Barbarism on Steroids: California and Maryland May Join Colorado's Most Evil States Status

With the Reproductive Health Equity Act, an oxymoron if there ever was one, Colorado solidified access to abortion through all nine months of pregnancy for any reason or no reason. They also stipulated that no matter what the federal government does, abortion will still be the state sacrament. We all know abortion has absolutely nothing to do with reproductive (or any other) health. It certainly isn't healthy for the baby and takes a horrible toll on a woman's health with a higher risk of cancer, cervical incompetence, hemorrhage, and even death. As for equity, there's certainly none of that for the baby who is treated like a piece of property just like Dread Scott was in the famous slavery case.

Two other states are in competition for Most Evil State Status as well. Maryland has a bill in the hopper that would not only legalize abortion through all nine months, but during the "perinatal" period which is defined as up to 28 days after birth. It also legislates against any investigation of child murder associated with an abortion. Hey, you deliver a kid with a cleft palate or Downs Syndrome or malformed ears, just put the little one in the recycle bin and "send him back to God" as one deathscort used to tell me when I was sidewalk counseling. Well, truth be told, we know that's where the murdered babies go -- to God. I'm not so sure about Jim the deathscort after he died. Hey, he loved his dog Pumpkin so he wasn't all bad. He was instrumental in getting a law to require veterinary hospitals to have 24-hour care. At least that's what he told me. I used to beg him to think of the babies as puppies. He often gave me short notes with his "thoughts." Jim was also homosexual, so, if he acted on his disordered passions, he had two sins that cry to heaven for vengeance on his slate. God help poor Jim. I still occasionally pray for him. I will today. So many liberals like Jim would be loathe to rip a dog limb from limb while they champion the same treatment for human babies. God help them all on Judgment Day.

Maryland and Colorado are in competition for most evil law with California Assembly Bill 2223 which also uses the "perinatal" language. Liberals claim that the law does not legalize infanticide, but we've seen liberals use bait and switch in the past. While they try to get the bill passed they claim one thing and then use their vague language to do exactly what pro-lifers warned. We know pediatric surgeon Ralph Northan, previous governor of Virginia talked about parents being able to kill their children by neglect after birth. Why would anyone think the state of California would protect babies unwanted by their parents after birth.

A number of other states are becoming "sanctuaries" for child killing. Fundamentally, it's red state/blue state shake down. We are moving back to the pre-Roe days when some states protected life and others legalized murder depending on size and place of residence. Colorado which was first in line to kill the innocent in 1967 making babies in the womb the new slaves, property of their mothers with no rights.

Everyone has a duty to protect the innocent beginning at the lowest level -- in the family and the local community. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something beginning with prayer and financial support for baby-saving operations. We will all face the question on Judgment Day when Jesus says, "Whatever you did for the least of my little ones, you did it for Me." The corollary to that statement is, "Whatever you failed to do for the least of my little ones, you failed to do for Me."

What is the Lord asking of us today?

  1. He loved dogs but he hated babies and help murder them “so he wasn’t all bad”. What a crass statement from you.

  2. I was being sarcastic. Liberals often talk about how much they love animals. That's why I told Jim to think of the babies as puppies. I thought what I was saying was pretty self-evident. Just curious. Have you ever sidewalk counseled?
