Fr. Tom Weighs in on FBI's Decision Not to Prosecute Hillary

Arrogance, contempt, and boredom: that's how Hillary shows
 her regret for the deaths of our American heroes in Benghazi.
In view of the FBI's decision not to recommend the prosecution of Hillary Clinton for violations of our nation's security laws, note also that, among other things, the FBI
1 - did not mention her violation of the her sworn written commitment to use only secure government e-mail server(s) for her State Department business, which she signed before she assumed her office as Secretary of State;
2 - did not mention her arranging for the State Department, through Susan Rice, to lie to the American people by asserting that the the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate at Benghazi was merely a reaction to a Youtube video;

Named Clinton? You Can Break Any Law and Use a Get-Out-of-Jail-Free Card!

FBI Rewrites Federal Law to Let Hillary Off the Hook

One more example of our corrupt government! Think of the cases below compared to Hillary's innumerable scandals.

Former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell was indicted for accepting gifts that didn't total the stipend for one Clinton speech or one Clinton fundraiser.

"The Pope speaks like a typical leftist Marxist atheist."

Raymond Ibrahim is an American born Coptic Christian who speaks fluent Arabic and is the author of Crucified Again: Exposing Islam's New War on Christians. In addition he has a website for keeping up to date on all things Islamic in the world and is frequently a TV news guest discussing Islam and terrorism.

Therefore I was thrilled that Raymond Ibrahim has a current video saying the same thing I did about Pope Francis’ May17th comment in his interview with La Croix when he (the Pope) said:

Happy Fourth! Enjoy our National March Played by the President's Own

Can the Trump Haters at Least Base Their Opinions on Something besides Feelings?

We live in a culture of feelings. Many people today replace thoughts with whatever visceral reaction they have at the moment. Perhaps they feel the way they do because they ate a piece of bad meat, as C.S. Lewis once observed, but don't disturb them with a request for facts. They know what they know because they feeeeel it's so.

That was my reaction this morning when a friend sent me an article by Jason Taylor. I'm not familiar with him, in fact I never heard of him before, but he says he's pro-life and he sure hates Trump. He makes a few general statements like:

Loving Our Neighbor

..the least of these brothers
and sisters of mine Matt. 25:40
This past Sunday our deacon, ordinarily a very good homilist,  gave a sermon focused, on the words of St. Paul from his letter to the Galatians, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."  The sermon was going well until he said something about  simply writing a check not being good enough and what a shame it is that more of us don't sign up to make sandwiches for the poor.
At that point, he lost me, because I sensed a political agenda that I've long held in suspicion.  I never heard this "sandwich thing" before we moved to Virginia where I saw it listed in my parish bulletin.

"Reckless" Pronouncements of Pope are a Danger to Marriage!

Watch the video below and pray for the pope.

"A line has been crossed here." It's "preposterous" to say that most marriages are invalid because the culture is bad.

Most marriages are valid! The promise protects the commitment and couples grow into marriage. I was 22 when I got married and every day was a new commitment to the promise "for better or worse, in good times and bad, etc." You renew the vow by being faithful to it.

Guest Editorial: Pope Francis and Doublespeak on Women Deacons

Moi? Would I suggest anything unorthodox?
Francis Open to Women Deacons?

By David Martin

In an interview with journalists on June 26, Pope Francis feigned anger and surprise over two-month-old reports that he has opened the door to allowing women deacons in the Catholic Church.

"The first to be surprised by this news was me," the Pope said on June 26 during an in-flight press briefing en route to Rome following his three-day visit to Armenia. "They said: 'The Church opens the door to deaconesses.' Really? I am a bit angry because this is not telling the truth of things."

Solzhenitsyn's Action Plan for Sports Illustrated - "Just Cancel It"

LGBTQ Nation thinks Bruce is "smoking hot" as a
woman.  That's a sexist remark. Why aren't
feminists angry about that?
How many households will cancel their subscription to Sports Illustrated after the porn* sports magazine’s July 4-11 cover photo of Bruce Jenner and 12 – TWELVE! – pages of disgusting transgender promotion, plus one more picture of the little 6’2” woman clutching a picture of herself when she was a man to her celebrated but quite fake bosom? One? Maybe two? Is anyone angry enough to do without Tim Layden’s smarmy blow by blow rendition of the transition of Bruce to Bruce dressed as a woman calling himself Caitlyn?

Let’s remember our science. Bruce will never be a woman. His DNA tells the truth that he is a man because the 23rd chromosome says so. Of the twenty-three pairs of human chromosomes, twenty-two are alike in both males and females. That is to say, any one of them could just as readily be in either sex. But when it comes to the twenty-third pair, the sexes are not the same. Every woman has in her cells (every cell of her body) two of the X chromosome. But a man has just one X – its mate being the much smaller Y (in every cell in his body).
