King and Spalding Lose Clients Over Unethical Behavior

I blogged a few days ago (See here.) about the law firm, King and Spalding, that was supposed to represent Congress in the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) case. The law firm backed out after pressure from the gay lobby. Paul Clement, the lawyer designated to fight the battle, resigned over the firm's cowardly and unethical actions. But the story isn't over. Some high profile K & S clients (the NRA and the state of Virginia) are dissing the firm as untrustworthy. Read about it and cheer! Those who turn tail and run when the going gets tough deserve nothing but a good hefty boot in the derriere to speed them along their yellow road!
