Something Beautiful for Mary!

It's First Saturday. Shall we do something beautiful for God by honoring His Mother? Please join me in making the Five First Saturdays of Reparation. Pray the rosary and meditate for fifteen minutes on its mysteries. Go to Confession and Communion (within a week or so) for the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. May this beautiful rendition of the Salve Regina (Hail Queen) be an inspiration and aid.

My little four-year-old grandson clings to his mother. He runs to her when he's hurt. Often he beside wrapping his little arms around her leg. He hides his face in her skirt. He climbs up on her lap when he's tired.

If you have a problem or are in pain or need comfort, run to Mary. She will comfort you like she did Juan Diego at Guadalupe when she said,  “Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the folds of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more? Let nothing else worry you, nothing disturb you.”

Mary will help you. She will lead you straight to Jesus and say, "Do whatever He tells you." She really is the "cause of our joy" and the most precious gift from her Son. Your love for her will never diminish your love for Jesus because her soul "magnifies the Lord." If you want to grow in holiness, if you want to know Christ more intimately, love Mary and honor her.

  1. That was lovely. A dose of faith, right to the soul. And boy, do I need it!

    Thank you!
