Homosexual Narcissists Need to Be Out of the Limelight! Not on the Love Boat!

Gary Michael Voris, grifter extraordinaire, is at it again! After destroying Church Militant and giving another sob story about his homosexual addiction and going into rehab for ten minutes, he's back on another "retreat" at sea . Well, hey, "retreats" held on cruise ships are a great way to meet new friends. Remember the sitcom called "The Love Boat?" Somehow, I don't think the "retreat" at sea is about love of God. More like love of pleasure. Presumably, Gary is an expert on that.

How Many of Clergy Abuse Cases were Witch Hunts Motivated by Money?

If you aren't familiar with Fr. Gordon MacRae's story of persecution, I suggest you study his website, Beyond These Stone Walls. Father's home for almost thirty years has been a prison cell. He could have been out in one or two years if he agreed to "admit" the lie that he was a sex abuser. He refused to play the game and was shuffled off to our own U.S. gulag where he remains today.

When You're in the Desert, What Do You Do?

"THE land that was desolate and impassable shall be glad,
and the wilderness shall rejoice, and shall flourish like the lily." Isaiah 35:1

What do you think of when you hear the word "desert?" What is its connotation for you? Dry, arid, hot, desolate, sandstorms, lonely, thirsty, wilderness....? Are there any positive associations when you think of the word?

The Bible is full of desert experiences, some good, some not so good.

Living in LaLa Land with Lunatics! Call on St. Joseph, Terror of Demons

Well, actually, our overlords aren't lunatics, but minions of Lucifer. This morning, I learned that a Canadian priest who teaches at the SSPX seminary in Dillwyn, VA (St. Thomas Aquinas) is being deported, I think tomorrow. We know him because he occasionally offers Mass and hears Confessions at our chapel in Linden. The government flunkies won't allow him to renew his visa. Bishop Fellay, who lives at the seminary, is in the same boat, but his deportation is less imminent.

Think about that for a minute.

Just Wondering..... Who Does Google Run Interference For?

 Planned Parenthood?

The post I did the other day about Planned Parenthood and their Telehealth unsupervised chemical abortions being the modern bloody coathanger has received almost no views. Strange and I'm guessing it's no accident.

So here's the link and I invite readers to go check it out and let me know if they've seen it.

God's Great Big Beautiful World

One of these was on my patio this morning

The very first week we moved back to Florida 26 years ago, a baby pygmy rattlesnake placed itself across the bedroom threshold as I was carrying in fresh laundry to be folded. Squinting my eyes in order to see what it was, I leaned over and that thing struck at my face. I screamed and ran back into the kitchen wondering what to do. Eventually I managed to get it into a bucket, placed it outside then hysterically called my brother. Over the phone he said, "What's the matter with you? You grew up in Florida. You know we have lizards and spiders and snakes and alligators."

The New Coathanger: Planned Parenthood and their "Coathanger" Pill Abortions

PP, purveyor of the chemical coathanger
Planned Parenthood (PP), in their zeal for murdering babies in the womb, have gone the modern coathanger route of unsupervised self abortions.

They don't care about the women, only see them as dollar signs. Kill the babies, sell their body parts, and rake in the abortion fee.

Encouraging at home abortions makes perfect logical and economic sense for the abortion giant. Think about it -- almost $600 for a few phone calls and a package of deadly coathanger pills. (Source)

Loss of Civility: It's a Mark of the Beast! So Kiss a Frog!

Yesterday, a person commented on Susan's post, When a Lesbian Needs a Man, with a vicious and insulting short diatribe. I immediately filed it in the trash. One point he (or perhaps she) made was that he knew women who were stronger than men.

What an eye-rolling proof of stupidity. Of course! If you take the biggest and strongest woman in the world and the weakest and smallest man, you can have your anecdotal proof that there's no difference between men and women and women can do anything men can do and probably do it better.

The facts prove something quite different. We are not the same. Men were created by God to be the husbands, fathers, warriors, providers, and protectors of their families. Women were made to be the wives, mothers, nurturers, educators and caregivers of their families. Our body differences mirror our spiritual differences.

The Privileged Mindset of Thieves - It's Their Right to Steal!

To keep myself from sedentarily sitting at the computer 24/7 I have a part-time job at a local store as the evening lumber cashier a few nights a week.

Unfortunately, among all the great people out there, there are those who aren't so great. Some are thieves. Just last week, here's how the exchange went between a stupid obese white woman thief and me:

Me: Excuse me?  (she continued walking toward the lumber exit, pushing the large cart full of merchandise she was trying to steal) Hey! (I stepped in front of her cart...she tried wheeling around me but I was faster so she stopped)

Her: Whut?

When a Lesbian Needs a Man

I am woman a butch lesbian, hear me roar whine

The ironic hilarity of it all nearly killed me. Well, not really, but you know what I mean. Here's what happened yesterday at work.

Recently a young woman was hired who is obviously gay. She looks like a hefty man, has a haircut like a man, walks like a man, wears masculine clothes, has tattoos on her arms like Popeye, has various facial piercings and wears blue ear plug earrings. She's quite agreeable to work with and has a pleasant enough looking face and would be a pretty woman if she decided to go that route. But, no, she wants to present as non-binary or whatever and pretend to be a man.

Some things are worth repeating: A Post about Truth Telling and Truth Tellers

I originally wrote this post in 2018 linking to Fr. Weinandy's letter to Pope Francis calling him to account in a profoundly charitable way. The pope didn't take it well, to say the least. And he continues to treat those who criticism him, not as brothers and sisters in the Lord, but as enemies with a "suicidal attitude" who are "closed up inside a dogmatic box." The number of insults from the pope against traditional Catholics is legion. Those who defend the faith, those who should be his pride and joy, are castigated and persecuted. Suffering persecution faithfully is a challenge and an opportunity and we can see some of its fruits, especially among the young men studying for the priesthood who are more orthodox than their predecessors.

It's a Spiritual Work of Mercy: Pray for the Living and the Dead.

I got a message this morning from a dear friend whom I've known since she was a teenager. I did a reading at her wedding back in the early 80s. She asked for prayers for her daughter, a busy mom of many, who is in the hospital with pneumonia. I've received many prayer requests lately: from a young father who's very sick, from an internet friend who lost his job and is near retirement age with not even a thin parachute for his golden years, from a number of sick family members including my sister in a nursing home, and from a number of other suffering souls. I've been keeping the Poor Clares busy with all the requests for their intercessory prayers.

Fr. Gordon MacRae and Beyond These Stone Walls

I received a letter yesterday from a very unusual priest, Fr. Gordon MacRae. I call him unusual because I doubt many priests would do what he did. Falsely accused of molesting a minor, the victim of trumped up "evidence" by a corrupt "justice" system in New Hampshire, he refused to be bribed by a plea deal. He could have been out of jail in one or two years if he took the plea. He refused because he was innocent. And now he is on the cusp of "celebrating" thirty years in prison.

Read these quotes from the website, Beyond These Stone Walls:
“Fr Gordon MacRae is beyond innocent. It is a travesty that he is in jail. If you listened and read the evidence, transcripts, videos, audio tapes you would be horrified. The people who did this need to get on their knees and beg forgiveness from God. + If they don’t ... .”

Is This Upcoming Birthday a Secret?

America's 250th birthday is just around the corner. Have you heard one word about it in the mainstream media? The 1976 bicentennial was hyped long before it arrived. and we are only a little over two years away from this historic event.

So why the silence? Where is the enthusiasm for celebrating 250 years of America? What is the difference between the America of 1976 and the America of today?

There were few people in our country shouting "Death to America" in 1976 like recently happened at a pro-Palestine demonstration in Michigan. Few pastors imitated Rev. Jeremiah Wright screaming, "God damn America."

What are all these signs in the heavens trying to tell us?

Aurora Borealis of 2024
I'm repeating a post from a few weeks ago. It seems to me to be especially Providential that God has given us two "signs in the heavens" between Easter and Pentecost. Is he trying to wake us up?

I recently read a chapter in the book Cleansing Fire: Welcome to the New Springtime about the message Mary gave the children of Fatima on July 13, 1917. The book is a novel, but much of its content is true. Chapter 33 pertains to Fatima and the Great Sign the Blessed Mother said she would send to warn people about a coming chastisement:
“If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the reign of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its sins, by means of war, famine, and persecutions against the Church and of the Holy Father.

Thought for the Day from a Friend

Thought for the Day from the The Life and Glories of Saint Joseph

Part of my morning prayer time lately is reading from The Life and Glories of Saint Joseph. I'm on the chapter on the Journey to Bethlehem. Two short passages really struck me this morning. The first related to scripture about the birth of the Messiah.

Mary was reared in the temple and must have known the prophecies well. She and Joseph both must have realized that Bethlehem was going to be the birthplace of Jesus. And yet, they stayed in Nazareth waiting to see how God would bring it about.

...we find them remaining on at Nazareth without doubt or question. If this surprises us, it is only because the strength of their faith and their complete abandonment to the leadings of God's Providence are beyond our shallow perception. God would know how to bring about His will in the manner He pleased, and they left all in His hands.

And, of course, we know God used Caesar Augustus to bring about His will.

Are You on the Bridge or in the Tunnel?

[Take a trip across the 23 mile Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel as a metaphor of life's journey. Turn off the sound if you don't want to listen to the obnoxious music in the video.]

Some images are perfect metaphors for life's journey. Before Mass today, I was reading the morning devotion from Benedictus, Psalm 142, a pretty gloomy reflection:

For the enemy hath persecuted my soul: he hath brought down my life to the earth. He hath made me to dwell in darkness as those that have been dead of old: and my spirit is in anguish within me....

The image that popped into my head as I read this was the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. (I have a weird brain!)  If you've never driven that route, it's a 23-mile bridge/tunnel, mostly above water but with two mile-long tunnels taking you deep under the bay. I've been through it once years ago and don't really have any desire to repeat the experience, although it is an impressive engineering marvel.

Thinking about feet on the feast of the Ascension

This morning while I was praying I was looking down abstractedly and saw my feet. It got me thinking about feet. We take our feet for granted don't we? How many times do we think with gratitude about the gift of our feet? I can't say I think about them much at all. And yet, the first thing I do in the morning is sit up in bed with my feet on the floor and then stand up. Think of the gift of balance and say thank you to your feet...and your toes. Your balance would be seriously affected if your big toe was amputated.

The Adventure of Cleaning Up "Hot Spots" - Thinking about the next pope!

Cardinal Péter Erdő

Every now and then I start hyperventilating over the clutter. Much of it consists of stacks of back issues of magazines and newspapers that I haven't read but hate to just throw in the recycle bin. I usually read through the table of contents and the headlines to see if something catches my eye that I want to read.

Yesterday, I picked up Issue 1 2023 of The Traditionalist with a fascinating article by Edward Pentin, a chapter from his book on likely papal candidates in the next conclave. The focus was on Cardinal Péter Erdő, the Primate of Hungary.

The evil bureaucracy we call the U.N. has world domination as its goal!

I'm reading the United Nations Agenda 30 document. Oh my, what a journey into the mind of the Utopian atheists who make of themselves men like gods. Even the title of their opus reflects monumental hubris: Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. They do, indeed, intend to "transform our world." The question is, transform it into what? Their seventeen "sustainable development goals" give a pretty clear indication of where they plan to take us -- into a one-world globalist tyranny implementing their "universal agenda" of radical control where the common man has no voice and is a slave of his masters from cradle (if he manages to escape their abortions)  to an early grave from "death with dignity."

Monday Morning Musing about Philosophy

The human mind puzzles me, especially my own. I get up in the morning with no idea where my mind will take me -- down what rabbit holes. Will I end up in fairyland, a dystopian chaotic horrorscape, or just wander in the garden meditating on my tomato plants?

Last night I attacked one of my "hot spots" filled with back issues of magazines and newspapers. I threw out several old issues of Chronicles after looking at the table of contents and deciding I could go on living without reading any of the articles. In the slightly reduced stack were a half dozen copies of The Traditionalist, Roger McCaffrey's publication. I wanted to look at those more closely before relegating them to the recycle bin.

"Let all contention cease." Let us defend the faith like Our Lady and St. Francis de Sales!

I subscribe to Benedictus, the monthly prayer companion for traditional Catholics. Every issue offers a virtue of the month. May's virtue is meekness, certainly appropriate during the month of Mary who "pondered all things in her heart." Can you imagine Mary engaging in the tsunami of rude and contentious behavior so common on the internet hiding behind a mask of anonymity? I don't mean to imply that those who engage in rude and contentious behavior under their own name behave legitimately. "Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not rude," as St. Paul tells us.

Are We Living in the Matrix? The Con in the Conservative Movement

Conservative or Conman?
Some days I wake up feeling like we're all living in the Matrix. How much of what we read in the press is real? How much is manipulation? Who are the movers and shakers doing their best to exercise mind control over the masses? How many of the violent protesters on campus these days are really students at the universities and how many are paid puppets recruited by mob organizers. Who can we trust to tell us the truth? What is the truth anyway, like Pilate asked?

This morning I read an article about William Buckley at Lew Rockwell.

The Phony Legacy of William F. Buckley, Jr.

I never liked Buckley. He always came across to me as a pompous blowhard. We took National Review for awhile, but it became obvious it was run by neocons whose conservatism was as phony as the red nose on a clown. Many of its writers are warmongering elitists. No regrets over cancelling that rag.

Let Justice Roll Down

Falsely Accused priest wins jury damages and returns to ministry.

I follow Fr. Gordon MacRae's blog, Beyond These Stone Walls. Fr. MacRae refused to take a plea deal when he was falsely accused of sex abuse of a minor. Instead of a year in prison, the bribe if he pled guilty (Think of the January 6ers.), he has lived behind bars since 1994 continuing to profess his innocence. His accuser received $200,000; Fr. MacRae continues to dwell in the U.S. gulag despite lack of evidence and inconsistencies in the "victim's" story. You can read about Father's ordeal here.

His post today is about another falsely accused priest, Fr. William Graham, who was finally exonerated after eight long years of being treated by his spiritual father and his spiritual brothers like a pariah: removed from active ministry, sent into exile, no word of support or comfort. In a recent homily he shared some of what he experienced:

It's Mary's Month: How Will You Honor Her?

Our Lady of Sorrows by Titian
During this month of May, let us console Our Mother who mourns over sinful mankind and prays for our conversion. At Fatima she told the little children that many go to hell because they have no one to pray for them. Let us spend this month praying for poor sinners like the little shepherdess, St. Jacinta.
