How much evidence do Catholics need before they recognize the reality of the emergency in the Church? I'm frankly baffled by all the tradition-minded Catholics who continually criticize the SSPX claiming there was no state of necessity for the consecration of bishops last July. Many of these folks admit there's a crisis in the Church, but not a big enough crisis for the SSPX to consecrate bishops without a papal mandate. Other bishops in regular canonical situations, they say, are available to ordain priests to say the Latin Mass and offer the traditional sacraments.
The Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage has been going on for about fifteen years. Keep in mind that this is not an SSPX event. They do not participate. This canonically regular group of traditionalists was first refused a Mass at St. Peter's and then refused to even process into the basilica to pray. The border of the Vatican City State was closed to them. No church for you! Puts to the lie the meme that "All are welcome" doesn't it? Sodomites oui, faithful Catholics non!
Remember 2025! Compare the treatment of these Catholics to the enthusiastic welcome of the LGBTQ+ out and proud sodomites during the 2025 Jubilee year. They made their pilgrimage in clothing that used to be forbidden at St. Peter's and even those wearing T-shirts with obscene messages walked through the "holy door" many engaging in same-sex PDA (public display of affection).
Yoo-hoo! Wake up, folks. Do you get it yet? The TLM and the traditional sacraments must be eliminated! No approving nod from the Vatican can be allowed even for those in canonically regular situations. The office of the secretary of state held the key to opening the door. What happened? Vatican correspondent, Diane Montagna, tells us:
VATICAN CITY, 25 October 2026 — A letter from the Vatican Secretariat of State to the organizers of the annual Ad Petri Sedem pilgrimage, obtained by this journalist, confirms reports that the pilgrims were barred from entering St. Peter’s Basilica in procession to pray at the tomb of the Apostle.
The letter (pictured below), dated 30 September 2026, is signed by Archbishop Paolo Rudelli, Substitute for General Affairs, and addressed to the pilgrimage’s chaplain, Abbé Claude Barthe. Written in French, it reads:
“Dear Father, in reply to your letter of 8 September, concerning the international pilgrimage Ad Petri sedem, I inform you that it is not possible to respond favorably to your request. Please accept, dear Father, the expression of my religious and devoted regard.”Having already been denied permission to celebrate a solemn Mass in the Basilica, the organizers asked instead for permission to enter St. Peter’s in procession, to pray for Pope Leo XIV at the Confession, i.e., just above the tomb of St. Peter, and to adore the Blessed Sacrament at the Altar of the Chair.
Their request noted that the Basilica’s sacristy had said 1 p.m. would be possible, provided the Secretariat of State granted permission.
Let's get this straight again. This group is NOT affiliated with the SSPX in any way. It is composed of the Ecclesia Dei groups that are in a regular situation with Rome. I'll put it another way. These are the groups that supposedly enjoy the approval of the Vatican. EXCEPT THEY DON'T! No one who attends or desires the TLM is acceptable at the Vatican. Most of the saints of the church would be barred today from participating in a procession into St. Peters. Let the martyrs go back to the coliseum and process there.
Pilgrims were stopped at the Vatican state's border. It almost seems like a skit for Saturday Night Live. Ironic, eh, from a Vatican that tells the world to "welcome the stranger" invading your country. They refused to welcome members of the family!
Don't lose your faith, folks. Pray for the usurpers. God will not be mocked and He will bring good out of this ridiculous buffoonery! Pray, hope, and don't worry. But don't be blind. Read the writing on the wall. The Latin Mass and anything associated with tradition has to go. All must be weaned away from their desire for the traditional Mass and Sacraments. So traditional Catholics were banned at St. Peters. No entry for you, faithful Catholics who love tradition. You are not allowed to enter here. All are welcome, but not you with your Catholic families, with women and girls wearing those ridiculous veils. Get out of here! Go back to the catacombs.
Let us make our homes monasteries of prayer.
Have mercy on us, Lord Jesus!
Pray the rosary for the conversion of Rome.

What is wrong with these people? Not the Vatican, we know their problem but the ".....group is NOT affiliated with the SSPX in any way. It is composed of the Ecclesia Dei groups that are in a regular situation with Rome." Wake up folks. This is like the fraternity scene in the movie animal house. WACK!..........Thank you sir may I have another............WACK!..........Thank you sir may I have another. Leo is doing the wacking, the faithful are doing the begging. The only way is full unification with the SSPX. They are the last obstacle left in the Leo take over. It has to be evident by now that the traditional Catholic church, let alone the TLM is not in the game plan. What will it take for people to realize this? If someone wants to wear a hair shirt then far from me to condemn it but in all honesty why?
ReplyDeleteYou are right, Al. Maybe they have Stockholm Syndrome. The separation from the false brethren and the New Synodal Church is speeding up.
ReplyDeleteYes Andrew a good description. I just wrote a piece on my tridentinecatholic site about how useless on line petitions are. The lastest one if for bishop Golka to reconsider his gag order on Fr. Ripperger. Ya right that will happen. Fr. Alman said these petitions mean nothing to these bishops. They just have a good belly laugh and throw in the trash. In many ways the surmonium pontificum folks mean well but they are part of the problem. Whatever they put in the collection basket a portion goes to the local diocese which I am sure contributes to the destruction of the traditional mass. I hope Mary Ann won't mind I will put a link here. https://tridentinecatholic.com/wp2/2026/10/27/on-line-petitions-dont-waste-your-time/
DeleteHow close are we to GOD's Great Reset? It will be both necessary and terrifying at the same time. When God says "enough is enough", well, think of Judea about 585 BC after the Nebuchadnezzar Moment. The book of Lamentations set the template for the 2030's. Kyrie Eleison, Christe Eleison!
