I am the Catholic vote! And I WILL use my vote to defend the helpless.
Vote your faith. And remember these words of St. Teresa of Avila:
Christ has no body now on earth but yours,
no hands but yours,
no feet but yours,

Does that include those on death row? Does it include the women, children and old men who are killed by drone planes in Pakistan and Afghanistan and Iraq? Does it include the homeless in this country, most of whom are women and children? I hope so.
ReplyDeleteI will never do nothing because I can't do everything. Each of us is called to relieve suffering where we can and to touch the lives of those with whom we come in contact. Does your concern include the helpless unborn and the forgotten elderly in nursing homes?
