This paper plate bowl was used as a Ciborium. Hosts were consecrated in it and Holy Communion distributed from it, then after Mass it was thrown in the garbage. Horrified, I fished it out of the trash and the next day took it to my pastor to burn, along with the bag and tissue paper I had put it in. THIS is what leftist liberal modernist priests do - those who no longer believe in the Real Presence, if they ever did at all, that is. THIS sacrilege and utterly disgusting actions of an out-of-state priest have sent me flying into the arms of the SSPX in order to escape the horror of having to see Christ treated in such a degrading and shameful manner. The Mass was not celebrated in a diocesan church, or any church at all, nevertheless, my pastor, to whom I supplied all the pertinent information, has said that he will report it to the bishop. So we shall see. I did speak to the errant priest about this, although I did not tell him I had taken the "Ciborium" out of the trash.

According to the CDC itself (who've been lying to us since the start of the "pandemic,") many deaths attributed to the Wuhan virus were actually from heart attacks, pneumonia, cancer, etc. Among patients described as "corona deaths" were those already in hospice care dying from a terminal disease. But hospitals, under the CARES ACT, were paid a 20% bonus for all so-called covid deaths, over 130,000 due to other causes.

 And the studies are out there to prove it. Many studies show no difference in surgery whether doctors and health care providers or don't. In fact, in one study there were few complications when the operating staff did not mask up! Read the studies!

Monday Morning Meanderings....It's Snowing Again!

• Coming back from Florida makes the cold seem colder, and I
loved my short getaway in the Sunshine State visiting my blog partner Susan. But I could never move to Florida; I love the changing seasons too much. Right now it's snowing again and is so beautiful. The birds are busy at the feeders. The cardinals in the snowy branches of the trees paint a splash of color against the gray day and the white snow. (My son in Texas probably wants to wash my mouth out with soap about now, although he posted on Facebook that they needed to use the air conditioner in the car today. Go figure!) I can admire the lovely snowfall this morning because the temperatures are on the rise and it's supposed to change to rain with sunshine later in the day. By Wednesday the thermostat prediction is the 60s. February is definitely a changeling!

My son lives in a northern suburb of Austin, TX. We just talked to him tonight and he is doing better than many in the state. Things are getting back to normal for them despite living through what my son described as "the worst week of my life." They had no heat (ran out of propane), so he, his wife, and six kids still at home hunkered down in the parents' bedroom with an intermittently working space heater subject to the rolling blackouts. With the house down to 50 degrees or so, they bundled up and ate soup made in the crockpot while the electricity was on.
