Pro-life missionaries: changing hearts on college campuses with the GAP (Genocide Awareness Project). Won't you help? |
There's a saying about the missions -- "Some give by going and some go by giving." I thought about that when I read Fletcher's email below. In the early days of the formation of the East Coast Center for Bioethical Reform (CBR), Fletcher stopped by to visit us on his way through Woodstock. We've been supporters ever since.
CBR doesn't flinch. They go out on the front lines at colleges and universities and speak the truth about the value of human life. We've been supporting Maggie Egger, one of their staff members, for several years with a monthly donation and recently doubled it because we respect the work CBR does so much.

They save babies. Wherever they go the number of calls and visits to local pregnancy help centers go way up. They engage with students who are open to the truth and, after a short conversation, say, "I was pro-choice, but now I'm pro-life." The truth changes hearts. Will you help CBR? In my opinion they are doing one of the most important pro-life works in the U.S. How many college coeds get pregnant and think abortion is their only option? CBR shatters that myth and offers real, compassionate help. They are an important facet of the culture of life diamond.
Thanks to Fletcher and all his staff of pro-life missionaries! Now that I'm not on the front lines very often I'm so happy I can support a surrogate.
And here's Fletcher's email. On this Feast of St. James remember what he said about faith: "Show me your faith, I'll show you my actions." You can put feet to your faith by supporting CBR. St. Therese, patroness of missionaries, pray for us!

E-mail from Fletcher Armstrong:
We
are pleased to welcome Joanna Keilson of Cary, North Carolina to the CBR family.
Joanna is a graduate of UNC Greensboro, having earned her BS degree in Public
Health Education.
Pro-life
activism is in Joanna's DNA. Her mother helped start one of the first crisis
pregnancy centers in Maryland. While a student, Joanna led the campus arm of
the Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center.
After
graduation, she began to explore career options. For years, she felt God
tugging at her heart. But the abortion thing? Really? She knew somebody
should do something, but couldn't it be somebody else? Or maybe child sacrifice
would just fix itself. Yeah, right.
Joanna Kielson, pro-life missionary |
It
was a real tug-of-war between CBR and med school, and the children won out!
Welcome
aboard, Joanna! We're expecting great things from you!
If
you'd like to share in this work, it's quick, easy, and secure to support CBR
online. Whatever you can do will make a huge difference. To support Joanna's work, designate your gift for "Carolina
Project Director (SE-JLK)."

as CBR does."

said, "And I sought for a man among them, that should ... stand in the gap
before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
