes added to the confusion. "Let not your hearts be troubled." Trust in God and pray. I don't know if we are living in the time prophesied by St. Francis or not. I do know that our response in all circumstances is to commit to the duties of our state in life and to work out our salvation in fear and trembling committing ourselves to the will of God.   Mary Ann

The Prophecy of St. Francis about a Future Pope

By David Martin

Shortly before his death, St. Francis of Assisi called together the friars of his Order and detailed a prophecy of what was to come upon the Church in the latter days. That this prophecy references the last times is evident by the prediction of events that would not be fulfilled until after Vatican II, and by its placing these events in the time frame of the Gospel prophecy concerning the great tribulations just before Christ's Second Coming. (Matthew 24) St. Francis relates the following concerning the future Church under siege.

Black Friday Starts on Thursday: Please Don't Do It!

I was in one of the dollar stores in town the other day and saw a sign saying they'd be closed on Thanksgiving. Good thing I said to the cashier. She agreed. She'll be home celebrating Thanksgiving with her family. But this morning when I turned on my computer I started getting all the alerts in my email box. J.C. Penney: Black Friday starts Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Joining Penney's is a long list: Macy's, Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Kohls, Old Navy, Dollar General, etc. ad nauseum.

Trump Lectures the Mainstream Media: It's about Time!

Laura Ingraham for Press Secretary!
Hey, the media apparently have no problem with the cast of Hamilton lecturing Vice President elect Mike Pence. And then they act like Trump criticizing the cast's rude and inappropriate actions is a scary sign that he will muzzle free speech. What nonsense! The cast of Hamilton was uncivil and crass -- something, by the way, the media always accuse Trump of being. Well, the media got lectured by Trump in an appropriate setting - a meeting to discuss working together. Hey, what's wrong with clearing the air first?

Moms with Babies: Check out this free give-away

Okay, I admit it. I'm helping my daughter out with her new blog. But this is a cute post and, no, the baby is NOT the give-away. But with Christmas coming, who can't use free stuff?

#liberalhypocrisy - Question of the day for Brandon Dixon

What's the big deal? All white suburban housewives are ho's!
I have nothing to apologize for! After all, I'm a celebrity.
Why is it racist to have an all-white anything, but it's not racist to have a non-white Broadway show Hamilton about an all-white group of our historical ancestors? And then call it diverse! See the casting call for the Hamilton road show which calls for "non-white" men and women to audition. Wouldn't want to have any of those evil, racist, homophobic, misogynist, islamophobic whites among the pure and holy liberals in the cast. And Huffpo assures us that it absolutely, positively  isn't reverse racism. It's fundamental and necessary and absolutely crucial for the artistic merit of the show. (And we all know Huffpo has no agenda and is completely unbiased.)

Trump's Going Directly to the American People with His Plans

To all you mainstream media hacks, go fly kites...if you can manage it.

Francis Extends Authority of SSPX to Hear Confessions

Pope Francis released a new Apostolic Letter, Mercy and Peace, yesterday that authorizes the SSPX to continue hearing confessions and absolving penitents. The original authority only extended through the Year of Mercy which ended a few days ago with the closing of the Holy Doors. I haven't had a chance to read the entire letter yet which, compared to the marathon of Amoris Laetitia, should be a breeze since it's only 15 pages including footnotes.

If you want to read the section that pertains to the SSPX click on the link above and go to section 12.

Feast of Christ the King: "He Shall Send His Angels with a Trumpet and a Great Voice!"

On this last Sunday of the liturgical year we celebrate the feast of Christ the King. It should remind us that we are not a people who put our trust in men, but in the God of the Universe, the Word made flesh. As long as we live in Him we can never be defeated by the slings and arrows of the evil one.

Who is Pope Francis? A Wrecking Ball?

Now that I'm rid of the members of the Academy for Life, I'll
have to deal with those four pesky cardinals.
Things are getting stranger and stranger at the Vatican. The latest news reveals that the pope has dismissed all the members of the Pontifical Academy for Life. 1 Peter 5's Maike Hickson reports that, "all current members will be removed and a new set of up to seventy members will be installed. As the new statutes say, these new members will be appointed independently of religious orientation." The statutes read:
a) Academicians are selected, without any religious discrimination, from among well-known ecclesiastical, religious and lay persons of various nationalities, who are expert in the disciplines pertaining to human life… [my emphasis]

Sophie Theallet, the Designer from Ugly Having a Pout!

Would elegant Melania wear any of
Sophie Theallet's ugly collection?
Fashion designer Sophie Theallet says she won't do any designs for Melania Trump because she hates the Donald so much. Phsew! Melania will be spared the nausea of rejecting Theallet's designs. I went and looked at her "collection" and it's good for a laugh, but I can't picture Melania Trump even considering any of these. I never saw so much ugly and boring in one place in my life. The models would look better in flour sacks.

But before I show you some of the uglies I have to observe that when Christian bakers, photographers, caterers, etc. refuse to accept orders from homosexuals for same-sex "weddings," they are excoriated as bigots. How come it is acceptable to be bigoted against Melania especially when it's because you hate her husband.

Ah liberals, you just gotta laugh. They are hypocrites and champions of the double standard. Anything they do is a-okay. What you do is not...unless they happen to agree with you.

Have you written your letter to Fr. Shanley about the Shameful Treatment of Professor Esolen?

Anthony Esolen with students from Christendom College
Two weeks I go I did a blog post about the persecution of Anthony Esolen at Providence College and urged readers to write to the president, Fr. Brian Shanley, OP to protest the shameful treatment he was receiving at the hands of students, faculty, and administration. Several people copied their letters in the com box on the post, but the letter below was too long and the author kindly alerted me and posted it on his Facebook page. I reproduce it here with my thanks and hope it will inspire you to write to Fr. Shanley as well. Professors like Anthony Esolen are a gift to Holy Mother Church and to our children if they are fortunate enough to be in his classroom. Any Catholic college should feel privileged to have him at their institution. I also recommend this article asking, Where is Professor Anthony Esolen's "Safe Space"? I also invite you to "like" Professor Esolen's Facebook page. With that, I reproduce Peter Gallaher's letter. He prefaced it with this:

Demographics, Unintended Consequences, and the Election

I'm reflecting on demographics this morning. Abortion has killed off millions of babies in this country. The voters born after Roe v. Wade, had they lived, would be between the ages of 18 and 43. Younger voters tend to be more liberal. If you believe polls, more than half of Trump's supporters were over 45. People tend to grow more conservative as they age. So the oldsters helped swing the election to Trump.

"Make America Hate Again!": Thought for the Day from Fr. Tom

It is tragic to note that, while Trump supporters are implementing the key message of his campaign, “Make America Great Again”, the violence, venom and vitriol coming from many of Hillary supporters, favorably reported by their allies in the MSM, show that they are still trying to implement their counter-message, “Make America Hate Again”. They seem to be clinging to the hope that lying,
slander, desecration, obfuscation and intimidation will eventually win over the hearts and minds of decent citizens.

Fr. Tom Collins

Book Review: Liturgy and Personality by Dietrich von Hildebrand

Book Title: Liturgy and Personality
Author: Dietrich von Hildebrand

Dietrich von Hildebrand was one of the leading Catholic philosophers of the 20th century, a man Pope Pius XII called a modern “Doctor of the Church.” Von Hildebrand’s recently republished work, Liturgy and Personality, (hereafter referred to as L&P), demonstrates the justice of the pope’s respect. First published in 1933, L&P is a journey into the heart of the liturgy of the Tridentine Mass, now described as the extraordinary rite. The book helps explain its ongoing popularity even among the young who are often, in their youthful idealism, the most eager to encounter the fullness of Christ in the liturgy and to be transformed by Him. Unfortunately, in view of his recent remarks describing young people who love the extraordinary rite as “rigid,” even Pope Francis fails to understand the timeless attraction and deep mystery of the Church’s ancient liturgy shared by most of the saints. One of the great tragedies of the post Vatican II Church was the denigration and suppression of the Tridentine Mass.

Looks Like We Dodged the Bullet and Perhaps a Nuclear War with Madwoman Hysterical Hillary!

The more that comes out about Hillary Clinton the more convinced I am that we have kept an unstable psychopath out of the oval office. We previously posted about Hillary's crying fit on election night. But her instability was already evident in the backstage rant at NBC after Matt Lauer went off script and asked a question the corrupt politician didn't have ahead of time.

Read this:

“Physically Violent Hillary” Lashed Out Against Aides in Drunken Tirade on Election Night: Report

and watch the videos from the article which I've posted below.

Online Health Conference: Fighting Cancer!

Anyone who's been reading my blog for awhile knows that I'm concerned about GMOs and other ways we're exposed to poisons in our environment and food. So when I saw the ad for this free health invent I decided to register and I invite you to join me. You can sign up here. This is especially of concern to me right now because several family members were recently diagnosed with cancer and are doing research. One is using the Budwig Protocol and has noticed a significant difference in his level of pain. The protocol isn't a "cure" per se, but a way of beefing up the immune system and giving the cells what they need to work best. Check out the video and if it sounds interesting to you join me in this. (Transparency alert: If you sign up through my page (the sign up link above), I get points toward prizes. You can do the same by registering and sharing with your friends.) Shall we try to make this event go viral? I never demonize traditional medicine, and when I had cancer in 1989 I did chemo; but I'd rather go non-invasive first. You have nothing to lose by checking this out and, hey, it's free!

CCHD: It's all about funding Alinsky groups, not helping the poor!

This coming weekend Catholic churches all over the country will once again be taking up a collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, It is heavily advertised as helping the poor, but about 50% of the grants go to enrich and enable Alinskyite community organizing groups with agendas directly opposed to the Catholic faith and using means that are fundamentally immoral. That, in itself, is not surprising since, like Machiavelli, Alinsky believed accomplishing his ends justified any means.

Reflecting on the Four Last Things: Death, Judgment, Heaven or Hell

November is the month that Holy Mother Church focuses on the "four last things" -- death, judgment, heaven, or hell. I confess as I move closer to my 70th birthday I think about death more frequently. Not in a morbid sense at all, but in a realistic one.

I'm a practical person and realize that one of us, my husband or myself, will be left to deal with the death of the other. And so we've been talking about how we can make that painful ordeal easier for the surviving spouse. After we prayed a rosary in a local cemetery on All Souls Day, wee talked about buying burial plots now and perhaps planning our funeral Masses.

Letter to a friend: Excellent report about George Soros

The Great Manipulator
Dear Nancy,

This is a scanned copy of an issue of the Mindszenty Report that focuses on George Soros.  It is a concise capsule of Soros that many in your list might find useful.

I just finished reading Witness, by Whitaker Chambers and am currently reading a book he mentioned in one of the chapters titled Assignment in Utopia, by Eugene Lyons.

Do You Really Think Hillary Won the Popular Vote?

Report: Three Million Illegals Voted

Barack Obama encouraged illegals to vote. He told a "dreamer" (who made it clear she was speaking for illegals who consider themselves citizens) that "they" (he used her word citizen even though they aren't) could vote without fear. Talk about Treason with a capital T! How many millions do you think took him up on it? The three million cited in the report?

There are also seven million uncounted absentee ballots. Absentee votes generally go to the Republicans by a large percentage because so many active duty military vote absentee among other reasons. So before you swallow the nonsense that Hillary won the popular vote remember this and that there are four million dead people on the voter rolls. How hard is it in a populous that doesn't require I.D. to go around voting for the dead?

Meditation for Sunday: Did I commit the mortal sin of proselytizing?

Yesterday a handsome young black man in a suit and tie knocked on my door. I knew immediately from the Bible and Watchtower in his hands that he was a Jehovah's Witness. His wife and two children were waiting for him in the car.

He started the conversation by saying he had noticed my pro-life bumper sticker and how good it was to be against abortion. I agreed. Then he began to talk to me about his faith. I listened for a few minutes and then told him I'm a Catholic and that there are things about the Jehovah's Witnesses I find troubling: their shunning, their negative attitude toward innocent celebrations. I mentioned that Jesus' first miracle was to keep a party going.

We talked a little more and I said I really admired the zeal of the JWs and mentioned how I also admire the Mormon boys who come knocking. "I'm sure you get plenty of doors slammed in your face," I said. He smiled and nodded.

Time Out for a Commercial: Mommy in Flats

See my boots. I traded my candy to the
"switch witch" and she left them for me.
Mommy in Flats is a sweet blog filled with lots of suggestions for busy moms on how to look put together while engaging in all the activities of a busy household. It also offers ideas for the kids.

Jamie is a wife and mother of four and a homeschooler. (Transparency alert: She's my daughter.) I enjoy checking out her blog for gift ideas for our 25 grandchildren. I also like her ideas for going through your wardrobe and thinking outside the box to use what you own already in creative ways.

So stop by Jamie's blog. I love the Pokemon hats the children wore for Halloween -- a lot less gruesome than the zombies.

Now if someone would only develop a line of saint costumes!

Another Child Beat Up by Pro-Hillary Students

Yesterday I posted the video of a young girl beaten up at school for daring to post a pro-Trump message on social media. Now here's an 11-year-old who was sent to the hospital by a group of classmates for daring to admit he voted for Trump in the school's mock election. I don't want to hear another word about Trump and his supporters being the haters.

Trump's Transition Web Page Promises to Protect Life "from Conception to Natural Death."

President elect Trump says he'll defend me and all
babies no matter what color we are. That's why I'm smiling!
Below is the section on health care from Donald Trump's transition website. Trump promises to defend life "from conception to natural death!" All you pro-lifers out there who said Hillary was a better choice, what do you say now?

Our Lady of Life, pray for him!

Healthcare

It is clear to any objective observer that the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which has resulted in rapidly rising premiums and deductibles, narrow networks, and health insurance, has not been a success.

And the Violence from Hillary Supporters Continues!

Read more about this here. That little gal is an example of the best in her generation. But notice that the other students (there must have been a dozen) failed to help her. I'm not even sure the one girl who came forward wasn't trying to help the girl who was attacking her by pulling her arms down so she could hit her in the face. I hope the family brings charges. In a culture where a kindergartener is suspended for chewing a pop tart into the shape of a gun, what do you think will happen to the girl thug?

Hillary's Not the Only Crybaby! "Generation Snowflake" Needs Their Blankees!

Good grief! This is what our future looks like? God help us when "generation snowflake" takes over! Thank God I know some smart young men and women who are NOT snowflakes but have resisted the brainwashing and know how to think and act like grownups.

Campus Snowflakes Need Time Off to Deal with the Election

Cry, Baby, Cry: The Reason John Podesta Came Out to Concede

Image result for crying uncontrollably images
It wasn't supposed to end this way!

After reading the link above, I can honestly say, this is exactly why I would never vote for a woman for president.  We cry.  Inconsolably.  EVEN the toughest women among us and apparently Hillary is no exception.

Men also cry, but in almost every case it is when the love in their heart overflows, not when they are disappointed or unable to cope.  Almost never does it prevent them from doing what must be done when they are called to act.  They are not disabled by their tears, they are, in fact, often inspired by them.

Reactions of the White House Staff to Obama Talking about Trump Win

These are the faces of White House staffers when Obama met with them after Trump won. It doesn't take a behavioral analyst to read that body language: tears, tightly crossed arms, hand-wringing, frowns and grimaces, compressed lips and furrowed eyebrows. I see some sorrow here, but mostly anger, hostility, contempt, and hate.

Now Exactly Who are the Haters?

In New Orleans the liberal love message is "Die, whites, die."
Trump won and the internet is filled with the face of liberal love and tolerance in the aftermath. Facebook is filled with liberals posting that "Hate won" the election. I find that interesting especially in view of the riots taking place and the tweets about killing Trump and his supporters. You can read about a few episodes here and here.

In some places most of the protesters are young, maybe college students, who are angry that their candidate lost. Hey, they've been raised to believe that they have a right to win, that they all come from Lake Woebegone and are above average. How could they possibly lose? Many have never been taught the niceties of courtesy, dignity, and social discourse. These kids look like a bunch of middle schoolers having a hissy fit and reveling in using the "F" word. Apparently nobody ever taught them that you win some and you lose some and you just have to deal with it like grownups.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: What a Supreme Court Justice Should NEVER Be!

Ginsburg and her "dissent collar"

Justice is supposed to be blind. Lady Justice is always portrayed with a blindfold to indicate that she is impartial, unmoved by appearances. But clearly, some judges (like journalists who are supposed to report the news not make it or spin it) just can't resist legislating from the bench and making their opinions known in inappropriate circumstances. Ginsburg should know better at her age, but, well, she doesn't.

Now We Need to Hold Trump's Feet to the Fire...

I was reading Steve Kellmeyer's website and he pointed out that the Trump campaign has already taken down the pro-life page from his website. (See below.) Not a good sign, I agree. But I think it's a little early to take potshots at him and presume he's going to betray us. We all know what he's said about defunding Planned Parenthood and now's the time to push for the follow-through.

And keep in mind that Trump's contract with America has many issues that, if accomplished, will strengthen families. His emphasis on local control of education, reducing the size of the tyrannical federal government, eliminating Obamacare and substituting his 7-point healthcare plan, etc.

Democrats Working Hard to Rig the Election!

Be alert today. If you see any signs at your polling place of voter fraud report it to election officials.

No Matter What Happens Today, Never-Never-NEVER Give Up!

Imitate the perseverance of these little creatures of God. He gave them to us to remind us never to give up! Pray, hope, and don't worry!

Remember the Babies: Vote Pro-Life Tomorrow

By Alice Doyle

Many people do not know this about me but when I was about 11, my mom went to jail for the first time for trying to save babies by blocking access to an abortion clinic. She later became involved in Operation Rescue and she and my Grandma nearly missed my graduation from UVA after being arrested and jailed for three weeks on a trespassing charge in New York.

Growing up, my parents hosted over a dozen unwed mothers. Many people refer to unborn babies as "the product of conception" "the fetus" or "clumps of tissue" but every one of those young women delivered a baby and, for the most part, gave that baby to another family to raise. As a young girl, I was deeply impressed by their courage and sacrifice.

Fr. Tom Collins Makes it Simple for You: The Impact of Obama Urging Illegals to Vote!

The internet is abuzz with Barack Obama affirming that illegals will NOT be prosecuted for voting fraudulently. The man is a traitor encouraging voter fraud to make sure the Democrat "juggarnaut" will roll over us now and forever. He should be impeached for that video alone!

Fr. Tom simplifies this for you!

Catholics, Are You Still Thinking of Voting for Hillary? Don't Do It!

From Fr. George Rutler and Holy Mother Church:
While one may pragmatically vote for a flawed candidate, one may not vote for anyone who advocates and enables unmitigatedly evil acts, and that includes abortion. “In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to ‘take part in a propaganda campaign in favor of such a law, or vote for it'” (Evangelium Vitae, 73).

I'm Still Laughing -- Michael Moore is for Trump? (Language Warning: Well Sprinkled with the F Word)

Knock me over with a feather. The maniacal blowhard stumps for Trump. Maybe there's hope for the man yet.

Abortion Chop Shops: Welcome to Virginia Courtesy of Gov. McAuliffe

Hey, Women don't need protection from butchers. They need
easy access to abortion even if it kills them. Let's drink to that!
Recently the Virginia Board of Health gutted any sensible regulation of free standing abortion mills opening up Virginia to unscrupulous abortionists who not only kill babies, but operate like the infamous back alley butchers with no concern for the health or safety of the mothers. The only difference between them and the notorious illegal abortionists (most of whom were doctors) is they hang their shingle out front.

Remember Kermit Gosnell? He operated a chop shop abortion mill in Philadelphia described as a "little shop of horrors."He's serving a life term in prison now after being convicted of murdering three babies born alive following late-term abortions.

Trump's Message to Catholics

And a hat tip to Fr. Z where I first saw this.

Catholics are indeed an important part of the American story and the names of many of our cities points directly to the impact of the early Catholic missionaries: San Diego, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, St. Augustine, Corpus Christi, St. Louis, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Sacramento, St. Paul, St. Simons Island, St. George Island, St. Petersburg, St. Mary's County MD, etc. point to the Catholics who settled here and shared the faith. As we face the difficult years ahead, let's commit to being new missionaries planting the seeds of Catholic faith in all our communities.

St. Therese, patroness of missionaries, intercede for us that we may make our country once again a land that is one nation under God with liberty and justice for all both the born and the unborn.

Sunday Meditation: "Fear is Useless; What's Needed is Trust..."

Our Lady's Lamp reminds us of God's love for his people!
"Blessed is the man whose hope is the Lord."  Jeremiah 17:7
...and a double serving of hope which is implied in the word trust. After all, if we are in need and turn to someone don't we hope that they will assist or guide us? Sometimes they don't. But whom can we count on to NEVER fail us?

Certainly putting our trust in fallible men is foolish even when we need to depend on them for help. With men, we need to follow Reagan's advice, "Trust but verify." Not so with the Lord. His love never fails.

Every day when I say my morning prayers I make an act of hope. "O my God, relying on Your almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope in the forgiveness of sins, the help of Your grace, and life everlasting through the merits of Your Son Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer."

William Campudoni and Donald Trump: An Inspiring True Story!

I hope everyone watching this video will share it far and wide. Trump has been portrayed as a vicious racist. Really? Here's one black American who describes a man who helped make him a champion. Read more here and see the letter Trump sent that holds a special place in the heart of boxer William Campudoni. Does this action reveal the man described as a narcissist and egomaniac? Or does it show a man who values his employees as more than cogs in a machine but as individuals who deserve respect. I'm voting for Trump on Tuesday and I'm not holding my nose like I did with Romney in 2012. Trump may be a vulgarian which is one big reason the elitists hate him, but he has an instinct and concern for little people. I'll wear my red proudly on Tuesday and pray that God gives us this Cyrus to begin rebuilding the country.

How do you spell Democrat? V-I-O-L-E-N-C-E!

"Pray, hope, and don't worry."  St. Padre Pio
Trump Surge Freakout: More Violence against Supporters

The Democrats have spent the entire campaign accusing Trump and his supporters of fomenting violence, but the truth is that the violence is coming from the Democrats and their paid operatives. If you are a Trump supporter you know people who have been verbally or even physically attacked, had their signs stolen, had their cars keyed or worse.

Democrats talk about tolerance but it's a one-way street. Tolerate their opinions about (take your pick) abortion, sodomy, same sex marriage, euthanasia, assisted suicide, cannibalizing embryos for their stem cells, open borders, Obamacare, etc. If you dare to debate any of these issues and present a reasoned case against them you are (take your pick) a hater, a homophobe, a Nazi, a f***ing idiot, a deplorable, a danger, etc. Debate a Democrat at your peril. You will soon find yourself at the end of a diatribe of name-calling which Hillary exhibited when she said she was sick of Trump supporters, whom she had already labeled "deplorable" and then upped the ante calling us "dark, divisive, and dangerous." And that, friends, is how a Democrat thinks you unify the country.

Bill and Hillary: It's all about Sex and Money

It was all Bush's fault.
Bill Clinton ditched Secret Service on multiple ‘Lolita Express’ flights: Report

Epstein is a convicted sex felon involved in sex trafficking of underage girls for his elite clients. What do you think -- Bill was just along for the ride?  And then there's the Clinton Foundation link to sex trafficking. Yikes! Seems the Clinton crime syndicate will do anything if you grease their palms a little (or a lot!).

Hillary claims to care about women. Will we hear her call for an investigation of her partner in crime at the Clinton Foundation? Oh, wait, she's involved.

Don't hold your breath.  But do share this information far and wide. This pair belongs in the Big House, not the White House.

On Global Warming and the Exploitation of Children

This video made me downright angry. The left, who have no problem filling our landfills with babies' bodies and our waterways with chemical birth control, exploit children to promote their bogus global warming scam. And the condescending attitude of those little preachers hired to scold their parents is nauseating!

The Clinton E-mail Scandal: Level of Corruption is Unprecedented!

When MSNBC is reporting on the corruption...well...knock me over with a feather!

I found the comments on Chelsea interesting. I used to sidewalk counsel with a young woman, a naval enlistee, who was assigned to the White House filming for their video archive. She was there taping when Pope John Paul II came to the U.S. and challenged America to "Defend Life!"

Chelsea attended the event where the president welcomed the pope and my friend described how she watched Chelsea and how riveted the child was by the pope and his words. Let's pray for Chelsea Clinton. In view of her criticism of the Clinton Foundation, she seems to have a conscience that isn't completely dead. It really isn't surprising that she's been impacted by her corrupt parents. Let's pray that she is open to grace and becomes a voice of truth.

The Power of Prayer: Please Join in this Hail Mary Crusade

A friend sent the email below asking for ONE Hail Mary and since prayer is a great antidote against evil I'm joining in this prayer effort and invite you to be a part of it as well. Jesus said that some devils are only cast out through prayer and fasting. Will you multiply your prayer exponentially with an added fast: from food, from TV, from coffee, from alcohol. Or can you add a holy hour in front of Our Blessed Lord in the tabernacle? Our world needs believers who adore the Creator and Giver of all blessings. Remember what Jesus said to the one out of ten lepers who came back to say thank you praising God all along the way? "'Were not all ten made whole? Where are the other nine? Was there no one to return and give thanks to God except this foreigner?' He said to the man, 'Stand up and go your way; your faith has been your salvation.'"

We don't know what happened to the other nine. Maybe after showing themselves to the priests some did come back -- better late than never.

Exactly How Does this Screeching Attack on Trump Supporters Help?

How does this woman intend to unite the country if she wins after her continuing vicious attacks on Trump supporters? Hm?

We're "deplorable" and now we are "dark, divisive, and dangerous!" She sure loves d's. Here are a few back at ya, Hillary: deafening, deadly, desperate, and DEFEATED!

Oh, and all those d adjectives you're throwing at us. Look at your finger-pointing hand. Three of those fingers point back at you, ladybug.

You know, I don't think I've once heard Trump attack Hillary's supporters. He tries to encourage them to vote for him, but doesn't insult them. What will Hillary do with us if she's elected since we are so "dangerous?" Send another d to take care of us, as in drones?

Read more here and wear your red on election day.

Letters to Providence College about the Persecution of Anthony Esolen!

I'd like to post your letters to the president of Providence College (or his representative) about the persecution of Anthony Esolen. (Read the original article here.)  Copy them in the comments section below. Here are two samples, mine and a friends. Let's stand up for this great Catholic gentleman against the political correctness at Providence College! Interesting, isn't it, that on their website they call themselves PC. And they sure are!

My email:

Dear Fr. Shanley,

Steve Piecznik Alleges a Clinton Coup to Take Over the Country!

So...what do you think? Read Piecznik's impressive profile here. It's hard to imagine that he's just a crazy conspiracy nut. His website is down, but you can visit his Facebook page here. And watch an interview with him here. If what he says is true, Russia is NOT the source of Wikileaks email exposure, but sources within the U.S. disgusted with the corruption of the Clintons and their allies. In fact, Wikileaks head, Julian Assange denies Russian involvement and will be interviewed by John Pilger on November 5th. Should be interesting!

Dem Donors Compare Blacks Who Vote Republican to Jews Who Conspired with the Nazis!

Veritas has released another bombshell video with a major Democrat donor saying blacks who vote Republican are "F***ed up in the head." Then he compares them to Jewish guards who helped kill other Jews to survive a little longer. Wow, talk about respect. So no black can be smart and aspire to be like Dr. Ben Carson, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Representative Mia Love or historic figures like Booker T. Washington. Unless they imitate dyed in the wool democrats like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, and other black opportunists who make a career of fomenting racial strife they are "f***ed up in the head."

Who are the real racists? Read more here.

Hillary and the Nuclear Option

Hypocrite Hillary recently pulled out the old Barry Goldwater hit ad with the little girl in the daisy field and the nuclear warhead going off in the distance. Here's Eagle Forum's response pointing out that the real nuclear danger is Hillary the madwoman.

The Wolves are Howling for Professor Anthony Esolen!

I consider Anthony Esolen one of the finest Catholic writers today. So when I saw Matthew Archbold's headline this morning, Faithful Catholic Professor Anthony Esolen Under Attack at Providence College, I immediately went to his site to read the article. Of course, in today's politically correct world where most Catholic colleges joined the zeitgeist decades ago, persecuting a solid Catholic teacher is no surprise. What's more surprising is to see any of the good guys avoiding persecution, especially in view of the "bias response protocol" which assures us that, "To be clear, this process is in no way intended to curb the free expression of opinions or ideas." Yeah, right! How exactly will the current persecution of Professor Esolen affect other professors who see the collapse of Catholicism on their campuses? Anybody think they'll write an article questioning diversity?

Say Thank You to Your Patron Saints Today!

All Saints Day is the perfect time to give special recognition to your patron saints. I am truly blessed to have been named for our Blessed Mother and her mother, St. Anne. I was born the day after the feast of the Annunciation so Mary was an obvious and appropriate choice. (Most of my siblings also have names associated with a saint whose feast day is near the date of their births.) How I love the feast that celebrates what I can only consider the most significant day in human history when the Word became flesh and began His journey among us. Without Mary's yes, the Incarnation, and the passion, death, and resurrection of our Divine Lord we would remain spiritually dead in the primordial muck of original sin. Thank you, Mary!
