"Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" -- that was their slogan. Pretty words for a terrifying period of history that engaged in class warfare and war against the Church.
No liberty, equality, or fraternity for clergy or the 16 Carmelite sisters who sang at the scaffold before their martyrdom like the Roman martyrs in the coliseum. Entire religious houses were sentenced to death for the crime of being Catholic.
Two words come to mind when I recall the history of the French Revolution: anarchy and violence.
And what two words do I think of every day as I watch cities around the country burn, historic monuments (and even gravestones) defaced and toppled, people terrorized and even murdered: anarchy and violence.
This is not likely to end well.
Do you think the residents of Chaz, the "autonomous zone" in Seattle feel safe? Some describe the area as like a huge block party. Others contend that business owners are being extorted if they want to continue to operate within the zone. Protection money?
Historically, anarchy ends in tyranny. The French Revolution paved the way for Napoleon, one of the monsters of history.
How will this all end? Time will tell. In the meantime, those of us who love the Lord and seek His holy will need to be on our knees praying for our poor country.
Yes it is the French Revolution on steroids with the help of technocracy. In fact I wrote a letter to a priest back in October warning him that we were headed down this same path. The only solution is for the proper Consecration of Russia by the Pope and All the Bishops of the World. We the faithful must pray the rosary every day for this consecration and if we do our part Our Lady will get this done ~ but alas just like in 1689 we don't listen. In 1689 Our Lord through Sister Mary Margaret told the King of France to Consecrate France to His Sacred Heart ~ this was to protect France but it was not done. In 1789 France suffered through the Communist FR and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the King was executed. 1789-1794 the people suffered through the Reign of Terror.
ReplyDeleteIn 1929 Our Lady told Sister Lucia that "now was the time to do the Consecration" Interestingly Technocracy started in 1930 in the basement of Columbia University and technocracy is what the Marxist are using as the tool to control mankind. But that is a different story. (Technocracy is the science of social engineering....to distribute goods and services to the entire population. In 1931 Our Lord appeared to sister Lucia and told her if the proper consecration was not done like the King of France His ministers will repent.
So if heaven follows the 100 year pattern then 1929-2029 would put our troubles right on track with the implementation of Agenda 21/30, a Marxist plan to destroy our way of life.
Since October 2019 I have not had one day of peace because I knew what was coming...I begged this priest (who is very well known) to start a media campaign to pray for this consecration. He politely blew me off ~ said he knew the consecration was not done but he didn't think he needed to involve himself in this.He'd pray about it... Funny this American traditional priest was and still is in Italy when the "Covid" psyop hit ~ he is fine.
Funny you should post this today on the anniversary of Our Lady's second apparition at Fatima. I went to the TLM this morning at Christendom College and this is exactly what the priest preached on -- even mentioned the two events you brought up. I completely agree with you and will begin praying very specifically for the consecration of Russia. I think it's interesting that it was Russia under Stalin who helped get Mao into power in China. So by extension the Chinese Communist Party and the CCP virus can be laid at the door of Russia. I don't know if I will be around in 2029. I'll be 82 if I live that long, but I will have kids and grandkids and probably great grandkids. I pray for their embrace of God's will in all things. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
