Pray for the Repose of the Souls of two Catholic Heroes, John Vennari and Malia Wells

Please also pray for the repose of the soul of Malia Wells, a courageous Catholic home-schooling mother of eight who died on April 3rd. She leaves behind a large family including several young children.


Both of these Catholics lived for the faith and were called home long before the proverbial three score and ten years, a milestone I met just a week ago.

I urge everyone not only to pray FOR these dear ones, but to also ask their intercession, especially for souls in need of conversion. They both experienced a long suffering with cancer. How many people did they touch through their cheerful acceptance of their agonies? Certainly, they invite our reflection on the four last things: death, judgment, heaven or hell. None of us knows the day or the hour we will be called to face our own particular judgment.

May God give each of us the courage to offer our sufferings with joy for the love of Jesus Christ, the conversion of sinners, and in atonement for sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Jesus Christ, lamb of God, have mercy on us. Our Lady, help of Christians, pray for us.
