It began last Sunday with Septuagesima Sunday, the ninth Sunday before Easter. Already, the faithful are encouraged to begin to mortify themselves and put on a penitential spirit. There is certainly plenty to do penance for in these troubling times.

The other day I urged readers in this post to join in making reparation for the meeting of satanists in Scottsdale, AZ and to spiritually unite with the TFP (Tradition Family Property) who organized the prayer event. One of the things I prayed for was confusion among the devil worshipers. That prayer was apparently answered. About 300 Catholics joined in the three days of prayers against the evil. And now Jesse Romero reports what he saw. Sounds like it's time for prayers of thanksgiving since the participants left arguing with each other and "not happy." Let us give thanks and say prayers of deliverance for all the satanists.

He does not attend SSPX services; they aren't available to him in Japan. But his article is an objective view that treats the SSPX with respect. I appreciated our contact very much and urge you to read the article. It's interesting to note that while many attack the SSPX and falsely accuse them of all kinds of things, all I hear at the chapel I attend is teaching on the faith and worship that is clearly aimed at God. There are no showmen on the altar, only priests acting in persona Christi. There are no diatribes against the pope or the conciliar Church, just solid preaching on the gospel and exhortation to live a life of virtue in accordance with the will of God. All I can say to anyone curious about the SSPX is what Jesus said to Andrew and John, "Come and see." We welcome newcomers with open arms!

I just watched the Valentine's Day Vortex, "Leading People Astray." It's the perfect title for every Church Militant (CM) blather episode since they are experts at doing exactly that. This episode happened to be an excerpt from a long interview with Tim Gordon by the darling duo, Mike and Christine. I couldn't stomach the entire interview. I just watched the short Vortex. That was enough!

Pope Francis says Fraternity is the "anchor of salvation." REALLY? What happened to Jesus?

Pope Francis is at it again with his video message celebrating the Day of Human Fraternity. 

It's deja vu! Or maybe we've wandered into a time warp in the universe taking us back to the "enlightenment" of the French Revolution with its motto of "liberty, equality, fraternity." Francis certainly seems to glory in the language of that era. Really...he wrote an entire encyclical on it that Topsy and Tuptim discussed at length.

We hear plenty of demands these days for liberty and freedom, most of which involve being "liberated" from, not only the laws of God, but from nature itself. And now Francis tells us in a video message celebrating the "Day of Human Fraternity" that Fraternity is the "anchor of salvation for humanity." Not Jesus Christ, of course, but "fraternity." Let's all hold hands and sing Kumbaya. 

Our resolve is to walk side by side, “brothers and sisters all,” in order to be effective artisans of peace and justice."

It makes one's head spin.

Where are their minds? Do they have any common sense at all? Do they have eyes to see and ears to hear? Seems doubtful.

Sunday Meditation: Of Angels and Demons

Anyone as old as I am will remember the cartoons with Disney characters who have an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other both whispering in his ears. I thought of that today during catechism class after Mass. We had a visiting Benedictine monk sharing about life in the monastery. At one point he discussed the thoughts and ideas and "voices" we hear inside our heads. He commented that we often think we're just talking to ourselves, but that isn't necessarily true. The Holy Spirit inspires those intent on doing God's will with holy thoughts. The demons, who are just as intent on our destruction as our guardian angels are on our salvation, love to tempt us.

The Left's participation in evil has always been to shock. And once normal people "get over" the shock and move on, the Left has to move forward with something even more shocking, leaving the former shocking thing in the dust. That's what's happening to homosexuals today. "Normal homosexuals" - those "married" sodomites settled down in a house and living what appears to be a "normal lifestyle just like heterosexuals" - have lost their shock value. They're passé. Boring actually. Therefore it's no longer shocking to hire an active sodomite as the Diocesan Director of Liturgy or appoint homosexuals as pastors of large parishes with a school. How monotonous.

I got an email from TFP (Tradition Family Property) today warning about a satanic convention taking place in Scottsdale, AZ. I hope you'll take action like I did. My husband and I will be joining in praying to Our Lady and saying a daily rosary specifically in reparation. The devil is no Halloween clown in red tights and foam horns. He's real and he's determined to destroy God's image in each of us if he can. I'm reading Malachi Martin's book, Hostage to the Devil about five cases of possession. None of us needs to fear if we stay close to God and stay filled with the Holy Spirit so there's no room for Satan and his minions. But he's real and I'm betting that many of those at the convention this weekend are actually possessed. 

What kind of ceremonies will they hold? How many in the vicinity will be impacted by the evil miasma mimicking incense and poisoning everyone who comes in contact with it? Their meeting is a threat to every guest and employee at that hotel and that's what I wrote to them. Think of the poor wait staff who have to serve and clean up after them, the housekeeping staff who go into their rooms after likely orgiastic behavior with drugs and who knows what else. Just the thought of staying at a hotel that's hosted such an event fills me with nausea. If I were an employee there I would quit before I would expose myself to demons. It makes me think that from now on, I want to take holy water with me and sprinkle every hotel we visit.
